18/07/2026: A true seafood culinary experience. The fish is always incredibly fresh, freshly prepared daily. The dishes are truly special, from the raw fish to the hot appetizers, first courses, and fried fish—an experience not to be missed.

16/07/2026: I was here for a graduation. The quality of the food was excellent: even though there were people who didn't eat fish (or only wanted certain dishes), all our requests were met. We occupied the room overlooking the harbor: isolated from the rest of the restaurant, air-conditioned, and quiet. Excellent service: from the owners to the table service, it's hard to find a place these days where you're welcomed like this. I hope to return soon.

30/03/2026: A monument built on the ruins of a large Roman villa, inhabited until late antiquity, which between the 6th and 7th centuries became a castrum for the Byzantines who had retained control of the nearby port of Aternum (Pescara), a key landing place and intermediate port between the Exarchate capital of Ravenna and Constantinople. They evidently built the first nucleus of the historic Torre Alex (named after Alessandro Valignano, one of the lords of the Valignano di Cepagatti family in the 17th century). The tower was consolidated in the Lombard era as a control point for a strategic road junction at the crossroads of the S.S. Picena Aprutina and the routes leading up to Forca di Penne and the Aquilano area. From the 11th and 12th centuries, it became the seat of the lords of the Norman, Swabian, and Angevin fiefdom of Cepagatti, before passing to the Valignano family in the 15th century and finally to the current owners. The first archaeological investigations by the Superintendency date back to the 1970s, and continued between 1998 and 2011 in Piazza San Rocco, bringing to light important Roman-era artefacts preserved in the City Council Chamber. The restoration of the Castle has returned to the public the so-called "Sala delle Cisterne," a rare and authentic Roman-era cistern measuring 22 meters long and 4 meters wide, as well as the 340-square-meter "Sala del Grano," located on the top floor of the monument, with a panoramic view of the Pescara Valley. The restoration of the Marcantonio Castle, begun in 2008, represents a "place in history," and the over 2,000 square meters spread over four levels offer the possibility of hosting particularly evocative events. Unfortunately, it is now in decline due to problems with the owners and is closed. What a shame... It is closed and abandoned. We hope the municipality of Cepagatti buys it back.

26/06/2026: We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening as a couple. Considering the prices and location, we expected much more attentive service. Right from the start of the dinner, we were surprised by the wine service... The bottle was opened and poured directly without even offering a taste, a small gesture that should be expected in a restaurant of this caliber. After receiving the appetizer, however, a long wait began. After more than an hour had passed without receiving the first course, we inquired with the waiter, who asked if everything was okay. When we mentioned that we were still waiting for the first course, he went to the kitchen and we discovered that our order had simply been forgotten. After another wait of about half an hour, the first course finally arrived. The dish was overall pleasant, but the pasta was flavorless, lacking in salt and undercooked, so much so that some of the pasta was still stuck to the dish. Once we had finished the first course, we reminded the staff that we had also ordered the second course. Again, the waiter seemed surprised, as if the order had been forgotten again. After another 15-30 minutes of waiting, the fried fish arrived, unfortunately overly salty. We arrived at 8:00 PM and finished dinner around 10:30 PM. Despite numerous mix-ups and long waits, no one apologized, nor did we receive any kind of thoughtfulness or discount on our bill. An unfortunately disappointing experience, especially considering the expectations raised by the type of restaurant and the prices.

10/06/2026: We celebrated two birthdays over 40. Sublime dinner, impeccable service, and a peaceful atmosphere. An hour spent at the best restaurants in Pescara to eat excellent seafood without breaking the bank.

10/06/2026: A great experience. I celebrated my birthday with my family. The food was excellent. The tagliolini with clams was simply excellent. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. My only complaint, though, is not a complaint, but rather an extra treat. Having different types of bread, perhaps even warm ones, was a great treat. I repeat, an extra treat because everything was perfect. The raw fish and the fried fish. I'll definitely be back.

06/06/2026: The cuisine was thoughtful, balanced, and featured anything but banal combinations. Each dish had a distinct identity, with discernible flavor and research. The service was attentive, attentive, and friendly, but never intrusive. We felt welcomed and cared for with great professionalism throughout the dinner. The seaside location adds to the rest. We'll definitely be back, thanks guys.

08/07/2026: Delicious food, a neat and clean location, fair prices, impeccable and attentive service, and a wonderful owner. What more could you ask for? I took my guests to eat here for an event, and money was never better spent. We will definitely be back, and we thank you for your care, attention, honesty, and professionalism.

28/06/2026: The location is nice, but the overall experience didn't live up to expectations. The service leaves much to be desired: there's little customer service and the organization could be improved. As for the fish, I found it average, with no particular note of excellence. Overall, there's definitely room for improvement, especially in terms of service.

28/10/2025: I ordered them raw, and I have to say they were truly excellent. The quantity was just right, and the flavor and creativity were remarkable. The price was fair. The only thing I'd add was the wine list. Even though the cellar varies, there should be a basis for choosing. Thanks

27/10/2025: We went for dinner and were thrilled! The raw seafood, endless and exquisite, is of a rare freshness, as are the cold appetizers, carefully prepared and plentiful. Everything was delicious, the service impeccable, and the owner extremely friendly and welcoming. An experience definitely worth repeating! Recommended for raw seafood lovers.

07/03/2026: Last night, after checking into the dreadful hotel, we were more than compensated here. For starters, we had four different antipasto caldi: tuna, baby octopus, a culinary magic dish (very tasty, though I didn't quite understand what it was), and mezze aubergine. Then we had one maltagliati al sugo di... and one arrosto misto, a mixed fish and roast platter. The staff provided excellent service, and the Swiss owner even stopped by. The view of the Adriatic Sea was rather disappointing due to the darkness.

04/03/2026: What can I say? A restaurant with a sea view, delicious and plentiful first courses, and second courses as pictured, exceptional in freshness and cooking, fast service, and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommended!!!

05/05/2026: Very average pizza, sparse on ingredients, although the dough is good. Friendly service, and a plus for the English menu. Prices are quite high compared to others in the area.
