02/12/2025: A pizzeria that needs no praise; the quality of their dishes is well known. This time I tried the five-starred pizza with crusts stuffed to the pizza chef's specifications...they were all delicious. It wasn't easy to finish, but it was worth it. I recommend trying the fried carbonata and cacio e pepe appetizers; they're bursting with deliciousness.

02/12/2025: I ordered the Bella Spagnola pizza from Carpe Diem, convinced by the photo and the description: a crust filled with ricotta and Iberian chorizo ​​mousse, fiordilatte mozzarella, 36-month Riserva Iberian ham, buffalo mozzarella, basil, and extra virgin olive oil. The expected result—as shown on the menu—was a rich, well-topped, and visually refined pizza. What I received, however, was a different story: a pizza decidedly different from the picture, with far fewer ingredients and an almost "bare" appearance. The ham was present in small quantities, the basil barely hinted at, and, most importantly, the buffalo mozzarella mentioned in the description was completely absent. Even the crust filled with ricotta and Iberian chorizo, one of the dish's signature elements, didn't seem to have the promised richness. For a €17 pizza, I expected a significantly higher standard, both in terms of the quality of the preparation and in its faithfulness to the advertised product. The difference between the official photo and the actual product is too great to ignore. A real shame, because the recipe idea is excellent, but the execution in the take-out version was disappointing.

28/10/2025: I attended a cooking class at this restaurant and couldn't have expected anything better. Chef Angelo, with his infinite patience and professionalism, guided us step by step, explaining every detail clearly and sharing with us tons of practical advice and little tricks of the trade that really make a difference. It's an experience I recommend to anyone who loves good food, to young chefs looking to develop, or simply to anyone looking to spend a few special hours. All the products used were of the highest quality, and at the end, we were able to enjoy the dishes together. A truly 360-degree experience. What's more, he recently received a second fork from Gambero Rosso... Hats off 🤩

16/11/2025: My new review 2025: Unfortunately, the restaurant has apparently changed management and no longer has the quality it once had. The quality is substandard; the pasta is raw, the appetizers are a bit lame, the seafood salad is monotonous. Then came the chaos: dishes were brought chaotically, there were three of us, and one person was almost finished while another was about to start. The entire appetizer was brought the wrong way round, in other words, you had to call the staff every time to be served. Total chaos, and the quality is very questionable. You have a long way to go to catch up. My review from a few years ago: For many years, we've been eating regularly at La Rete as a family. Always a wonderful experience: excellent quality, guaranteed fresh fish, a warm welcome. In short, if you want to be sure of good seafood in the heart of Pescara, go to La Rete!

17/11/2025: We had the pleasure of lunch at Lido Il Corallo on Saturday, November 15th. It should be noted that our lunch was based on a pre-arranged menu, so my review cannot be considered as objective as a standard à la carte meal. Positive Aspects and Strengths: The dining room was well-heated and the atmosphere very pleasant. We appreciated the freshness of the dishes, the excellent quality of the seafood, and the excellent wine selection. The beachfront location, even in low season, is definitely worth a visit. Aspects for Improvement: Having set up the service with dishes placed in the center of the table for sharing, we noticed that the portions were not served evenly: some diners enjoyed generous portions, while others found themselves with smaller portions. Note on Service: Regarding the courtesy and politeness of the wait staff, I've received mixed feedback: some guests expressed complete satisfaction, while others found the service less attentive. Since I can't give a unified assessment, I'll simply note it. Overall, Lido Il Corallo offers a splendid setting and is worth a visit. Thanks again for hosting us!

26/09/2025: This might be the best restaurant for fresh fish and seafood to be found in Pescara and probably a way way larger radius. From the excellent food that we had, to the staff and the location, I totally recommend this beach restaurant. Also, the beach is great with nice sunbeds, and being in a gulf-like beach, it allows safe swimming for adults and kids.

06/10/2025: A waterfront establishment with a large window offering a breathtaking view of the waves. Bright, light-colored furnishings. The cuisine is excellent, with both hot and cold dishes, both local and international. Special mention goes to the fresh tuna cooked at low temperature and the tempura shrimp served with coffee mayonnaise. The first course, "Pescara-style," features chitarra ferfellone (a type of pasta) and Adriatic clams, and the fried fish with radicchio is unusual and delicious. The wines are good, and the green apple sorbet is unusual and delicious. Good

18/09/2025: A wonderful culinary experience, dinner with family and friends, everything was truly delicious, from the appetizer to the coffee. (I'm attaching a photo) The atmosphere was refined and very clean, the service was prompt and very professional, and we were all REALLY satisfied and promised to return next time to replicate this magnificent experience. I highly recommend it. Today, a few months later, I've had confirmation that Tahiti is one of the best places to eat fish in Pescara, no offense intended. (I'm attaching more photos)
