29/06/2025: The environment is well-kept even if the outside tables are a bit too close together. The staff is kind and attentive to the needs of the customer. Quality raw materials with good and tasty dishes and also abundant. Only a few carelessnesses in the service: two glasses different from each other, the forks different from each other ... They are small details but if they didn't happen, the place would be perfect

26/06/2025: It was our last night in Pescara and we were after a nice restaurant that would offer pasta with some sort of seafood. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't great at all. We arrived, been ignored by several people working there (just to note, it wasn't even busy with aprox half of the restaurant occupied). We finally sat down, been brought cutlery and water but no menu. After 10 mins I asked someone for a menu. And after 10 more minutes our order was taken. In the meantime there were other tables after us that ordered before us and got their food asap. The spaghetti with clams was very sandy and half of the clams were shut, couldn't eat it all...it was a very disappointing meal. Would not recommend!

17/06/2025: Nice clean and welcoming restaurant.. we are long-time customers and it had been a while since we were there, but after some time I had confirmation of what I already knew, if you want to eat fresh fish and don't want to spend a fortune this is the right place. We practically took everything hot and cold appetizers first second courses up to the sorbet all quality.. everything very fresh served hot.. the staff professional warm and above all fast.. we left more than satisfied... well done

07/07/2025: Reservations required to find a place, especially on weekends. The dishes are delicious, fresh and well-prepared fish. The environment is unique so when it is crowded it is quite noisy. Average service

30/06/2025: UPDATES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE REVIEW. We arrived at the restaurant just before 10 pm, a table booked since a friend of ours had called on our behalf in the afternoon. As soon as we entered, we indicated that we had a reservation: the waitress looked at us surprised and also pissed off, chatted with her colleague and immediately told us that it was too late and the kitchen was closed, even though she had indicated and respected the time. The strange thing? The tables around were still occupied, many were starting their second courses, and it was clear that the service was still in progress. No verification of the reservation, no apology, just a “no no, kitchen closed”. We left empty-handed, disappointed and sincerely surprised by such a half-hearted welcome. On a Friday night, in the summer, with a reservation made, we expected something completely different. Evening ruined. UPDATE 06/29/2025: I am updating only to respond to the owner's reply, I was hoping for clarification but he responded with sarcasm, gratuitous insults and obvious frustration. We showed up at the agreed time. If it was not acceptable, it was enough to say so during the booking phase, not to send customers away and then mock them publicly. Ibiza? Those who work late, perhaps on the ward, do not do it for sport. And going out to dinner at 9:55 pm, on a Friday night in the summer, should not be a problem in a place that is open until 11 pm. No problem with the food, which we did not have the opportunity to try. But regarding respect, there is a lot to review. UPDATE 06/30/2025: The second response, instead of clarifying, gets worse. Accusing someone who tells real and verifiable facts of “defamation” is a clumsy attempt to discredit an experience that happened under your responsibility. Saying that my experience “has nothing to do with your establishment” is surreal, embarrassing, simply false: the facts happened in your establishment, with your staff and in line with many other public testimonies. I have recounted, in measured tones, a blunder signed by you, and experienced first-hand. No defamation. Just facts. If you really think that someone who tells a bad experience is just someone “with nothing to do”, then it is not the average customer who escapes you. It is basic respect, period. As for free time: yes, I have enough to demand respect, especially from those who should also offer hospitality as a profession. I will end here. But I do so with one certainty: it is not a review that harms you. It is yours to place yourself and work.

29/06/2025: A lunch at Franco's is a pleasant adventure where the friendly atmosphere and the view of the port make you feel like a sailor discovering taste. The alternating flavors are typical of the various fish species that are served without any alteration of flavors and just softened by a sober and elegant manipulation that aims to enhance and mediate the taste. A few brush strokes of Abruzzo, a spicy touch on a raw food reminds us, and it doesn't hurt, that we are a land of the sea. Angelo Tarquinio Enogastronomo

25/06/2025: Really disappointed, the reviews above two stars are made by people who don't know what "eating" is, but they fill their stomachs. Raw food of very poor quality in the hope that I won't feel sick tonight, warm oysters without an ice base considering it's about 28 degrees outside, both cold and hot appetizers of poor quality, absolutely without flavor, the only good thing was the raw squid. Then spaghetti with clams embarrassing served with a plate full of water, flavorless it seemed like just boiled, I was hungry and had to eat them. But I say what the hell does it take to make a plate of pasta with clams??? The bases damn it. 82 euros spent and burned. Service on the other hand very fast and very friendly.
