21/06/2025: It's not really a restaurant where you can gorge on sushi! When I was there there were about ten types with lots of rice and very large but not much "filling". Most of the dishes are from Chinese restaurants, fried foods and grilled dishes. If you're looking for an all you can eat sushi place it's not for you. Although eating with a sea view at similar prices is more than fine.

19/06/2025: It was recommended to me by a friend. I took a hot and cold appetizer, in the cold three small plates and in one an anchovy all alone a mixed seafood that was enough to eat with a forkful. The hot one was a decent fish ball and sautéed mussels. A first course of paccheri and two second courses, a fried dish and a mixed roast of three pieces. Considering that there were two of us for an appetizer, a first course and two second courses paid 75 euros with house wine (half a liter) and water it seems a bit too much. On a positive note the waiter was polite and quick, on a negative note the lady at the cash register, not very professional

12/06/2025: You could say - a nice pub by the beach. But the lady behind the bar when she saw €100 her eyes lit up. First she gave me €70 instead of €90, when I asked for the change she added €20 but at the table I saw that I had let myself be fooled for €3 anyway. I recommend caution. That type of person. There are a lot of beaches and bars around...

28/05/2025: I had the opportunity to personally try this seafood restaurant that I have often heard praised and I can say that it is worth a visit. The location is a little off the beaten track where we would expect to eat seafood: it is not on the classic seafront, but in the hills of Pescara. Perhaps an unusual choice, but a pleasant one. Parking is convenient and the setting is quiet. We were welcomed in the veranda room: bright and well ventilated, it contributed to making the atmosphere relaxing and pleasant. The service was fast and attentive: the waitress who looked after us was always courteous, helpful and smiling, which really makes the difference. The seafood appetizers were delicious and tasty, as was the mixed fried fish: light, crunchy and not at all greasy. The only sour note was the fish carbonara, an original dish but unfortunately too salty, at least in our experience. A disappointment. Despite this small inconvenience, I will definitely return to try other dishes even if, for my personal taste, I prefer to eat fish with a beautiful sea view.

20/06/2025: 5 well-deserved stars for the Positano Restaurant in Pescara! A few nights ago, a perfect dinner with eight friends (four from Milan, their first time... they were thrilled!). Very fresh fish and impeccably presented, a super elegant setting and beautiful music in the background. Thanks to the owner who helped us choose from a thousand delicious options. Among the favorite dishes: - Very fresh raw appetizer elegantly plated - Very tasty risotto alla marinara - Dreamy octopus with potato chips - Paccheri with bergamot, super trendy and very fragrant - Mixed grill: timeless and impeccable. - Outstanding lemon delight, worthy of Sal De Riso's. Very fair prices considering the refined table linens, silver cutlery and a wide, sharp and sagacious wine list. The organic options are very interesting. Positano da Vittorio highly recommended!

17/06/2025: We chose the place by flipping a coin because my partner and I were torn between two restaurants. At the entrance, no one showed interest in us and, by raising our hands, we managed to get the attention of a man. A very polite girl sat us down and set the table for us and, after a bit of a wait, brought us the menu. We chose our dinner and got lost in chatter while, in the meantime, other people arrived and in a short time already had dinner on the table. With a lot of patience, we asked to order and finally someone came to take our order: 2 first courses, 1 shared second course and 2 coffees. An interminable dinner lasting 3 hours (no exaggeration), where we asked maybe 17 times how our dishes were; we even had to hurry for the coffees! We would have also asked for dessert (as usual) but the long wait and the accumulated nervousness closed our stomachs. We paid 78€ in total for a dinner that was quite good quality but the waiting times negatively affected the whole evening. Of course we will never go there again!

18/04/2025: Good option to eat in Pescara, it was our last night and we had a great time, the food was excellent and the place very nice, the service could have been better without taking into account the mess in the room, dirty tables not cleared which gave a bad appearance...for me, lack of management

11/04/2025: Locale di altissimo livello: ambientazione delle Mauritius, realizzato in modo quanto mai fedele, cucina con chef d’esperienza internazionale, la cantina è sorprendentemente ricca e il personale di sala molto gentile e disponibile. L’unica cosa non a livello è il prezzo!

27/02/2025: Un ristorante famoso, con annesso splendido stabilimento balneare della famiglia De Cecco, punto di riferimento e di grande richiamo per la città di Pescara. Ristorante che durante l’anno si avvale della collaborazione dello Chef tristellato Heinz Beck che organizza serate a tema. Ho avuto il piacere di trascorrere il pranzo natalizio con la mia famiglia in un ambiente caldo, molto creativo e curato nelle decorazioni natalizie. Il locale cambia spesso scenografia in base alle festività e agli eventi, a memoria della clientela storica. Il personale di sala accogliente, garbato, attento alle esigenze della clientela. Il pranzo natalizio si è sviluppato tutto intorno ai piatti iconici natalizi della tradizione abruzzese, molto gustosi, curati , creati con materiali di alta qualità. Nonostante il locale fosse al completo ho apprezzato il tono silenzioso e pacato della clientela ( cosa rara in Italia). Naturalmente non posso non consigliarlo, mi auguro di tornarci presto, magari in estate.

27/05/2025: Historic restaurant in the city center. Fresh fish cooked well, classic dishes with some twists in the appetizers that are worth trying. A few small flaws in the service but nothing serious.

21/05/2025: Ristorante dall’ambiente semplice e familiare, ben curato e atmosfera piacevole, molto gradevole l'accoglienza. Ho gustato ottimi piatti di pesce fresco e della tradizione abruzzese. Molto buoni i primi così come gli antipasti. Stanca oramai di questa “gourmetizzazione” come se la tradizione non fosse per gli intenditori, sono voluta tornare in un ristorante “normale”, in quanto non si capisce quando questa bizzarra idea si sia impossessata di clienti e ristoranti. Per fortuna, non di tutti. E finalmente ho potuto mangiare di nuovo seppie e piselli. Quelli veri. Senza scomposizioni. Interessante anche la carta dei vini ben fornita a prezzi onesti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consiglio.

21/05/2025: Ambiente molto tranquillo dove puoi gustare deliziosi piatti di pesce preparati con cura e con ingredienti freschissimi, di prima qualità. Ottimi i primi, come la pasta e ceci con pesce o la pasta corta con cozze e zucchine, succulente le cozze. Vale la pena assaggiare alcune delle proposte e magari accompagnarle con del buon vino messo a disposizione da un discreto elenco di cantine vini.

Not to mention the staff or owners who treat the customer like dirt in the face!!! Nowadays it is mandatory to treat the customer well especially when everything sucks!!!
