02/04/2026: Adding another restaurant in Abruzzo is a real pleasure for me. La Rete is an excellent restaurant where I finally tasted simple cuisine, without frills or elaborate additions. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The prices were very reasonable. The owner was kind and friendly. The staff were good, but could be improved a bit.

A refined restaurant, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent food, with dishes prepared with care and meticulous attention to detail. But what made the evening truly special was the impeccable service.
A special thanks to Silvia, extremely kind, professional, and always smiling: she made us feel welcomed and pampered from start to finish with a rare kindness. The entire staff was also extremely friendly and attentive.
It's always nice to find people who work with passion and exude a sense of warmth beyond their professionalism. We'll definitely be back and will happily recommend it!
09/05/2026: I wasn't familiar with this place, and I have to say I loved it! The cold and hot appetizers were excellent, different from the usual ones, as was the roast.
The sagne e ceci was also worth it. The staff was professional and friendly.
I didn't give it 5 stars only because I still have something to try, like the spaghetti with clams and the fried fish... I'll have to go back 😉

06/05/2026: A quick lunch on the way back from Pescara to Florence. Parking was no problem, but we were on a motorbike. The food was good, the guys were quick and friendly, and there's nothing better by the sea.
Arrosticini and vegetables were top notch.

30/04/2026: As a native of Abruzzo and Pescara, I can say that at Scalo di Montesilvano you can eat the best fish in Abruzzo. The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff is always helpful, polite, and professional. For my family and I, it's a regular stop when we want a place where we can eat beautifully and enjoy a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere.
18/04/2026: Overall, a mediocre experience. The food was decent, but not enough to justify the final bill.
The service was poor: we weren't presented with the menu or the wine list; we were directed directly to what was offered, without many options.
The bill was €65 per person for a cold and hot appetizer and a coffee. No selection of raw fish, no dessert, and not even a liqueur. Considering the area, quantity, and quality of the dishes, the price was decidedly high.
The quality-price ratio was unsatisfactory. Not recommended.

A tourist trap. Don't trust the menu photos, which don't even begin to reflect what's served. A 20-minute grill served with just four things. I was supposed to have seafood pasta, but I ended up having pasta and oil with pre-cooked fish, which is better than the one from the supermarket.
12/07/2026: I came to this restaurant based on the reviews, and I was wrong.
The waiters were courteous and polite, but the rest was forgettable. The entrees arrived haphazardly, the main course as a first course, the appetizer following... but that's the
minimum. The pizza wasn't the one in the photo; it looked frozen.
The seafood appetizer was full of vegetables and not much fish... the arrosticini were for 6... but above all, they were extremely slow to cook... avoid.

04/06/2026: I stopped for a quick lunch and it turned into an odyssey... Tuna tartare, I don't know if it was tuna, I couldn't tell from the taste or the color, I opted for fried calamari, 00 flour for sure, pieces of flour stuck to the calamari, (which I had to clean and scrape off with a fork and knife to get calamari out of it) not to mention the salt which at this point I think is their own property... I leave half of it on the plate, I opted for spaghetti with clams, 10 or so.... Salt to no end and a sauce made with broth....... That said, if you like salt this is the place for you, but be careful, you might find food in your salt plate.... 😅 🤦♀️

17/06/2026: Good morning everyone, I'm in Pescara with a friend and we went to this restaurant on the beach... we had no expectations at all at the tables outside, but we ate divinely! We had the calamarata with fresh, slightly spicy fish that was sublime, the beans with octopus that was buttery, and the fried calamari that was exceptional! Mrs. Paola, a little rustic and genuine, very welcoming and attentive, I highly recommend it.
