The cuisine won us over with carefully prepared dishes and top-quality ingredients. The raw ham was truly excellent! A special mention to Gaia, our waitress, always kind, helpful, and smiling: she made the evening even more enjoyable with her professionalism and friendliness. ❤️

We spent a wonderful evening at Hosteria del Pavone and can't recommend it highly enough! Located in the heart of Vasto's historic center, the restaurant is meticulously maintained, and we were pleasantly surprised by the open-view refrigerator where the fish is aging. From the first moment, we felt welcomed; everyone was extremely kind, helpful, and courteous. The food was simply top-notch: high-quality ingredients and carefully prepared dishes. A special mention definitely goes to the raw seafood, which was truly exceptional. We'll definitely be back!

The decor alone is worth a visit. The walls are adorned with paintings and works of the finest Italian pop art. The food is well-matched and delicious, and the service is attentive.

A historic restaurant in the center of Vasto. The second generation has even improved the dining experience. Excellent quality ingredients, especially the raw fish, are paired with an excellent wine list. The host and owner welcomes you with warmth and expertise. However, quality comes at a price, and rightly so.

This family-run osteria is a hidden gem in Vasto—the owner and his family are amazing; they walked us through our menu (in Italian), showed us detailed pictures of the most recent catch, and kept us coming back for more. They were very accommodating to our 4- and 6-year-old, making them an amazing parmesan pasta dish. A beautiful place that won't disappoint. I can't wait to return. What an amazing place. Great menu and great wine list. What truly makes this place stand out though is the combo of fine dining level dishes in a small family restaurant atmosphere. The owner and his son are clearly both so passionate about their work and are genuinely excited to share their creations with guests. I saw the recent review from someone claiming they were mistreated as foreigners and want to assure anyone who has read that and is now hesitant to try this restaurant that it is absolute nonsense. My party was also entirely foreigners and there was nothing but professionalism and kindness from all staff.

Leaving Teramo and making the long journey was a rewarding endeavor: we discovered an exceptional and beautiful contemporary restaurant, a true gem worth visiting at least once in a lifetime (and the Michelin star they already hold is a well-deserved testament to that!). The freshness of the fish is evident with all five senses before even tasting it. When the dish arrives at the table, the aroma envelops you, and then, at the first bite, it's an explosion of flavors that explodes in your mouth. More than a dinner, it was a culinary adventure, an unforgettable sensory experience enjoyed through a journey that was simply perfect from start to finish. We began with appetizers of incredibly fresh and amazing raw fish, then continued with an excellent and balanced first course, a masterfully cooked second course of baked fish with potatoes, and finally, a dessert that represented the perfect conclusion to this sublime journey. The crowning touch to this memorable lunch was the discovery of a truly DOC wine cellar: I've never seen such an incredibly well-stocked cellar, brimming with every type of wine imaginable. But it's not just the labels: the way the wine was described and presented to us was fascinating, with a passionate narrative that further enriched the experience and the pairing with the dishes. Beyond the cuisine, the customer service was extraordinary. There were three of us, and since one of the guests didn't eat raw ham, the chef personally took care of the situation and came directly to our table to recommend alternatives and offer her something else. A gesture of great professionalism and human warmth that truly makes a difference. The location is also wonderful: modern, clean, and meticulously maintained. If you're looking for an experience that will stay with you, this is the place. Highly recommended!
