12/08/2025: Disgraceful service. We ordered two appetizers and two main courses. The appetizers arrived promptly, and we can't say anything negative about the quality. But here's where the fun begins. After about half an hour and feeling rather confused, we decided to wait another 10 minutes. At that point, we asked for information about the dishes and were told, "I'll go check," in a very hasty manner, and were given no information whatsoever. After about another 10 minutes, so after about 50 minutes of waiting for appetizers and main courses, we decided to pay and leave. As if that weren't enough, we were also charged a €6 service charge instead of acknowledging that this isn't the way to work. A truly terrible experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone (perhaps they're used to dealing with unwary tourists?), especially considering the number of quality restaurants in Chioggia.

12/08/2025: The service here is a total disaster. Despite having reserved a table in advance, we were completely ignored for 45 minutes. After that, we were only able to order because we insisted on making our presence known. You almost feel like you're being dissed as a non-Italian; neighboring tables with Italian guests (that's what we hear) were served before us even though they arrived later. The food is good, but nothing that you couldn't get at least as good at other restaurants in Chioggia. All in all, I wouldn't write this review if it hadn't happened to us twice. What a shame.

08/03/2025: How to find words for terrible service. I specify that my experience concerns the service in the bar area, during a peaceful and relaxing afternoon, I decided to have an aperitif with friends, but the rudeness of the staff, one in particular, ruined everything. Now I recommend that you who enter this place go shopping, because I can't say much more, the usual commercial bottles, but for the rest I inform you that Jesolo can give you better.

19/11/2024: Siamo rimasti a bocca aperta quando vediamo che al calice (al tavolo) non c’è il prosecco. C’è una lista di vini che francamente conosco poco. Noi ma sopratutto le donne amano il prosecco. Pure i commessi ci hanno detto che amano il prosecco e non capiscono come mai non è nella lista della mescita. Dandoci ragione al 100% ! Tornerò sperando venga messo. Resto bene come gamma di vini in esposizione bottiglie.

03/05/2025: Il ristorante presenta dei tipici piatti veneziani di buona qualità con quantità forse un po' modesta. Il prezzo è in linea con quelli di Venezia

26/04/2025: Ein sehr schön gelegenes Restaurant, bei dem es auf den ersten Blick auch nach leckerem Essen aussieht. Wir waren dann vom Essen sehr enttäuscht. Rundherum kann man deutlich bessere Qualität italienischen Essens geniessen. Service bestand aus eher wortkargen, eher mürrischen, älteren Herren. Die Pesto-Sauce an meinen Spaghetti war aus dem Fertig-Glas, wie ich es zu Hause in jedem Lebensmittelladen kaufen kann. Frittura Mista zu wenig frittiert und demnach die Calamari Fritti wie ein Kaugummi zum kauen. Einfach alles lieblos ausser die Tischchen direkt am Kanal. Schade, bessere Küche und das Lokal wäre eine Goldgrube, gut, das ist es wohl aus so, denn es liegt direkt an einer der vielen Hauptrouten für Touris.

19/07/2025: Una vera delusione per chi ama il crudo come me e sicuramente abituato a portate di ottimo livello . Presentare un piattino con 2 gamberi e 1 scampo con 3 carpaccini di ricciola spada e ombrina al prezzo di 28€ è un vero e proprio furto . Pagare un conto di 75 € a testa per un piatto di spaghetti al nero di seppia e uno spaghetto ai lupini di laguna è assolutamente una presa in giro . Ah dimenticavo per finire 2 palline di sorbetto e una porzione di tiramisù. 150€ spesi veramente male . Sconsiglio vivamente. Cibo: 1/5 | Servizio: 1/5 | Ambiente: 1/5

07/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante un sabato sera con un buon numero di amici, ma l’esperienza è stata tutt’altro che positiva. Appena arrivati, non ci è stato fornito alcun listino prezzi, lasciandoci completamente all’oscuro su cosa potessimo ordinare e sui costi. Il titolare ha deciso in gran parte lui, considerando solo in parte le nostre richieste: avevamo chiesto molto cotto o poco crudo, ma è arrivato metà crudo e metà cotto. Abbiamo potuto scegliere poco perché c’era gran poca scelta nelle sue proposte e cercava di imporre le sue decisioni. Gli antipasti erano semplici e poco saporiti, niente di speciale. Le cappelonghe erano pessime, tanto che nessuno le ha mangiate. L’unico primo che ci ha proposto era uno spaghettino, che nessuno ha preso, e lo stesso è successo con il secondo, una grigliata di pesce. Anche in questo caso avevamo chiesto determinate cose, ma il titolare ha fatto di testa sua. La grigliata era deludente: il branzino insapore e pieno di grasso, mentre la sogliola non aveva gusto. Il conto è stato un altro shock: 110 euro a testa, senza aver ricevuto alcuno scontrino (e, a detta loro, già “scontato”). Per aver mangiato solo antipasti e una grigliata scadente, ci è sembrato un vero e proprio furto. Penso che il titolare sia molto molto furbo, aveva già deciso il prezzo quando siamo arrivati… la professionalità non sa minimamente cosa sia… Esperienza da dimenticare. Non torneremo mai più.

04/08/2025: Totally overpriced. €3 for a cover. That's for providing cutlery and plates. Even for children. The food was OK, but poor value for money. Drinks were also ridiculously expensive.

03/08/2025: The food comes out sooooooooooooo late. Even when I call the staff, they just say it'll come out. The olive oil container is so covered in oil that I don't want to touch it.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati accolti come fossimo persone di famiglia. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, pesce freschissimo. Consiglio se si vuole mangiare tipico e fare una vera esperienza alla Giudecca in un posto storico. Torneremo presto. Grazie mille a tutti voi.

19/07/2025: Eins meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Venedig (Giudecca). Leider muss man über die Jahre leider einen negativen Trend beobachten. Preise sind entschieden gestiegen und die Portionen werden immer kleiner (willkommen bei der Touristengastronomie). Schade, denn Location ist sehr individuell und schön. Mal schauen, wie oft ich hier noch aufschlagen werde.

07/07/2025: For over 14 years you could get spaghetti pomodoro as a takeaway, and now takeaway has been minimized😌What a shame.. It was great, and doesn't really bring more customers into the restaurant.

23/08/2025: We went for a drink and 4 mussels and it cost us 62 euro. The service charge is 16% but the service provided wasn't even worth 1%. We got charge for a live music without asking us our consent or informing us before we sit down! Other than that atmosphere was ok, overall bad place.

22/08/2025: Absolute scammers!! Avoid this place! My wife and I went here hoping to have a relatively cheap meal as the rest of the holiday had been quite lavish and we were trying to pull back within budget a little. So we went with the intention of only having a main meal and drink each. No starter, no dessert. I got carbonara (€18) and my wife got grilled sea bass (€32) along with drinks (Shandy & Apple Juice, including a bottle of water to share). At the end of the meal the bill came to €125!! This included the waiter adding on a 20% tip, cover charges AND…. Also adding on €8.50 for live music!!!! We were never told at the time when being seated that there would be a charge to listen to the live music. What’s worse is that the singer was terrible! My wife and I thought he was a karaoke singer from the street! DO NOT GO HERE. The food was average and they try to scam you by adding so much to the bill.

11/07/2025: Viajero ciego estafado — € 9 pasta convertida en € 63 Tengo discapacidad visual, y esta fue mi primera visita a una trattoria en Venecia. Desafortunadamente, fui engañado debido a mi incapacidad para ver claramente. El personal recomendó un plato de pasta, diciendo que era de € 9. Lo ordené, confiando en esa información. Pero cuando llegó el momento de pagar, el propietario me dijo que en realidad eran 9 € por 100 gramos, algo que nunca me explicaron en ningún momento. Sin pedir mi consentimiento, cocinaron 700 gramos y luego me gritaron que pagara 63€. Cuando lo dudé, el dueño amenazó con llamar a la policía, lo que me puso extremadamente ansioso y asustado. Les dije que no tenía tarjeta, solo algo de dinero en efectivo. Me presionaron hasta que les di todo el dinero que tenía para salir de allí. Como alguien ciego, confío en explicaciones verbales claras. Pero ninguno fue proporcionado. En Florencia, cuando pedí filete, mostraron claramente el peso y el precio de antemano. Aquí, se aprovecharon de mi vulnerabilidad. Adjunto una foto del plato que sirvieron. Parecía una pasta típica de marisco, no algo que debería costar 63€. Y para ser claros, los 63€ eran solo para la pasta. Las bebidas y otros artículos se cobran por separado. Esto hace que la falta de explicación previa sea aún más indignante. Más tarde, encontré otra reseña que describía exactamente la misma situación: a un cliente le dijeron que era una “pasta de mariscos”, asumió que eran 15 € como los demás y terminó cobrándole 63 € por pasta de langosta. Es evidente que este es un patrón de engaño dirigido a los turistas, especialmente a aquellos que no están familiarizados con las prácticas locales o a personas vulnerables como yo. Ni siquiera me dieron un recibo. Esto no solo fue deshonesto, sino discriminatorio. Evita este lugar. Se benefician de engañar y amenazar a los clientes vulnerables.

05/07/2025: Nous recommandons ce restaurant qui est vraiment bon! J ai mangé du foie à la Vénitienne un délice!!! Les pâtes étaient très bonne aussi et le service excellent. Merci pour ce bon moment.

09/07/2025: Unfortunately, it didn't convince us. A few things were really deliciously prepared (e.g., the gnocchi appetizer), while others felt a bit carelessly prepared and not very high quality (dried-on bread slices/too much fat/large lumps of minced meat in the ragù). We both feel a bit nauseous, but that could also be due to the portion sizes. Unfortunately, it was also comparatively expensive, so we only gave it 1/5.

07/07/2025: I just want to say that the blonde waitress with glasses was really mean and badly educated. She needs to change jobs. Another brunette waitress is very kind but I will never go back there again... shame

02/05/2025: posto molto carino isolato dal caos di venezia, con spazio all aperto e al chiuso, piatti tipici e a basso prezzo ma soprattutto personale disponibile e gentile.

23/04/2025: Esperienza davvero pessima! Difficilmente ci è successo. Il personale non è per niente gentile e ci hanno portato il primo piatto dopo solo tre minuti esatti dall'antipasto! Gli spaghetti alla Rivetta, con i frutti di mare, erano scotti e insieme al pomodoro c'era anche la panna, completamente fuori luogo! Le cozze, presenti sia nell'antipasto che nel primo piatto, avevano un sapore disgustoso. E infatti abbiamo vomitato qualche ora più tardi! È stato fatto presente al personale, ma hanno volutamente ignorato il problema. Di solito il piatto non gradito non viene fatto pagare, oppure viene proposta una sostituzione. Loro, invece, non ci hanno neppure fatto lo sconto. I prezzi sono alti e mangiare all'aperto significa respirare una puzza nauseante proveniente dal rio a fianco. Ci sono posti decisamente migliori di questo a Venezia!

12/08/2025: How can I put it? Disgusting in every sense of the word. Defrosted pizzas (in French supermarkets, frozen ones are better). My daughter had spaghetti Bolognese: almost no meat => normal, it's a low-end supermarket sauce. Pure theft. And the best part: at the end of the dog food meal, my wife goes to the bathroom. I then go to pay (the owner gives me a huge face). She comes back, then we leave her hovel, and my daughter wants to use her bathroom. They go there, and then the owner arrives and threatens them, yelling at them that the bathrooms are off-limits to those who don't eat in her "restaurant." WE LEAVE! UNACCEPTABLE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE.

But my daughter, who wanted to go at the end, couldn't. The owner, with a disdainful air, told her that we had paid and therefore had to leave, and that the bathroom was during service.
