24/07/2026: We spent two evenings here, and the food was excellent both times. We tried Pomodoro pasta, Spaghetti Carbonara, and pizza, and everything was delicious. I especially recommend the El Cason pizza. The staff were friendly, and we will definitely come back on our next visit to Venice.

17/07/2026: Excellent quality and excellent service

15/07/2026: First they pick you up off the street, and after your meal, they offer you something to drink, and the bill is already on the table without you having to say a word. The pasta was cold, the schnitzel tasted like it came from frozen, the air conditioning was supposed to be on, but it was too hot, the toilet seat was broken and couldn't be locked, and there were no towels to dry your hands. We won't be going there again.

03/05/2026: The pasta here is amazing! The mixed grill meats are wonderful as well. The atmosphere is very quaint and inviting. The service is spectacular, Francesca always makes sure you are taken care of. As a side note it is very very clean! Love this place and the family that operates it.

22/12/2025: First time in Italy that I did not feel welcome. Maybe they have a perspective of foreigns. The place close at 2:30pm and we arrived at 1:40pm. Not sure it was because our skin color. Otherwise, it's very affordable.

18/04/2026: I've been coming to La Lanterna for many years. The service is always quick and impeccable. Good pizzas, and the green pepper fillet is excellent. But times change. Last night we ordered a seafood salad with Ascoli olives, buttered spinach, and grilled salmon. Tens of minutes pass, and only the seafood and spinach salad arrives. I ask for the Ascoli olives, but still nothing. I ask again, and they finally arrive, saying they'd lost my order. Meanwhile, I'm getting tired of waiting and losing my appetite for the salmon. I ask, and they tell me they'd lost my order again, this time for the salmon, which I ask them to cancel. I ask for the bill, and what does the waitress do? She brings the bill to my girlfriend instead of me! The service is terrible and makes me lose the desire to eat out. A restaurant in a beautiful location, but it's completely ruined. I recommend trying other restaurants around there; there are plenty.

16/04/2026: I've been getting takeout pizza every week from this restaurant for a couple of years now. In my opinion, it's one of the best in the city center. I've also had the opportunity to eat at the outdoor tables, and the view of the square is beautiful. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and polite. You can tell the owners care deeply about their restaurant, and this is reflected in the staff, who are always impeccable. Recommended for lunch or dinner in the center of Padua!

24/07/2026: I went to try the Vicenza-style cod, since some customers had given it very positive reviews. I was very disappointed because the seasoning was good, but the cod was very firm and dry.

23/05/2026: The hotel is completely run-down and has seen better days. The floor in the room was extremely dirty. The white carpet was stained with dirt. The bathroom was particularly bad. The shower head was completely rusted and the shower was covered in black mold, even on the walls. We always travel in this price range, but I've never experienced such poor hygiene, even when I was younger and had only booked a guesthouse. I certainly wouldn't book there again. The staff was completely inattentive. No one asked if everything was alright. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel.

27/07/2026: Shameful A place stuck in the 80s. We waited an hour and a half for two pasta dishes: pacchero al corbarino made with cherry tomatoes and a horrible seafood and mountain pasta. We didn't even order the second course, so we paid and ran away. Never again.

22/07/2026: Dinner on the terrace: pleasant atmosphere with a splendid view, excellent pizza, and excellent value. Recommended!

22/12/2025: I'll start by saying I've ALWAYS had a good experience and have always told my friends it was a great experience. Unfortunately, yesterday wasn't the case: it was all because of the waiter who served us, who was unprofessional in his manners. For example, he walked past me with his arm around me to serve and I almost wiped my mouth on his black shirt. The wait was biblical. We arrived at 12:30 and finished at 2:45 (we had an appetizer, first course, and coffee). He served me pumpkin pie and I almost found it in my lap. He was spiteful and disrespectful. I told the owners and they apologized: out of respect for you, I recommend you "get rid of him," he's damaging your business. We were there on Sunday the 21st at table 5, so you know who I'm talking about. Best regards.
