19/01/2025: Quando la qualità incontra la passione. Sono pochi ormai i ristoranti che riescono a mantenere un alto standard di qualità proponendo piatti di livello per tecnica, passione e competenza. Se, come in questo caso, proposti a prezzi più che onesti, beh, allora davvero non vedo l’ ora di ritornarci.

24/04/2025: It was ok. I saw a lot of kids eating here when we walked by which is why I decided to stop here. A lot of pizza options too.

24/04/2025: I ate a good pizza, to be clear, not the ones that stick to the plate when you cut them. The environment is a bit dated but I have seen worse. The sore point is having seen the plastic placemat shaken of crumbs when the next customer arrives and I have seen this several times. Not at all hygienic.

14/09/2024: Tuvimos una cena encantadora con asientos exteriores. Mientras que el menú de comida es un poco limitado, la comida que tuvimos era delicioso. 3 de nuestro grupo de 4 tenían la lasaña boloñesa que se servía caliente y era muy ligera a diferencia de la mayoría de las lasaña en los Estados Unidos. La cuarta persona tenía el Spaghetti Carbonara que era excelente también. Si bien los asientos al aire libre están cerca de la calle, el tráfico no restó valor a nuestra experiencia gastronómica. El personal era amable y atento cada vez que los necesitábamos, pero nunca nos sentimos apresurados a terminar. Recomendamos encarecidamente como una opción gastronómica relajada pero deliciosa.

05/09/2024: Fast and welcoming service. Hearty and quality dishes, especially the home fries and Italian sausage. Very good homemade desserts. A stone's throw from the hotel, very practical after a day in Venice.

16/02/2025: Sempre trovato bene. Stasera serata no. Insalata antipasto arrivata 20 minuti dopo. Ad una richiesta mi è stato detto che dovevano tagliarla. La busta. Pizza arrivata con il cuore. Eravamo due maschi. Ordinato un cappuccino, arrivato un caffè. Poi alla cassa ho spiegato e mi hanno abbonato i caffè. Il posto merita ed essendo umani hanno dimostrato la loro umanità. Ma ci tornerò. Non era serata

19/01/2025: Abbiamo pranzato e possiamo dire che il pesce era fresco, i piatti ben presentati e la quantità generosa. Camerieri gentili e veloci nel servizio. Locale da consigliare.

28/04/2025: Food OK. Unfortunately, as soon as the table was cleared with the bill, we were complimented out with the words that time was over (we were the only ones in the outside restaurant area). An additional fee of 2.90 euros per person (Coperto) will be charged. We also noticed that we were charged twice for extra salami instead of once. Unfortunately I discovered this too late.

05/12/2024: Cena in famiglia andata più che bene! Servizio attento, cibo buono e complimenti alla cottura dei bigoli che pur essendo fatti di acqua e farina cuocerli super al dente come piace a noi non era facile! Ha superato le nostre aspettative nonostante si trovi all’interno dell’hotel! Ah dimenticavo l’atmosfera natalizia ha reso il tutto ancora più magico…

07/10/2024: Locale meraviglioso con personale disponibile ed accogliente. Ottimo cibo, splendida terrazza coperta con vista Venezia ed apprezzati spritz.

01/05/2025: Restaurant with large outdoor space. Very characteristic and imaginative in the furnishings inside. Very kind waiters, especially Mr Giorgio who is extremely kind. Fried calamari soft as butter. Excellent first courses served in original pans.

22/04/2025: Unfortunately we booked for June 2nd for lunch and they also confirmed the reservation but unfortunately upon arrival the place was closed. We are coming from Brescia so it was an absurd inconvenience and perhaps warning would have been better given the 2 hour journey to get to Abano. Unfortunately we left and I wouldn't go back given the lack of professionalism

24/03/2025: Para aquellos de nosotros que recordamos los días de gloria de Riviera, esto es un shock grosero. El mágico restaurante antiguo ha tenido un 'cambio de imagen' y ahora se asemeja a una pizzería suburbana. Es una trampa turística cínica y sin alma, con un maitre d' que era complaciente y sin encanto en igual medida. Comida - bueno, pero se esfuerza demasiado con las emulsiones de 1990 y las reducciones untadas en el plato. Tienen vinos por copa pero cuando estuvimos allí solo eran un tinto y un blanco. Los camareros piden servicio a los turistas, lo que siempre es una mala señal. Este es un ejemplo de donde los restaurantes venecianos salen mal - codicioso, complaciente, cínico. Lo cual es una pena porque en su día fue uno de los grandes con una posición envidiable en el Zattere.

19/03/2025: Con su interior sin pretensiones, este es una joya de un restaurante con deliciosa comida, servicio divertido y un poco de una lección sobre la preservación de lo mejor de Venecia lejos de las atracciones turísticas.

25/04/2025: An impeccable location, if you go when the sun has set but it's not yet dark the light is wonderful... the same consideration applies to the restaurant, located on the ground floor of the Castello hotel (4*), all with great attention to detail. Among our choices, the second courses (both fish) were decidedly more convincing than the starter and first course, in terms of presentation, portion and flavour. The big point for improvement that we recommend is on the service: except at the bar counter (where you also pay), from the welcome, to the service in the room, to the attention and kindness towards the customer, all the waiters were quite lacking and disinterested (we even had to call them to order coffee and dessert)... and for the place it is, we expect much more. Average prices.. two courses each, water, coffee and two glasses of wine €95 per couple.. if you choose a lake view you can fit in.

25/04/2025: Very nice and particular place just a step away from the sea or the lagoon in the summer it has an outdoor garden both for dining and for events very friendly and helpful staff suitable for everyone singles families evenings with friends birthdays of all ages in short if you come to the Lido of Venice you have to stop by

14/04/2025: Good pizza, average, nothing special. I ordered through Dolivery (home delivery service), I was sent the wrong pizza by mistake, I called and they promptly resolved it, too bad that since there were two of us, we had to eat at different times.
