23/03/2025: Beautiful place with well-kept furnishings, clean and welcoming, very convenient for the centre, kind and helpful priority, he was able to give us the right indications on where to eat and which wineries to visit, his help was invaluable for excellent experiences. We will be back and really recommend it Vincenzo and Elena

02/03/2025: Wonderful rooms, perfect location. The tub in the room was amazing. The only point is the breakfast is poor compared to the rest. Few croissants, egg and beacon but very good. I would happily stay here again!

26/08/2025: Very snobbish waiter, who obviously let Italians come first. Was directed to a table at the back, and with a gesture, you can sit here. Bad style. Tourists' money is probably as good as locals' The food tasted really good

13/08/2025: Unfortunately, we were misled. Reviews from two years ago and older claim the place serves pasta, pizza, and other Italian delicacies. Upon arrival, we discovered that the waitress asked us to sit inside (because we wanted something to eat). Once inside, a second waitress announced that they didn't have a food menu, only drinks. We only ordered two drinks. Of course, the waitress didn't serve the third because she got the order wrong. The drinks were cheap, though. The waitresses were running around like crazy and ignored us. It's a shame, because we had high hopes after seeing so many positive reviews. The location is very atmospheric and charming, right on the canal.

08/05/2025: Restaurant à éviter. Ce restaurant peut paraître alléchant avec ses prix peu élevé, mais ne tomber surtout pas dans le piège. Les pizzas sont infâmes et donnent mal au ventre. Nous avons prit des pizzas speck et des pâtes carbonara, ne faites pas les mêmes erreurs. Le jambon n'a pas de goût et est digne d'une supérette, la pâte était cramé et certainement surgelé. Les pâtes carbonara étaient trop poivrée et avait mauvais goût. Le chef nous regardait depuis sa cuisine car la porte était entre-ouverte, et l'un des serveurs s'est mis la main dans le caleçon ( et s'est sûrement remis les bourses en place). Franchement n'y aller pas ou votre ventre commencera à vous parler.

02/09/2025: It's a shame about the 25 minute wait for the pizza while other items were served after 10 minutes, it's a shame to forget, but given the usual quality, having a cold calzone inside with the mozzarella not melted is not good, a big disappointment, a bottle of water arrived without glasses, which was pointed out and never brought... given the reputation I would expect something more in terms of service

Personale cordiale e disponibile (avevo avuto un problema che mi ha fatto rischiare di non poter andare a cena, ma mi hanno accolto lo stesso con 40 min di ritardo dalla prenotazione). Noi abbiamo mangiato pesce per cui non posso valutare la carne, ma quello che abbiamo mangiato era molto buono. Il fritto di calamari molto buono, la tagliata di tonno io l’avrei cotta leggermente meno ma comunque era buona. Il vino rosè alla spina non il massimo. Ci siamo trovati tutto sommato bene e il prezzo è stato ragionevole per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Lo consiglio

20/07/2025: Not a positive review at all. We booked Wednesday afternoon for a night between Saturday and Sunday. We arrived Saturday morning around 11:00 and were told to come back in the afternoon because the room wasn't ready. We returned in the afternoon after 4:00 and were told they had no rooms available, so they redirected us to a nearby B&B where we found a modest room with a shared bathroom. Thank you and congratulations for the helpfulness of the B&B managers, but at the Hotel Giglio Rosso there was no excuse for what happened. It was absolutely unacceptable in this day and age, and above all, the rude staff turned their backs on us and walked away when we complained about it, and on top of that, they wanted to charge us the full rate...absolutely unacceptable and disgusting handling of the problem. ABSOLUTELY NEGATIVE REVIEW

24/08/2025: A terrible experience, exhausting to say the least. We almost fell asleep waiting for our dishes. It took at least an hour for my husband's first course and me a second course (roast goat). Service was incredibly slow, and there weren't even many people there. When our dishes finally arrived, another surprise awaited us. I can't even begin to describe the first course...served in a bluish basin...the second course, a poor roast, badly cooked and, in my opinion, had been left for days. Terrible food...We definitely won't be returning.

15/08/2025: Called at the last minute on August 15th for lunch and found a table! However, it took half an hour just to come and take our order. They got my first course order wrong. My husband ate while I watched while they remade my first course. During the nerve-wracking wait, we ate two baskets of bread. They threw everything away with the service.

06/07/2025: Bad experience, … there were 4 of us for lunch, I called saying that we would arrive in 10 minutes at 2.05 pm (on the internet they say closing at 3.00 pm) and everything is ok. I get there and it was already closed … you can see that they don't need to work …

11/06/2025: The summer garden is excellent, the food is impeccable from pizza to meat and fish, the staff is very kind and competent. We will definitely be back

26/03/2025: Muy buena comida, el primer lugar vimos parmesano de berenjena en el menú y estaba delicioso. Las flores de calabacín también eran increíbles! Tengo el lenguado que era bastante bueno, un poco demasiado cocido, pero bueno, mis niñas tienen ñoquis boloñesa que era delicioso.

05/09/2025: We ate at this restaurant after a very interesting excursion 🚶🏻‍♂️ to the nearby Serrai. The quality of the food seemed decidedly good, as was the value for money 👌. The place is perhaps a little dated but is decently decorated. There's probably room for improvement in the service, since one of the waitresses (although very kind) didn't understand a word of Italian 🇮🇹 and made a bit of a mess when ordering. Overall, an absolutely positive review. RECOMMENDED 👍.
