10/06/2025: We went for dinner as a family without a reservation. We got a table right away. The service was very courteous and quick. The food was very good and the price was perfectly reasonable.

04/06/2025: Came across Da Ivo as we were walking and looking for a place to take a break and get some lunch. Clearly NOT your average touristy trattoria! The meal was excellent. The dining room, while quite compact, was beautifully appointed with some marvelous glass work on the light fixtures. My only complaint is the 'suggestions' by our waiter. We started out saying we wanted something light, maybe a beef carpaccio and a fresh salad. We ended up with a shrimp carpaccio, a prawn and fennel salad, and some deep fried soft shell crabs. Delicious. But I couldn't help but feel we were being steered to what he wanted us to buy, not buy what we had in mind. If we go back, a real possibility, I will take the controls!

Prezzo un po' sopra le righe per la qualità media del cibo

30/05/2025: We ordered a capriciosa pizza, and honestly, we expected more. It wasn't bad, but it's not what you expect when you're in Italy. The service was good, with friendly and attentive staff. We were surprised when it came to paying; they added a few euros extra for one of the drinks and for the cutlery. You always expect that what the menu says is what you get. This way, you avoid leaving with a strange feeling.

09/06/2025: I found this restaurant by chance online and called to ask if take-out was possible and even though it wasn't, they made an exception. They were super friendly and the mixed fry was more than excellent and accompanied us on our way home from Jesolo. I recommend it!!

02/05/2025: On May 1st we booked a restaurant at midday and went to Chioggia: a nightmare! Arriving at 12.45, after an endless queue we were unable to find a parking space. In the end we had to cancel the reservation in the center but at 2pm we were in the car wandering aimlessly (and parking) on ​​the outskirts of Chioggia near the beach. The reviews of the Garibaldi restaurant were good so we called them even though we were aware of the opening hours and almost hopeless. They welcomed us last minute and without a reservation, even though they were already fully booked, and did their best to make up for our bad impression of the city's logistics. Excellent food, impeccable service and great courtesy from the owner. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy excellent fish in a friendly but also sophisticated environment. Then we went to see the sea and thanks to them we spent a pleasant May 1st with the family.

06/06/2025: The food we had was pretty good but nothing special. The price is good. The place seems to specialise in Pizza Bianche and if I was to go again I would probably order one of these because for me the biggest disappointment was the lack of flavour in the tomato sauce. A nice selection of toppings and decent dough for sure. The place has a nice, traditional atmosphere with plenty of locals. The pizzas do seem to have a genuinely good reputation in the city.

04/06/2025: Had a lovely time here. The staff were very kind and entertained our poor Italian. Lots of choice for pizza here, from standard options to more adventurous types. The food and drink was very reasonably priced too, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Do not miss out on the desserts here- they were phenomenal! Look out for the lemon one in particular. Delicious.

11/05/2025: Local chosen for its fame. On one of the busiest and most tourist streets, internal room, upper room and external tables. I give it high marks because everything went well: tourist welcome, elegantly rustic environment, but... that difference is missing to make it, in my opinion, as top-notch as it is acted. Good dishes, new and tasty combinations, perhaps too much, for example risotto with amarone was overloaded with parmesan. Little choice on the menu, friendly tourist service. Among the restaurants chosen, we expected something more that would distinguish it. Here, it leaves a bit of "amarone" in the mouth, given the considerable investment.

03/05/2025: Quite elegant central restaurant with traditional dishes. Very good wines. Very friendly and helpful staff.. sore point.. a little too expensive. Do you pay for the position... or maybe the wine even if by the glass? Perhaps. Do I recommend it? I do not know. For that price perhaps you can aspire to something more that enchants the taste buds.
