But what will definitely make us return isn't just the food (already excellent), but the incredibly friendly and kind staff. They make you feel right at home, always with a smile and a joke. This is THE birthplace of tiramisu, and if you are in Treviso, this is the one place you absolutely must visit. I came all the way from Singapore, as tiramisu is my favorite dessert in the world. Unfortunately, on the day of my visit, the shop was closed for renovations. I was heartbroken, but then something incredible happened. One of the chefs, Paolo, saw me standing outside and, with incredible kindness, invited me in. Even though the shop was closed, he served me a perfect slice of their tiramisu. It was light, airy, and truly perfect—undoubtedly the most delicious tiramisu I have ever eaten. You can taste the history and passion in every spoonful. It's clear that the creators of this wonderful dish, now loved worldwide, poured their hearts into it. What happened next speaks volumes about the warmth and generosity of the staff. When it came time to pay, Paolo graciously refused to accept any money, despite our insistence. It was a beautiful example of Italian hospitality and a moment I will never forget. Paolo, thank you so much for making this trip so special for me and my family. This was more than just a dessert; it was a perfect, unforgettable experience to end our Italian trip. Ciao!

05/10/2025: Beautiful location, excellent service, and good food. The tagliolini cacio e pepe are truly special! Prices are average for this type of restaurant. I was, however, disappointed by the much-vaunted tiramisu! It's more like a parfait with cream—a real shame!

12/10/2025: The atmosphere, service, and food were fantastic. The city center is fun but very busy and it was nice to cross the River and quickly find a nice quiet spot. The back courtyard is so charming, and unpretentious. The food felt familiar but also surprising (in a wonderful way)!

04/10/2025: A small, welcoming restaurant run by young people, with limited seating. It consists of an indoor dining room and an outdoor area under a pergola. The menu features dishes reminiscent of Veronese cuisine. The waitress was very helpful in explaining the composition and origins of the dishes. A small appetizer was offered, and the plating and preparation were meticulously done. Definitely worth a try. The average prices are lower than those in the city center, but the quality and attention to detail are certainly greater.

21/09/2025: Excellent dinner in a truly lovely and relaxing setting just steps from the lake shore, with friendly and helpful staff. I had tagliatelle with trout and zucchini for starters, delicious!

22/06/2025: We were at Ristorante Vignal on Saturday evening with four of us, and what can I say... a truly impeccable experience from every point of view. From our arrival we were welcomed in a warm, elegant but at the same time familiar atmosphere. The staff was extraordinary: kindness, availability and professionalism at the highest levels, always present but never intrusive. We ordered an appetizer and a second course each, and every dish was a joy for the palate: very fresh ingredients, careful presentation and simply perfect cooking of the meat. A special praise also for the selection of wines: we relied on their advice and they suggested a wine that turned out to be exceptional, paired perfectly with our dishes. It is rare to find a place where everything, really everything, works so well: food, service, atmosphere. A restaurant that makes you feel pampered from start to finish. We will definitely be back and we recommend it wholeheartedly. Congratulations to all the staff at Vignal! 👏🍷🍽️

The service from Roberto, the owner, was impeccable...very attentive and not at all intrusive. The courses were breathtaking, from start to finish! The focus was on high-quality local products, the excellent dishes were served with plating that showcased them and made them a delight to look at, and there was a wide variety of options and pairings.
