08/08/2025: An insider tip. Unassuming from the outside until you step into the garden. A very cozy spot, if you ignore the occasional honking of the commuter boats. Jack gave us some advice on how to have a fish, a wine, and anything else off the menu on the table. Excellent quality.

30/07/2025: A nice trattoria right on the canal (and on the main tourist street between Santa Lucia and San Marco). The outdoor seating is a surprise and, of course, pleasant. The food was good quality and reasonably priced. The service was rather mediocre.

25/07/2025: It was wonderful! Two adults and two children were there today! The table placement was a bit bumpy, but after that, it was wonderful! The waiter was great. The manager was great too. The manager could have been a bit more talkative. The food was excellent!

26/06/2025: In front of the Basilicata of Sant'Antonio da Padova, a hotel with renovated rooms, a good three-star hotel, I only slept for five nights, I also changed rooms, because I didn't know how many nights I had to stay in Padua, friendly staff though, the first four nights €60 + €2.50 tourist tax, the fifth €50 + €2.50 tourist tax, I asked for explanations and they told me, after a series of questions, that they had made a mistake and that renovated rooms cost €10 more, I didn't ask for a renovated room anyway, both rooms had been recently renovated, I think they should ask the customer if he wants a renovated room or an unrenovated one and maybe they should also communicate the price difference, I'll tell you more, during the first check-in, I asked if I could save something, a single for €60 plus tourist tax in a three-star hotel, it seems a bit of an exaggerated price and instead, the employee who checked me in told me that the price was that, €60. Now I wonder, do they make room prices based on the sympathy of a customer? Maybe the first one was unpleasant while the second one was nicer!!!

06/07/2025: Perfect location on the beautiful harbor of Cisano. We had a lovely triple room with a balcony and a lake view. The room had everything we needed: a TV, air conditioning, a fan, a decent closet, a desk, and a refrigerator. The bathroom was new. Breakfast was very good, and it was always quickly refilled. The park with the pool was simply amazing, located in front of the lake; simply a dream. The town of Cisano is a pleasant place with a bit of activity, but not as crowded as Bardolino or Lazise. Both towns are a 20-minute walk along the lake promenade. The hotel's restaurant, with external management, is highly recommended. The food was amazing. We had a lovely, relaxing few days in Cisano. We would gladly return.

27/07/2025: Extremely Disappointing Experience – Disrespectful Treatment Toward Our Vietnamese Tour Group We were a group of 17 Vietnamese tourists (plus our tour guide, totaling 18 people) who dined at Ristorante Isola di Caprera at Via Marsilio da Padova, 11, 35139 Padova PD, Italy on July 26th, 2025. Unfortunately, our experience was unpleasant, uncomfortable, and borderline discriminatory. Despite having a reservation through our tour, we were seated at the far end of the restaurant, away from other customers. While that might seem normal to some, it was clear that our group was being segregated, while smaller groups of local guests were seated in more central and visible spots. What made things worse: • Plates were not cleared between courses. Dishes started stacking up, leaving us with no space for new plates, and no server came to help. In the end, our group had to clear the plates ourselves during entree to make space for dessert, which is absolutely unacceptable in a restaurant setting. • The service was inattentive and indifferent. It felt like we were a burden to the staff rather than valued guests. • For dessert, tiramisu portions were given unevenly. Some of us received full servings, while others got noticeably smaller or messier portions, with no explanation or care from the staff. • Most of the group does not speak English, and only I and the tour guide could communicate. Instead of showing patience or kindness, the staff behaved coldly and dismissively, which made the group feel extremely unwelcome. It was heartbreaking to see my group treated this way in a country they dreamed of visiting. Many of them were excited for their first time in Italy, but after this dinner, they felt hurt and humiliated. This experience left a lasting negative impression and we do not recommend this restaurant to non-local or Asian guests, especially those traveling in tour groups. No one deserves to be made to feel lesser in a public place, especially not while traveling.

30/07/2025: A nice place with a courtyard. We went here for dinner because we thought it looked nice, as it had a courtyard. The food and service were excellent. The menu was extensive, and that was about it. In short: a nice place, but nothing special.

30/07/2025: If you go to Lazise, enjoy a good lunch or dinner at Giuly's. Politeness and courtesy are the watchwords.

29/07/2025: Went here last night with my wife and son (18 years old). We ordered 3 fillet steaks medium (25 euros apiece), and 3 lots of fries (another 5 euros apiece) along with drinks. 2 of the 3 steaks arrived in a reasonable time, my steak arrived 10 minutes behind everyone else. Obviously I told my wife and son to start without me, the guy offered to warm my cold fries up. All steaks weren’t of fillet quality (25 euros apiece) and every steak was well done or more even though we asked for medium (my son even left half of his as it was too chewy). I told the man there about all the issues and all we were offered was a shot of limoncello - which we declined. No discount or anything, no apology. What a waste of 113 euros.

25/07/2025: Unfortunately, we weren't lucky with the ambiance at this restaurant. The small, nice restaurant in the alleyway near Garda was very tempting. However, it's still more show than substance. The menu was in all three languages, and there was also vegetarian food. But since we thought the prices were a bit higher, it must be good. We all had a pasta starter, and for the main course, we had fish with side dishes. My friend told me that the spaghetti à la carbonara was made by a 90-year-old German housewife. Unfortunately, the side dishes were completely over the top. The potatoes were cold from yesterday and had only been quickly warmed up in the microwave. We complained about this, and it was taken off the bill, but unfortunately, it didn't make the overall result any better. €150 for this dinner was, unfortunately, way too much. I recommend a table with a sea view. Then at least you have a beautiful view at the end.

13/07/2025: Central place, well priced with a wide range of dishes and at an affordable and competitive price for the area. The place is very curious though, decorated in a typical Venetian style but with Spanish music. The pasta dishes are recommended, especially the spaghetti alla busera (a bit spicy), the duck and truffle ravioli are very good. We didn't like the scallops very much... I think they would have been better simply grilled and without tomato or breadcrumbs, even so the scallop seemed fresh. The tiramisu was good. Value for money it is a very good place to go and recommended.

09/07/2025: When you see the locals get in there to eat, you know it was the right choice even before start eating. The food was very very good, the best restaurant we ate on our roadtrip through italy. Even the simplest dishes were very delicious! BEST SPOT TO EAT IN VENEZIA AND WHO KNOWS IN ITALY.

13/08/2025: We ate very well, good food but extremely high prices that don't match the dishes. The wines were also very expensive. In Verona, you can eat just as well for half the price.

11/08/2025: We were there in a larger group of 10 people before a performance at the arena. We had made a reservation. The service and food were excellent! The price/performance ratio and atmosphere were perfect!

25/07/2025: Everything was excellent, perhaps the best spaghetti allo scoglio I've seen in recent times.

24/07/2025: A divine, heavenly, fantastic taste experience, a great place. The waiters were kind and ready despite all the work, great and thank you, it will be an experience that I will try again soon.

03/08/2025: Was really hoping this place would live up to the reviews but sadly not. Amazing location but they massively trade on that as the food was hugely disappointing. We had one pizza arrive 30 minutes before any other food. Carbonara had chunks of egg white in it and wasn't really edible, and it was another 10 minutes after the carbonara that the final dish arrived. Plus the sneaky 2.50 euro per person extra charge added on at the end (and that was as well as a 10% service charge!) Beautiful view, below par food. Disappointing first meal out for our family holiday. A real shame as the location is stunning.

03/08/2025: We were actually sat relatively quickly seeing as we didnt have a reservation. After the 1st pizza arived we had to wait about 30 minutes for a carbonara (which had egg pieces in it? Im no master chef but what?) And a fish. Then, after another 5 minutes i finally got complementary bread rolls. Not my spaghetti, just bread. And finally, when i got my spaghetti, it had about a teaspoon of sauce. :( (breadrolls kept me going)

25/04/2025: È stagione dell'asparago bianco di Bassano D.o.p. e a me piace moltissimo, quindi cosa fare per gustarlo in tutte le salse? Beh ovviamente prendere la loro degustazione asparagi. Non l'avevo mai provata e devo dire che è stato un percorso soddisfacente! Dalla prima portata all'ultima, Le fettuccine asparagi erano la fine del mondo, finto riso pure anche gli asparagi e uova conditi come li condiva mio nonno!! bravi i cuochi che hanno saputo creare ottimi piatti semplici ma mai banali, bravi i camerieri che hanno saputo valorizzare ogni portata con una piccola spiegazione senza mai ubriacarci di parole, vino consigliato all'altezza delle portate, prezzo in linea con il cibo, servizio e per il posto. avevamo il tavolo con la vista su Bassano ed è stata una coccola anche quella. bellissima serata ! buon cibo, buon vino e bella compagnia! bravi!
