28/12/2025: We stopped by for an afternoon merenda and enjoyed dessert with coffee. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I ordered the mousse alle castagne, which was really good and perfectly suited for a cozy afternoon treat. The atmosphere can get a bit noisy, but it didn’t take away from the experience. We still enjoyed our time there.

18/02/2026: This restaurant is way overpriced for what it offers. The octopus, served as a main course, was the size of an appetizer, which doesn't justify the price at all. As for the beef rib, the waiter didn't ask any questions and brought it without warning onto a hot griddle. The result was that the food splashed everywhere, ruining everyone's clothes. This service method isn't listed on the menu, and the staff doesn't warn you in advance: they simply set the plate down in front of you and leave. Furthermore, the waiter didn't bother to ask how done you wanted it. He brought the meat completely raw and then even seemed annoyed, claiming we should have told him. He clearly confused the roles, because it's the staff who should ask, not the customer who has to specify. The meat was not only raw, but also flavorless: a sprig of rosemary certainly wasn't enough to save it. Another problem is the organization of the service. Dishes are not served simultaneously, so it's normal for one person to have finished eating while another is still waiting for their dish. I've visited the restaurant several times, so this isn't an isolated incident, but a recurring problem. I don't recommend this place. The quality of the food is very poor, and for the same price, you can eat much better in the surrounding area.

06/01/2026: I stopped at this restaurant for a business dinner and the experience was truly excellent. I ate truly well, with carefully prepared, high-quality dishes. Special praise goes to the owner Gerardo and his sister Deborah, who are friendly, attentive, and professional, and who know how to put guests at ease. The service is beyond excellent, attentive but never intrusive. The wine selection is also excellent, well-thought out and able to satisfy a wide range of tastes. A place I recommend without hesitation, whether for business or pleasure. I will definitely be back.

21/07/2025: Appena entrati nella ristorante Sud di Riva del Garda, ci si sente subito avvolti dall'atmosfera calda e accogliente del sud Italia. I tavoli in legno, le decorazioni colorate e l'odore delizioso dei piatti tipici ci hanno trasportato in un viaggio sensoriale. Lo staff è stato davvero fantastico: carino e cordiale, con quel tocco tipico del sud che rende l'accoglienza ancora più speciale. Abbiamo assaggiato diverse specialità e ogni morso era un'esplosione di sapori autentici. La pizza era semplicemente deliziosa, con ingredienti freschi e una pasta perfetta, mentre gli antipasti ci hanno fatto sognare di essere in una trattoria sul lungomare. Inoltre, ho apprezzato molto la pulizia del locale, che lo rende perfetto anche per famiglie numerose. Se cercate un posto dove gustare piatti squisiti e sentirvi come a casa, ristorante Sud è assolutamente super consigliata! Assolutamente da tornare

19/09/2025: We stayed at the Schloss Hotel Korb for our honeymoon. We had indicated in writing in advance that we would like to spend it there. Unfortunately, nothing had been arranged. At breakfast, we discovered that other tables had been specially decorated. The situation was, of course, extremely unfortunate. What was really good: - Breakfast/dinner and the service (a very friendly, "on-the-ball" waiter) - The meal was really enjoyable - The main building, as well as the restaurant, are really chic and beautifully decorated What was unfortunately disappointing: - Both outdoor pools were in very poor condition (severe discoloration, peeling film, etc.) - The room is no longer of an acceptable standard (considering the hotel's classification and the price). Baseboards were broken, the curtains had stains, etc., and the furnishings seemed mismatched. - Information (general hotel information) about the hotel and the surrounding area was virtually nonexistent. Overall, I have to say that some of the recent reviews quite rightly emphasize the condition of the rooms and the outdoor area. It's a real shame, because the hotel has real potential. And we can't really recommend it. Nevertheless, the friendly receptionist was helpful at the end of our stay, which we really appreciated. Thank you again!

18/09/2025: Just a stroll, not a visit to the hotel. But it's a classic car meeting place. There were a few treasures and a new McLaren in the garage.

04/01/2026: We went to Brixen specifically to stay at this hotel, and to dine in its Michelin starred restaurant. While we were not overall disappointed, we would have expected a little bit better. This historic establishment has a marvelous location and the building itself is quite like a museum when it comes to history, arts and furnishing. We stayed in the main building, in standard rooms. The rooms are clean, but really basic. The bathrooms were very small and showed some wear and tear. Very few amenities (no shampoo, nor conditioner, just shower gel and body lotion). The Spa is well advertised on their website and I was expecting something a bit better. The sauna was small, with little information about the "dress code" (some people were nude, others weren't), the wet sauna was turned off. I was told there is water available, and I am sure there is, but I couldn't find it. Most spas also offer herbal teas, which was not the case here. The pool area with loungers is nice. The pool is lightly heated. I disliked the fitness room. It is extremely small. I gather it might have been a cellar as the ceilings are very low and vaulted - which doesn't make it for it being airy enough to feel confortable. There is only a tredmill, a bike, a bench and a few dumbells. Regardless: you wouldn't want to exercise heavily in that space. No water in the fitness room - no towels either. The best part of the experience is the breakfast buffet and the overall service. Breakfst offers a bounty of options - both sweet and savory- of outstanding quality. Service is impeccable. I think you pay for the history, the location and the (past) reputation of the establishment. I have been in 4 stars (this is a 4 stars + according to their ad) that provided a more comfortable stay, better facilities for a lower price. I understand that might not be the case in Brixen, but some standards should be quite universal. That being said, I don't regret going there.

20/12/2025: ​The communication here is extremely poor. They respond instantly to inquiries that benefit them, but completely ignore messages regarding issues or refund requests. I was told they were too busy with emails to reply to my urgent request, yet they replied within minutes only after I mentioned leaving a review. Highly unprofessional and unreliable service.

29/06/2025: Cena informale con la mia compagna ed un amico. Posto non facilissimo da trovare ma messo in posizione strategica ed aperto su di una piazzetta davvero carina. Menù semplice con poche portate, come piace a me: indice di qualità e freschezza delle materie prime. Abbiamo ordinato degli antipasti, dei primi piatti e dei dolci. Buona scelta di vini al calice con il cameriere molto preparato nel illustrarli e consigliarli. È una trattoria, quindi regna la semplicità ma nel piatto abbiamo trovato qualità e raffinatezza degne di ristoranti ben più blasonati. Riassumendo: buona location, cibo eccellente, buon servizio, rapporto qualità/prezzo Ottimo. Ci torneremo di sicuro per provare i secondi piatti. Consigliatissimo

20/04/2025: Poco prima di Pasqua, è l'occasione per rincontrare un carissimo vecchio amico che ci viene incontro da Milano. Gironzolando per Trento ci viene fame e prenotiamo qua, incuriositi anche dalle ottime recensioni lette. Servizio accogliente, pulito, gentile e rapido. La cucina è davvero ottima, abbiamo potuto cogliere l'occasione di gustare le specialità a base di asparagi, vista anche la stagione prozia. Mi sento di poterla consigliare con assoluta fiducia. Auguri a tutti di buone vacanze pasquali, ma anche di buon viaggio e di buon appetito. MB

10/01/2026: I don't understand what the delivery pizza chef is doing. Every time we order, he makes us a German-style Margherita, a ton of it and mozzarella, and you can't even see the sauce. Disappointing. Then you order a Margherita at the restaurant on Via Gote, with a little more mozzarella and a very soft dough, it's truly Neapolitan pizza. But the takeaway pizzeria makes a Margherita, and putting less mozzarella at Naples is shocking. They don't even put mozzarella at Naples, or mozzarella at Naples!!!!

06/01/2026: 2 years ago the pizza and even the fried food were delicious, now they are inedible, rubbery pizza and the pizza maker who I complimented is no longer there...disappointed

11/01/2026: Best pizza we've ever eaten!!! Anyone complaining about a pizza that's too pale and soggy should specify how they want their pizza when ordering.

30/12/2025: Very nice and traditional restaurant, with a very kind and helpful owner. We found it by chance while wandering around the Christmas markets, and we absolutely didn't regret it. We had excellent goulash soup and goulash with polenta, which we definitely recommend. Prices were in line with market prices. Carne salada with beans, perhaps a little overcooked, but good.
