18/08/2026: For the price, it was okay, and right by the lake. We got a spot immediately without a reservation. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated. They aren't cleaned daily, but you can shower as long as you want without having to pay extra. All in all, it was quite good.

18/08/2026: Great location, close to the beach, available for one-night rentals; we managed to find a spot during peak season. The restrooms are cute, nothing special.

12/08/2026: Fast friendly service. The pizza was delicious but the pizza dough itself was not crispy. More like wrinkled.

12/08/2026: We ordered online; the delivery took a while, but the food was delicious. The lady even called me about my order because they were missing something.

22/09/2025: Very nice accommodation with great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The room was modern and very clean. The bathroom was also top-notch and very clean. The pizza was excellent, and overall, the pizzeria with the millstones had a very nice atmosphere. Why only 4 stars? Because we always needed a car to get to our planned vacation destinations. But if you want to explore the nature park, this is an excellent place to stay. We would still be happy to come back, just with different destinations :-)

21/03/2026: Delicious sandwiches and truly excellent ingredients. The vegetarian sandwich (they also have a vegan option) with a homemade burger made with seasonal vegetables is also very good!

06/02/2026: Very good food, well-made, satisfying sandwiches with quality ingredients. Very friendly staff. A little pricey, but worth it. I'll be back.

20/06/2026: The presentation of the place is good. The problem is that they don't know how to make fish. We ordered mussels, which unfortunately weren't cleaned properly, pasta with calamari, and baby octopus, which weren't cleaned properly either. Luckily, the flavor was all good. The calzone we ordered was basically a pizza folded in half, but it was good, and the fries were among the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, we ordered tiramisu, the worst I've ever had. There was no mascarpone, just cream/cheese (impossible to tell since it tasted horrible), and the biscuit was watered down. At 7.50 each, I would never give them that price. In the end, we paid for 6 covers for 5 people.

04/01/2026: We went to Brixen specifically to stay at this hotel, and to dine in its Michelin starred restaurant. While we were not overall disappointed, we would have expected a little bit better. This historic establishment has a marvelous location and the building itself is quite like a museum when it comes to history, arts and furnishing. We stayed in the main building, in standard rooms. The rooms are clean, but really basic. The bathrooms were very small and showed some wear and tear. Very few amenities (no shampoo, nor conditioner, just shower gel and body lotion). The Spa is well advertised on their website and I was expecting something a bit better. The sauna was small, with little information about the "dress code" (some people were nude, others weren't), the wet sauna was turned off. I was told there is water available, and I am sure there is, but I couldn't find it. Most spas also offer herbal teas, which was not the case here. The pool area with loungers is nice. The pool is lightly heated. I disliked the fitness room. It is extremely small. I gather it might have been a cellar as the ceilings are very low and vaulted - which doesn't make it for it being airy enough to feel confortable. There is only a tredmill, a bike, a bench and a few dumbells. Regardless: you wouldn't want to exercise heavily in that space. No water in the fitness room - no towels either. The best part of the experience is the breakfast buffet and the overall service. Breakfst offers a bounty of options - both sweet and savory- of outstanding quality. Service is impeccable. I think you pay for the history, the location and the (past) reputation of the establishment. I have been in 4 stars (this is a 4 stars + according to their ad) that provided a more comfortable stay, better facilities for a lower price. I understand that might not be the case in Brixen, but some standards should be quite universal. That being said, I don't regret going there.

20/12/2025: ​The communication here is extremely poor. They respond instantly to inquiries that benefit them, but completely ignore messages regarding issues or refund requests. I was told they were too busy with emails to reply to my urgent request, yet they replied within minutes only after I mentioned leaving a review. Highly unprofessional and unreliable service.

11/08/2026: Food okay, but the price-performance ratio of the children's meal is outrageous. We ate here recently. The food for the adults was quite alright, although the pizza unfortunately used canned or jarred mushrooms instead of fresh ones. However, we were really disappointed with the children's meal: We ordered a small portion of pasta with tomato sauce for our child. What was served was a truly tiny portion. The unpleasant surprise came with the bill: Only €1 was deducted from the regular main course price (€14). In other words, we paid €13 for a minuscule children's portion of pasta with tomato sauce. A discount of just €1 for a fraction of the normal amount is completely incomprehensible and very family-unfriendly. We found it outrageously excessive. What a shame!

26/05/2026: I took a group of 12 lovely, polite students to this establishment for a quick ice cream as an end-of-year treat. We were greeted with the most negative of attitudes (eye rolls all round) from a very grumpy server who told us in an extremely unfriendly manner that we couldn't sit down despite a table being free (even though I explained we had to be back at school in 15 mins max). We understood, as it was a busy time, but we didn't appreciate the rudeness and barky tone. It could have been said in a much nicer way. The same member of staf didn't once give aa much as a please or thank you to my far-too-polite students. In fact, they were treated with nothing short of disdain. I opted to forgo my ice cream as there was no way she was getting any of my hard-earned cash with that attitude. Imagine selling about 30 euros worth of ice cream in less than 5 minutes and not even having the decency to show basic manners to the people contributing to your day's takings. 23/06/2026: I stopped by on Saturday evening with my girlfriend to get a Vegetarian takeout (I'd been there a while ago). Not only was it excellent, tasty, and wonderful on the palate... but it made me want to order another one right away! Wonderful! And I'm very picky about the quality of pizza. I'll definitely be back soon, because it's not just pizza, it's a pizza EXPERIENCE! Unique in Trento. It makes you forget all the other pizzas downtown. Once you try it, you'll want to stay there all night, especially because the atmosphere is so welcoming and friendly. And they didn't pay me to write this: I'm speaking from experience.

06/03/2026: Reservations are a must. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, the service top-notch. The food is out of this world. There's a cigar room next to the main dining room to enjoy a whiskey and a smoke, if you need it.

05/08/2026: We wanted to have an ice cream sundae in the summer and chose the Coppa Fragolosa for €10 from the menu. It was supposed to include strawberry and lemon ice cream with whipped cream, strawberries, and a strawberry topping. What we received was an ice cream sundae with strawberry and lemon ice cream, whipped cream, and cherry sauce. Unfortunately, communication with the staff was somewhat difficult. There was no apology. Only when we paid and pointed out that we weren't going to pay full price for something we hadn't received did they offer us a discount.
