02/09/2023: Friendly staff. However, even young staff cannot speak a word of English and do not make any effort to do so. Pizzas are tasty. My partner was the only one who ordered dessert and then I also got dessert without ordering it. Pizzas are not expensive, drinks are pricey (coke is 4 euros). When paying, the bill turned out to be incorrect. We found this out later (charged 3 euros too much), so make sure you don't get ripped off as a tourist.

01/04/2024: We would wholly recommend Spino Fiorito following our enjoyable stay for a few days in early March. Our traditional room had a comfortable bed and if you enjoy fine food then you will appreciate Gianfranco's cooking and Davide's service, it was first class. We requested vegetarian food for dinner and we haven't tasted better anywhere. Anne & Tim Exeter, England. March 2024. 06/04/2024: Painful experience. I had dinner in this trattoria trying the pilgrim dish that was advertised in the restaurant window. The quantity of food was miserably small, two cubes of cheese, two slices of salami, two of coppa and a slice of another cured meat, and there wasn't even an abundance of bread. In Lunigiana you can eat well in many places, in Pontremoli itself there is a good choice of trattorias. To be avoided.

01/01/2024: PRANZO DI NATALE . ATTESE INTERMINABILI . ORGANIZZAZIONE PESSIMA . DURATA CIRCA 5 ORE , NONOSTANTE L'IMPEGNO DEL PERSONALE DI SALA. NESSUN PIATTO DECENTE . IN PIU' UN CAPELLO NELLA ZUPPA .

18/10/2023: We went to this restaurant for the evening that the center of Carrara wanted to dedicate to mushrooms (Saturday 23 September), all the restaurants offered either a fixed themed menu or additional mushroom-based dishes in addition to the à la carte menu. We chose this restaurant both out of curiosity to try their cuisine and because (luckily for the city) it was really difficult to find a seat that evening. The restaurant menu was fixed, all mushroom-based dishes as per the theme of the evening, the meat sashimi starter with mushrooms was good, the first crepes with mushrooms and cheese, the second tagliatelle with mushrooms... here's the sore point ... you can't put just one slice of cut meat on the plate... it was enough to put three and the evening would have been top marks. However, we did not satisfy our curiosity and we will soon return to the restaurant to taste the dishes from the à la carte menu because the basics for eating well are all there, the dishes were all really good but that small slice of cut on the plate....

16/03/2024: Abbiamo pranzato con amici, antipasto per 3 misero e carissimo uno spaghetto lardo e asparagi buono ma niente di particolare grossa delusione per il dolce che non era per niente Goloso una torta al limone anonima, il ristorante molto carino e ben tenuto il proprietario gentile ma per 31 euro a testa con acqua un po di vino non lo consiglierei

02/12/2023: Excellent drink, too bad I saw beers and cocktails served in wine glasses (with a lot of foam) ->1 Star. Go with dinner already because you will still be hungry... food reduced to a minimum. A few appetizers and insufficient platters compared to the number of people present... 25 euros each.. -> 1 Star Ah, the heat-producing mushroom went out but was not turned back on despite requests.. -> 1 Star. A heartfelt thank you to the waitress/cashier who, despite my request to pay for what I had consumed, replied: "ehh, you know! At birthdays, there are those who fare better and those who fare worse!" If he hadn't made this unfortunate exit I would have saved myself the review. A thousand thanks!

02/12/2023: Da Maurizio al Farfarello non si scherza e così ogni qualvolta che torniamo in zona noi vogliamo trattarci bene. La cucina di mare è sfiziosa e ricercata seppur con piatti alla base della tradizione. L'ambiente è conviviale ed intimo (nelle stagioni fredde il locale ti accoglie e ti ristora come pochi altri) e Maurizio con simpatia, garbo ed esperienza è un oste perfetto sempre attento affinché al cliente non manchi nulla. Non a caso il locale ormai ha una vita pluridecennale a Marina di Massa. La qualità e la lavorazione dei piatti è ineccepibile pertanto detto tutto ciò consigliamo vivamente una visita al Farfarello! Un saluto a Maurizio e allo staff da Laura e Carlo e un arrivederci a presto!

23/11/2023: Ancora una volta si dimostra il miglior ristorante di Marina di Massa. Anche in bassa stagione la qualità è ai massimi livelli. Marco in cucina non si smentisce mai. Da provare.

31/03/2024: The restaurant is located in the historic center of Pontremoli. The restaurant has a few tables in a quiet and characteristic environment. You eat under a stone vault. The staff are friendly but the times today were exaggerated. They apologized and for which I understand them but sitting at 1.10pm we gave instructions on the choices to the 15 we saw two first courses at 1.40pm while the other two first courses we waited another 15 minutes. They ask us if we want dessert, we say yes. They don't take reservations and then show up 15 minutes later and so to avoid taking too long we ask for two coffees which arrive after 10 minutes.

12/01/2024: The food is excellent, homemade and traditional menu but excellent dishes. Perhaps the environment is a bit neglected.

07/03/2024: Alessio and his team make the difference. We went to Colonnata to celebrate something special, in the evening at Venanzio's it was the icing on the cake, excellent food, accuracy and courtesy from the waiter, top environment for the place we stayed in. How can you not fall in love with Colonnata? Thanks guys we will be back soon!!

03/03/2024: I celebrated my 46th birthday here in this restaurant for lunch and I immediately enjoyed it... I'll start by saying that I had never been there but after looking at the reviews on the internet, a bit recommended by friends, I was convinced to try and I must say everything was perfect. Friendly, clean and familiar environment. Good food, I recommend a tasting menu, you get everything.. 5 starters, two first courses and two second courses.. 😄 Tasty, light, tasty dishes.. At the end of lunch we were full but not overflowing.. You leave the table without feeling hungry and you're fine.. Personal opinion 👍😁. We will definitely be back, my family and I. Recommended to everyone 💪 fair prices, on average.. From 40 to 50 euros each including drinks. The choice of wine can vary the final price, also because their wine list is well assorted 👍

05/08/2023: I don't know about the cafeteria level but as a UPS service it's really mediocre, it doesn't respect the times indicated in the window, it doesn't update the times on the website, found it closed 3 times when the time says it's open!!

12/02/2024: Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. L'antipasto eccellente e abbondante, molto delicato e molto curato. Ottime anche le penne agli scampi. Il prezzo giusto. Il servizio perfetto. L'ambiente accogliente e pulitissimo

01/01/2024: Cenone di Capodanno. Antipasti abbastanza buoni come pure il dolce con amaretto. Pessima la pasta con astice, molto liquida con gusci di astice senza polpa. Non mi sono piaciuti nemmeno i gamberi affogati in una salsa. A mezzanotte ci portano una bottiglia di spumante, senza niente da mangiare, senza cambiare i bicchieri sporchi utilizzati durante il pasto e inadatti per le bollicine; mi aspettavo almeno un pezzetto di panettone. A mezzanotte e dieci tutto finito.
