Amazing sandwiches. As an Arezzo native, I can guarantee the quality and quantity you often see in photos. Just steps from the Basilica of San Francesco, in Piazza della Badia. Whenever out-of-town friends come to visit, I always bring them here: we grab a sandwich and eat it in the square together with a nice beer! <3

Spectacular porchetta sandwich. You can even choose the type of bread and create your own custom sandwich. Since it's a shop, everything is fresh and locally sourced. Highly recommended. Don't be fooled by the small places downtown that sell frozen products.

If you're looking for something less demanding while in the center of Arezzo, I recommend Dal Moro's schiacciata farcita. They can be filled with a variety of cured meats, some of which are made on-site. There are a few high tables and chairs available in the space in front of the restaurant for you to enjoy your choice.

Extremely friendly and welcoming, the ingredients are high-quality (many of their own cured meats) and there's a huge selection of breads to choose from (Tuscan rolls and schiacciata, soft, crunchy, whole wheat, etc.).
I'd also add—but it's not an insignificant detail—that the prices are unbeatable, especially considering the quality and size of the rolls.
