26/06/2025: We discovered the restaurant spontaneously. The food was delicious, and the staff and chef were very friendly. Overall, it was very pleasant and highly recommended! Traditional and unpretentious. We felt very comfortable. Highly recommended!

02/07/2025: Un restaurante local con un ambiente relajado y agradable. El camarero fue muy servicial, recomendando vinos y explicando los platos. Incluso nos contó sobre un espectáculo de fuegos artificiales que tendría lugar esa misma noche. La comida era sabrosa y fresca a precios razonables. Lo recomendaría.

13/06/2025: The food was just so-so and the portion was not large. I think what made me most angry was that I think they threw away the hat I left behind. Was it because they tacitly assumed that I wouldn't go back to look for it

We were promised a seasonal fruit salad, but I didn't expect to receive only watermelon slices, especially for €8. As for the Italian specialty dessert, five small cookies for €10...

30/07/2025: A very touristy place where the food and service leave much to be desired. We ordered tagliatelle, and they brought me ravioli with a different sauce that was very bland. I must admit that the views are beautiful.

27/05/2025: Pranzo in famiglia era il compleanno di mio padre abbiamo ordinato e non sono arrivati tutti i piatti, piatti senza sapore sopratutto spaghetti allo scoglio, c’era un uomo in sala molto scorbutico non è possibile che nel 2025 non abbiano un menù cartaceo sopratutto per le persone anziane , appena gliel’ho chiesto mi ha risposto pure male..!! Spero migliorino che così fanno poca strada

31/07/2025: I usually try to choose places with a Google rating of 4.5 or higher for dinner because I don't have the time or energy to test the cuisines of touristy places. We came here because it's on the main square and there was space between the tables on the far side. The drinks were good, the atmosphere was good, and we finally decided to go ahead and order. The food was delicious, fresh, and very flavorful. So, despite the Google ratings, we had a great time and it's great that we ended up staying. Our waiter was also very nice and fast (Falco). We left feeling full.

29/07/2025: We went there as a family, the pizza was very good, the staff very friendly and attentive. The place is perfect with the most beautiful views.

12/07/2025: A pleasant evening of serendipity

08/07/2025: On Saturday night we returned to this place that we had already visited twice. This time, however, the experience was anything but positive. Although the restaurant sells itself because it is on the sea, the heat that was there on Saturday night was UNBEARABLE. The restaurant does not have air conditioning, and when we asked the owner if it was possible to turn it on, he replied that he prefers to keep the windows open to let you hear the waves of the sea, rather than using the air conditioning. While I understand his intent to create a more natural atmosphere, the reality is that the high temperature, on a summer evening, made the environment UNBREATHABLE. It was really difficult to enjoy dinner, and, to be honest, the place has lost a lot of its appeal. A real shame, because the place has a lot of potential, but without a proper air conditioning system we will not return. Before booking, ask if there is air conditioning.

12/07/2025: We stopped for lunch in the middle of the afternoon. The manager happily invited us to sit down and we realized that the restaurant was actually going to close, the restaurateur didn't tell us and happily took our order anyway. The buffalo pizza was very very good, and the carbonara pasta too! We ate very well, the manager still took the time to make us a coffee at the end. The place is very clean, and no flies. We really appreciated that they welcomed us like this even though it was supposed to close, in the end it had to close 1 hour later. A big thank you for this good time we had. :-)

01/08/2025: From the outside, the restaurant makes a good impression with upscale food. However, the reality doesn't match our expectations at all. Our visit was a complete disappointment. The wait times were too long, my food order went wrong and, when I asked for it, came with the wrong side dish. During the service, food fell on my legs (an apology was only given on the manager's instructions). The price/quality ratio was inconsistent. Instead of a bill, they offered dessert as an apology, which was completely uncalled for... And last but not least, there were also errors on the bill. Too many things went wrong – for this reason, I don't recommend this restaurant.

24/07/2025: Service inadequate for the venue. Table unstable. I asked for a glass of Franciacorta, which arrived warm, and they offered ice cubes...no comment. Situation management not adequately communicated, and the customer was dissatisfied.

11/07/2025: Ci hanno portato il pane duro e il tagliolino alle vongole non era per niente fresco. Mi dispiace non mi è piaciuto per niente

10/07/2025: Prezzi da furto! Un fritto misto di mare 20€ che era poco duro e sicuramente scongelato al momento, un primo alle vongole, pasta molto buona ma sughetto insipido, altro primo chitarra di mare buona ma non giustifica il prezzo. 3€ a coperto , mezzo litro di vino bianco tre palline di gelato totale 80€ per un pranzo che ne valeva si e no 45. Peccato perché il locale all’esterno sarebbe in una belle piazzetta. Ah i tavoli erano cocenti dal sole simbolo che gli ombrelloni erano stati aperti all’ultimo . Da evitare !

27/07/2025: First place after 4 days in Italy that all the dishes were good. Maybe getting smarter on what to order but all of it was great. Service good and really quaint. About a half block from the leaning tower. Very reasonable prices too.

19/07/2025: we paid 14€ for only one slice of watermelon, which wasnt,the even 100 grams of weight, and also four little slices of melon, the price ratio is not worth, don' go

12/03/2025: Cantinetta Allegri closed with COVID.. BUT YOU MUST GO TO THE NEW RESTAURANT THAT IS IN ITS PLACE! Trattoria Maga Mago. Excellent. Local. Not super touristic! Food that is in season. Excellent family owned -chef and service! Carciofi, tagliatelli, and caccio pepe today. We'll go back again this week. The portions were plenty big (in response to old review of the previous business)
