02/11/2025: We were a group of seven and had reserved a table, which I highly recommend. The view and ambiance were fantastic, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious! The prices are comparable to German restaurants, although the great location certainly plays a role. We were very satisfied and would gladly return!

05/01/2026: Pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Attentive and friendly staff. Appetizer: platter of fish cured meats, excellent and very fresh fish. Followed by grilled bonito, dolphin fish, mixed fried fish, and battered celery leaves with bonito. Delicious desserts and a good wine cellar.

04/01/2026: We went for lunch and ordered two fish-based first courses...tasty dishes, and the fish tasted excellent. It was lovely to eat at the outdoor tables accompanied by live music. The owner and waiters were very kind and made sure everything was well-served. Everything was excellent. I recommend it.

31/12/2025: Delicious lunch! We had lunch on December 31st and were very satisfied. The appetizer was sea bream, Pantelleria salad, and gluten-free spaghetti with clams, which I really appreciated for their deliciousness and the availability of them, given that I'm gluten intolerant. Attentive and courteous service. The view of the Egadi Islands was wonderful! Recommended!

05/01/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the food. Busiate (a type of fried squid), grilled squid, and fresh spinach were suggested as vegetables. Everything was very well prepared, using high-quality ingredients. Highly recommended!

25/01/2026: Last night we dined at Bottega del Carmine and it was a treat for the palate and the soul. The dishes were expertly prepared and the staff was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The final surprise was the bill, which offered excellent value for money.

19/01/2026: Beautiful evening! We felt pampered, the chef was able to convey all his professionalism and immediately put us at ease, offering advice on our choice of dishes! The octopus melted in our mouths...and that's not at all a given. The starters were delicious, as were the desserts! Congratulations...I absolutely recommend! The service was also very discreet but attentive, fantastic!

31/10/2025: The restaurant isn't aesthetically pleasing, very modern, but its strong points are the kindness of the staff and the food. The couscous, the busiate pasta with Trapanese pesto, the tagliolini with squid ink, and the desserts are excellent.

07/11/2025: I'll just comment on the restaurant, which is good for its location and service, but I'd rather put the food on the menu than the rooms. The food is good quality, made with fresh ingredients, the service is top-notch, and the location is great. In short, three indoor dining rooms plus a garden open in the summer make the Monte San Giuliano restaurant a comfortable place to spend your evenings enjoying good food. Chef Matteo Giurlanda, a member of the Italian Chefs Federation, has made the authenticity of his products his forte, combining fresh ingredients (just think of the fresh homemade pasta) with authentic Mediterranean flavors. He begins with traditional Trapani recipes and explores the flavors of the Mediterranean basin: oil, almonds, olives, pistachios, garlic, tuna products, and more.
