05/04/2026: The atmosphere is a bit drab (I should say brown, wood everywhere). Old movie posters on the walls, although the place aims to be quite formal and elegant; the aesthetic result remains mediocre. The table setting is classic and elegant. The food is exquisite. Seafood couscous, hot fish appetizer, bucatini alla Bettola (shrimp, octopus, artichokes, and salted ricotta; top notch). Everything is excellent!

16/04/2026: Today for lunch, I decided to try Trattoria Al Solito Posto, intrigued by the numerous positive reviews I'd read online. I can happily confirm that every compliment was absolutely deserved. Even though it was already past 2:30 PM, the place was still packed with customers, and the comings and goings showed no signs of slowing down: a clear sign of this place's popularity. The staff immediately proved efficient, professional, and extremely courteous, making me feel welcomed despite the rush hour. I opted for a full lunch and was thrilled: the quality of the ingredients is unquestionable, and the preparation of the dishes is excellent, further enhanced by the meticulously designed table setting. Topping it all off was the owner's exquisite kindness, who, with a thoughtful gesture, offered me two coffees at the end of the meal. It's precisely this care for the guest that distinguishes a true restaurateur. An impeccable experience that I highly recommend!

The location is excellent: easily accessible and well-connected to the city's main attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with those thoughtful details that make you feel immediately at ease. The service was attentive and courteous: the staff responded efficiently to every request, demonstrating genuine helpfulness. The breakfast was rich and varied, with fresh and beautifully presented products. The dinners were also delicious, an added bonus that completes a day of travel or work. But what makes this stay truly unique is Marilù: a charming woman, full of life, with a rich and profound history. Her presence, her hospitality, and her personal taste are evident everywhere: in the furnishings, in the paintings, in the prints, in that unique charm that gives the house a soul. Beyond the quality of the food and the beauty of the place - and in Sicily there is always plenty of that - it is precisely this that makes the experience special and memorable.

20/11/2025: We were welcomed like family; the atmosphere is very homey. The rooms are simple and clean. The pool is huge! We even went swimming in November! The restaurant is excellent. Marylou is very attentive to the ambiance. The music is great, which makes the atmosphere warm and inviting. The food is high quality and very well prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed it. And when the restaurant is closed, she suggests we go to Ittico, which was also delicious 😋

24/10/2025: La Prima Dea in Erice was such a lovely surprise. The food was beautiful, full of genuine Sicilian flavour, and made with top-quality local ingredients. The olive oil was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted — I could have happily eaten it on its own! What really stood out was the hospitality. The waiters weren’t pushy or trying to grab tourists’ attention like you often see elsewhere; they were genuinely proud of the amazing food they serve. Service was super quick too, which made it perfect for a relaxed but efficient lunch. We tried the arancini, pane cunzato and panino — all absolutely delicious. And the friendly chap outside, calling people in with his charming Italian accent, really made my day. La Prima Dea is one of those places that reminds you what good food and genuine warmth are all about. Highly recommended!

10/04/2026: One of the best places I've had seafood in Italy! The prices aren't the cheapest, but it's a great dining experience that makes it worthwhile. If you ask for the house recommendations and try their specialties, you can't go wrong. I loved the fish carbonara. Excellent service!

11/04/2026: Too bad you can't give less than one star, otherwise I would have. We went to eat the "famous" couscous with fish. A total disappointment. They brought us a huge plate but with a small central base, so if you wanted to fill up on couscous, it was just an illusion. There was a bit of fish on top of this couscous that wasn't even separated well but all mushy, a bit of concentrated fish broth on the side to moisten the heart of the couscous. I expected much better, to tell the truth, the fish on top was mackerel for me and inside the couscous no other type of seafood. My stomach and palate refused to eat the rest after a couple of forkfuls, so I left it there, also because after asking the owner what fish was in it and having listed sea bream, grouper, scorpionfish, and the best fish, he told me that they make the broth with fish "carcasses"! According to this, I left half the portion inedible! A total disappointment and not at all cheap! A bottle of water and half a glass of wine cost a whopping €36! When I got home, I ate it again because I was hungry! Think about it! Before paying a fortune and eating badly, enjoy a cheap and much better street food pie! A waste of money.

09/04/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant with friends who recommended it to me, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Elegant, sophisticated dishes with rich seafood flavors. Their couscous with broth is a must-try: exceptional 😍 The trio of appetizers is also excellent. Compliments to the owners.

The location is enchanting: directly overlooking a spectacular stretch of coast, with crystal-clear water and breathtaking views, especially at sunset. The lido is meticulously maintained, with comfortable loungers, well-organized spaces, and a relaxing yet elegant atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly, always available, and always smiling, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is a real gem: incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and made with quality ingredients. I highly recommend the raw seafood and fish couscous—simply delicious! The selection of cocktails to enjoy by the sea is also excellent. An ideal place for those who want to spend a relaxing day on the beach, as well as for those looking for an aperitif or a romantic dinner overlooking the sea. I will definitely be back!

11/10/2025: Recommended by a friend, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There was little attention paid to the table, and the two entrees we ordered had too much lemon juice, which overpowered the flavors of the fish. The consistency was also too soupy. We left almost everything and didn't order anything else, but I don't rule out the possibility that it was just our taste buds. The bill didn't take anything into account. It was also expensive.

07/10/2025: If you want to taste salt in your mouth, then go for it without hesitation. 2 possibilities: nothing is homemade and they add broths everywhere, where the cook doesn't taste his dishes and he should rethink his cooking. In any case, for the price-quality ratio, move on.

22/03/2026: It’s not obvious from the street to find it, just the name on a brown door. Inside it’s inviting, and comfortable. Our server was attentive, and very helpful on a cold drizzly day. The Sicilian dishes we ate were delicious!
