10/10/2025: We went to the place at around 21:40 the restaurant was more then half empty and asked if we could sit and have a drink. The waitress said "this is restaurant" and walked off... So we went to NELE taste of Sicily which is also a restaurant with a lovely view. It seems Capuona Taverna di Sicilia is lacking friendly, welcoming staff. After few drinks we became peckish so we ordered some food at NELE.

27/09/2025: Some of the food was okay, some was very good. However, two out of four people felt a little "sick" after dinner. But that can happen. It also seemed as if the service was very discriminatory between locals and tourists. As Italians, you receive a warm welcome and advice, but as tourists we were treated more like an inconvenience. For the price I paid, I probably wouldn't go back.

14/09/2025: We went in with high expectations judging by the other reviews and menu, but left very disappointed. Food is lacklustre and expensive, don’t recommend.

13/09/2025: A fixed-menu fish dinner for €30 per person, including wine, dessert, and liqueur. The freshest fish is caught that morning at the port, perfectly cooked, enhancing the flavor without weighing it down. The service is friendly and courteous, making you feel at home. Truly a wonderful fish dinner, worth trying again and again.

10/09/2025: A very charming place with incredibly friendly and attentive service. The food is first-rate. A friend recommended it to us, made a reservation for us, and told us we'd love it! And so it was! I recommend it to everyone; it's a wonderful experience.

07/10/2025: Without a doubt, and after a week in Sicily, this is the worst and most expensive restaurant we've ever had. The pasta, which they sold as fresh, I highly doubt was fresh. Expensive dishes. They also charged us €3.50 for a bottle of water we hadn't ordered, and they didn't serve it to us.

22/09/2025: Magnificent, ...everything was excellent. The friendliness and service were impeccable. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. And the food...just don't miss it. And the portions were generous. A must-try.

30/08/2025: Excellent restaurant! In Macari, a very quiet village near San Vito lo Capo, we found a place to eat well with a breathtaking view! The busiate Azzurra Makari were delicious! We'll be back!

30/08/2025: We visited Azzura two years ago and it was an amazing experience. The view was astonishing, the food delicious, and the staff very friendly. We were so happy that we went back once more during the same stay. It fully met our expectations, and we even had the chance to congratulate and thank the Chef! We’re looking forward to coming back soon and definitely recommend you to visit it!

09/10/2025: This pastry shop was recommended to us for a cake. Let me start by saying we're from Trapani. On the first day, my wife came in to order a cake and was told the owner was away and to come back another time. I find it absurd that if the owner isn't there, an order can't be taken. My wife came back today and asked again to order a cake. She was told to wait 5 minutes. After 20 minutes, the girl behind the counter, after serving several customers, looked at my wife and asked, "Do you want to pick up the cake or order it?" My wife told her again that it was to be ordered. The girl said, "Okay, I'm coming." Another 10 minutes passed, and my wife went to the girl, thanked her for her kindness, and left. Now I wonder: does the owner know who's behind the counter, or maybe they work so hard that one cake more or one cake less doesn't make a difference to their life?

07/10/2025: Very good flavors in this restaurant where the service, the room and the cleanliness are very pleasant. Good value for money and restaurant frequented mainly by Sicilians.

23/09/2025: The waiter was very helpful and friendly. We made ourselves understood with the help of the translator and had some very delicious food.

06/09/2025: We had dinner this evening, September 6th. The place was very nice. The appetizer was very good, the couscous was good but not rich. Everything was just right, the pasta with clams was good. The service was like a restaurant. First of all, there's no wine list, and you don't know what the price is for what you order. We ordered a bottle of Rosé. The appetizer arrived, but not the bottle, so we had to ask for it. When the first courses arrived, I asked for a plate to put the shells in. I'm still waiting for it. Aside from the young waiter, the others were very rude and unprofessional.

09/10/2025: Dinner 3 of 6 in Sicily. We were here for the "Insolito" event, which featured seafood dishes (primarily red shrimp), accompanied by unusual pairings and local wines. Everything was excellent, from the food to the atmosphere, and the visual and verbal presentation of the dishes. Due to the delays of other customers, we were even offered a small appetizer to while away the wait.

04/10/2025: Fantastic place, we returned after about ten years... precisely because we had such a great time back then! We came down from Le Marche, and I assure you, it was worth it!! Definitely highly recommended. Fantastic people and excellent quality food! Thanks to the guys at the restaurant

30/08/2025: Impeccable service, excellent food, perfectly balanced dishes. The eggplant tart was excellent, as was the spaghetti with garlic, oil, chili pepper, shrimp, and lemon. Definitely worth a try.

29/08/2025: I had dinner with two other friends at this wonderful place. We ate wonderfully (the tuna steak was among the best I've ever had), and the service was young and impeccable. Thank you.

21/09/2025: Very nice place with a clean and welcoming outdoor area. The wine waiter cheered me up, professional and friendly; the owner, too reserved, seemed almost annoyed. I don't expect the same welcome she gave her friends, but a smile... Food: very good, but the chef must have a special skill set because the pasta seemed to have bones, not al dente. I have a strong and well-founded doubt about the grouper-filled ravioli. First of all, €16 seemed too low given the abundance of filling. Also, the grouper has firm, meaty flesh, while the other one was stringy like cod. The sauce was delicious, but I won't be returning.
