04/10/2025: Let's be honest, the staff was friendly but we got to have our worst dinner in Sicily there. There was, amongst others, this weird octopus marinated in half butter half soja sauce (I guess a lost attempt at making it "umami") served with super cold side and a traditional couscous which was rougly about pourring the whole package of couscous in the plate and not much more else (other than a pour-it-yourself fish soup, I'm sure my teen would do this meal when they're alone at home). Usually there's some music, maybe it's best to drink and avoid food?

24/11/2025: A very pleasant stay, thanks also to Marilù 🌟 I spent a few nights at this hotel and was truly satisfied. The location is excellent: easily accessible and well-connected to the city's main attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with those thoughtful details that make you feel immediately at ease. The service was attentive and courteous: the staff responded efficiently to every request, demonstrating genuine helpfulness. The breakfast was rich and varied, with fresh and beautifully presented products. The dinners were also delicious, an added bonus that completes a day of travel or work. But what makes this stay truly unique is Marilù: a charming woman, full of life, with a rich and profound history. Her presence, her hospitality, and her personal taste are evident everywhere: in the furnishings, in the paintings, in the prints, in that unique charm that gives the house a soul. Beyond the quality of the food and the beauty of the place - and in Sicily there is always plenty of that - it is precisely this that makes the experience special and memorable.

20/11/2025: We were welcomed like family; the atmosphere is very homey. The rooms are simple and clean. The pool is huge! We even went swimming in November! The restaurant is excellent. Marylou is very attentive to the ambiance. The music is great, which makes the atmosphere warm and inviting. The food is high quality and very well prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed it. And when the restaurant is closed, she suggests we go to Ittico, which was also delicious 😋

02/06/2026: Everything was perfect, from the appetizers to the first courses, the freshest fish and the fisherman's risotto 🔝 exceptional staff! Prices were normal, like the others, I absolutely recommend it.!!

02/06/2026: Super-fast service, excellent food! Reservations are essential, otherwise you risk having to wait… The staff, however, work hard to quickly clear tables and make them available for those waiting. The octopus and mussels are a must-try!

11/10/2025: Recommended by a friend, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There was little attention paid to the table, and the two entrees we ordered had too much lemon juice, which overpowered the flavors of the fish. The consistency was also too soupy. We left almost everything and didn't order anything else, but I don't rule out the possibility that it was just our taste buds. The bill didn't take anything into account. It was also expensive.

07/10/2025: If you want to taste salt in your mouth, then go for it without hesitation. 2 possibilities: nothing is homemade and they add broths everywhere, where the cook doesn't taste his dishes and he should rethink his cooking. In any case, for the price-quality ratio, move on.

30/05/2026: A historic restaurant where the food is always good, and the garden is a magical and peaceful place (without the chaos of the city center). We return every year. Recommended.

02/02/2026: Overrated place right in the city center. They certainly had a great idea with this crepes, doing something different. Overall, we ate well, but nothing wow-worthy. The quality-price ratio isn't great, considering we're talking about crepes: milk, eggs, and flour. The menu also lists a lot of frozen ingredients. So we're starting with a "budget" base, but the bill was steep, unlike their earnings. The lady who slices the ham with her "bare hands," without gloves or tongs, and places it directly on the crepes, was "fabulous." But whatever, let's laugh about it. At least don't have the kitchen open to view if you have to do this. However, the service was courteous, especially the waiter who served us.

29/04/2026: April 25, 2026, is it because of the day? High prices, expensive appetizer, mozzarella with crostini can't be that expensive, limited choice of first courses, which are nonetheless worthwhile, but mostly busiate, and who doesn't like them? There's no connection between pasta and sauce, good wine, but you can't base a glass on everything. The location is top-notch, you're only paying for the view, decent service, a little more presence would have helped. I would have appreciated more presence rather than everything being fine. I recommend more attention to customer service. If it's a niche issue, just mention it and people will go elsewhere. The place deserves it, it just needs a little more flair. Those arriving by car should take into account the limited parking, otherwise it's a camel trophy.

29/05/2026: I'm giving this hotel five stars because I've only ever seen such meticulously clean rooms and spaces in Dubai! We stayed as a couple and enjoyed breakfast. The atmosphere is intimate, just how we like it. Just steps from the sea. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

20/09/2025: Where do I even begin? Pure horror from top to bottom. (We didn't even get our food.) It took ages to finally get a menu. The slick waiter gave us a reproachful look when we didn't want to order wine. When we finally got a menu and were horrified to discover there were no vegetarian options, I reluctantly ordered two sides (again with a reproachful look from the waiter). I've now been waiting 45 minutes for my two sides. 🤘 The rest is anyone's guess. PS: The food arrived after we'd already made several trips to the restroom, which were more pleasant than the entire restaurant's ambiance. The side dish simply arrived after the main course, or rather, one of the side dishes never even made it out of the kitchen! The burger was okay. My advice to everyone: if your stomachs are already rumbling and you have a hungry lady with you, then I would advise against visiting this restaurant. Otherwise, it's okay. The city is beautiful, and you can find plenty of other good restaurants. 😉
