02/02/2025: ARRIVATI A MONREALE USCIAMO PER MANGIARE CI AVEVANO CONSIGLIATO ALTRI MA POI L OCCHIO E CADUTO SU STELLINA MICHELINE entriamo il proprietario molto accogliente era tardi ci dice che il pane era finito, bene ci sediamo e ordiniamo dei primi( Norma Della Taverna Pasta fresca con salsa di pomodoro, melanzane fritte, stracciatella di burrata e salsa al basilico ) ottimo mentre degustiamo un bicchiere di vino ci porta della focaccia fatta portare apposta per non farci sentire che non cera il pane morale della favola siamo rimasti a parlare con lui ci ha detto che la sua famiglia tutti ristoratori da 4 generazioni ed il figlio anche. se passate fermatevi locale bellissimo internamente .

08/02/2025: Il Castello (hotel and restaurant) enchanting and well-kept location in Patralia Sottana a few kilometers from Piano Battaglia. The hotel rooms are spacious, welcoming, equipped with every comfort and clean. The restaurant for the quality of the raw materials, the type of courses and the service is decidedly TOP! Hospitable owners, managers and workers, available and ready to satisfy every request / need. Exactly what you need to take a break from everyday life and immerse yourself in the silence of nature. That Sunday we had to go to another place but a detour due to work took us towards Piana degli Albanesi, a town that I have always wanted to visit but had never managed. Finding ourselves there and as a celiac it's always a dilemma to be able to eat out, instead I find myself calling this place where I'm told it's gluten-free. Believe me, however, I could never imagine being able to take a "journey through flavours"! First of all, a very welcoming and well-kept place, professional and kind staff, and then the attention in explaining the various courses was very important. Then the menu and the surprise of discovering that you can order anything the same as the others in the gluten-free version is priceless!🥰 The first was with beef sauce, but "Beef Sauce", as the cooking for 6 hours and the addition of enough cocoa and cinnamon gave that unique and particular taste, the top moment was the choice of the pasta format , usually I have to settle for the usual penne, but here I was able to choose between various formats and brands known in the gluten-free sector for the characteristics of the pasta, I chose the ridged shells, a perfect combination with the sauce , the very tender pieces of meat, it must be said that this dish could already be a first and second course together but we also ordered the second course, a grilled meat consisting of sliced ​​beef, lamb ribs and sausage with a side of potatoes. Super good!😉 Then last but not least, the gluten-free desserts, I opted for the decomposed cannoli with citrus ricotta. What can I say? 01/01/2025: Family of 4 (adults) for lunch on Jan 1st. Nice service. Well located. However disappointed by the food. Dishes looked rather sophisticated in the menu but the output is not up to either the promise or the price ( average taste apart from the tuno, very ungenerous portions and the served raviolis were lukewarm) and we all tried different dishes. All in all, overrated.

11/12/2024: Unfortunately I have to give it a 1, which rarely happens to me, for the simple fact that I woke up hungry. Nice environment, friendly service, I think it's a family business, the lady is attentive, the kids are still a little immature. Careful cuisine, quality of raw materials, but portions too small. No problem paying for dishes above average, but the quantities also count, whether it's a nice restaurant or a simple trattoria one goes to eat, if you wake up hungry something hasn't worked.

22/01/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with my partner during the summer holidays. We tried it driven by the numerous very positive reviews. However, it did not reflect what I had read, as the dishes were quite disappointing. The two appetizers failed, a good idea but in terms of taste there is still a large margin for improvement. The risotto, however, was good. In conclusion I can say that it is a normal restaurant, not up to what is praised.

05/02/2025: Each dish represents the place well, the "Madonita" cuisine made of typical products such as mushrooms, cheeses, suckling pig, are brought to the plate and elaborated in an innovative way with elegance without betraying the full and true taste of the products themselves An excellent cuisine to my taste, for the dessert I will have to return.... except for the "Turk's head" (typical Castebuonese dessert) there wasn't much left Welcoming and pleasant dining room staff Negative note is represented by the little space for movement and on the table.... Clean and comfortable facilities Quality and price are balanced

10/02/2025: Non è la prima volta che pranzo in questa trattoria e non si smentisce mai per la semplicità, qualità e genuita dei piatti preparati al momento . Location semplice ed accogliente, cucina a vista, staff molto cordiale. Lo consiglio vivamente. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Unica pecca o qualità a seconda del tempo che vuoi impiegare per il pranzo ( i piatti vengono preparati al momento) si aspetta un po' troppo ma ne vale la pena .

08/02/2025: Trattoria a conduzione familiare con buonissimi prodotti locali, il proprietario Francesco e gentilissimo, e ci ha consigliato molto bene. Il menù è piccolo , ( una quindicina di piatti in tutto ) d’altronde non mi aspettavo altro. ( se uno si aspetta qualità ). Da consigliare assolutamente

01/02/2025: Thank you for a wonderful dinner!!! Sardine meatballs, spaghetti with squid ink and bucatini with sardines as I remember only at my partner's mother's house. A little bread to mop up the sauce and a good white wine to accompany it. Absolutely recommended!

05/01/2025: A very nice restaurant, with friendly waiters. The sommelier is also friendly and helpful, he recommends excellent wines and also a restaurant in Budapest, which is his Sicilian friend. We ate à la carte, everything was perfect. We have also been to a starred restaurant in Sicily, but for me Cortile Pepe was the best dining experience, surpassing all other restaurants. If you are in Cefalù, it is absolutely not to be missed!

24/01/2025: We went with my wife, I tried Shrimp Maccheroni and proseco (bottle). My wife ate boiled meat with red fruits, mashed potatoes and we paid 68€. We were very pleased with the food, the staff were very kind, caring and sympathetic. A nice restaurant in the historical city. The environment could have been more authentic. I can say that the chairs do not suit the quality of the restaurant.
