05/01/2026: We ate here the night we arrived in Cefalu, and we were very lucky to find such a friendly and cosy restaurant, with delicious traditional Sicilian food. We enjoyed it so much we came back for a second night. Our favourites included: the herring and orange starter, both of the rigatoni pasta dishes on the menu, and the delicious swordfish involtini - all accompanied by a few glasses of the Nero d’Avola. Also very reasonably priced. 100% recommend!

11/11/2025: A very rustic place, the unique vaulted ceilings make it almost unnoticeable how few tables are available. Excellent food. Friendly and attentive staff. Definitely worth returning.

21/10/2025: In Palermo for work, I decide to try the meat and cannoli at Piana degli Albanesi. The place is small but cozy and clean, seating about thirty. Service is average. The meat and cannoli are excellent.

20/10/2025: The food is absolutely delicious, the best that we had in Sicily. Waiters are very helpful, polite. We are traveling with 20 month old toddler, the stuff helped us to arrange the food for the kid. Pizzas are outstanding, second dishes very very tasty. The waiter Joseppe was absolutely the best, very friendly, polite, and helpful!

14/10/2025: Thanks to the dedicated staff, we enjoyed an exceptionally delicious late-night dinner at Via Roma. The appetizers were fantastic – sardines and caprese. The main courses were pizza with pistachio cheese and the perfectly prepared dish of the day – shrimp with dumplings in a citrus sauce! The prices were excellent. The service was excellent and friendly. We highly recommend it!

25/09/2025: The pizza is simply indescribable, the best ever! The place is welcoming and meticulously maintained, and the staff is incredibly friendly and fast. More than just a dinner, it's a top-notch culinary experience. Highly recommended!

05/01/2026: I ate two meals during the four-day trip. The green plate of noodles was fettuccine with pesto, and it was delicious! It was very convenient to get there because I was staying nearby! If you eat dinner around 7 pm, you don't need to make a reservation.

26/12/2025: The menu wasn't updated online. We sat down and found only ready-made pasta sauces displayed at the counter, and a very salty pasta with clams, off-menu. Fresh fish by the kilo? None. Fish meatballs? Purchased pre-made and of poor quality. Swordfish rolls were very dry. The worst thing was that fried calamari, marinated shrimp, and pasta with bottarga were delivered to the table next to ours (all off-menu dishes that no one had informed us about). The only positive note of the lunch was the seafood salad. Never again.

06/01/2026: We had dinner at this delightful, welcoming restaurant typical of the Madonie region. We were delighted with their cuisine. The pizza was one of the best we've ever had in Sicily, both in terms of dough and ingredients. The rest of the food was also excellent, with one tiny complaint...we'd asked for a larger first course, but we were served a limited portion, yet it was still delicious! We'll be back, especially for the beauty of the village!

02/01/2026: Hello everyone, I spent a very pleasant New Year's Eve. I found the place very clean, the rooms acceptable, a little dated, and that's okay since they are in reference to the castle which is over 300 years old. However, they are very functional. Top breakfast. Top restaurant. Especially for the pizza, I have never eaten such a good pizza, compliments to all the staff. Then I found cordiality, courtesy and kindness in everything. Starting from the waiters, truly qualified people, up to the owners who are wonderful people, especially Mrs. Francesca who always has a smile for everyone. With this I conclude with a greeting from Ludovico (Mike-Francesca-Luca-Marco-Giovanni- and all the staff.) a real hug ❤️ I will definitely be back soon, what can I say, I already miss you, a hug

24/12/2025: We stumbled upon it during our visit to Palermo and highly recommend it. Incredible value for money. And Damiano's service is fantastic. A family-run restaurant where it's a pleasure to eat!

22/12/2025: This has the look of a family business. I didn't ask but it very clearly seemed that way to me. The food is very good but, and fortunately, you won't find overly complex dishes. The people are friendly.

10/01/2026: Returned today after a few years away. What can I say... Excellent cuisine, we had lunch in a relaxing atmosphere, with delicious dishes. Comfortable atmosphere, courteous, helpful, and never intrusive staff. Highly recommended. When we're passing through Castelbuono, we'll definitely be back.

09/01/2026: We had a lovely dinner at Palazzaccio. The service was very professional and the food was excellent. The quality of the products were amazing including the local olive oil and wine. We only recommend to include more vegetarian dishes to the menu. Thank you again for the experience!

02/01/2026: We ate a delicious and plentiful appetizer of Sicilian specialties, including a taste of the delicious arancini, but the next dish was filled with small, slightly bitter, acquarelle-like fish, and perhaps the cooking oil was a bit tired. There was only outdoor seating, and despite it being January 2nd, the light breeze was unpleasant, even though the temperature wasn't particularly cold.
