06/03/2025: And then after visiting the magnificent Cathedral of Monreale we ventured to discover this small town and by chance we stopped for lunch in this lovely Taverna. For us it was a pleasant experience!!! We ate very well, my pasta alla Norma was truly excellent and the appetizers were delicious, excellent quality food, we highly recommend it 👏

10/03/2025: This small medieval town on top of a hill in the Parco delle Madonie in Sicily has this one hotel in the middle of narrow, winding, hilly, cobbled streets. Parking is a matter of luck, as you can imagine, but once parked one can walk all around town. The hotel had someone waiting for us to hand over the keys and we were on our own after that. The first odd thing we noticed is that rooms 1 & 2 are on the top floor while room 6 is on the ground floor. Of course there are no lifts in this renovated medieval building, so three flights of stairs will keep you healthy when you’re in room 1. The room itself was very spacious and offers all the facilities one expects. The bathroom flushing was the second quirky thing we experienced - it’s a push button function but a sign on the wall advises guests that they need to push it several times with some energy for it to function - unfortunately I did not take a photo of the sign! Other than that our stay was pleasant and the breakfast buffet was enjoyable.

16/02/2025: We had dinner at this place for the second time, the first was at least 3 years ago and we remembered that the food was very good. Well, what can I say, it has maintained the same level if not exceeded it!! We ordered a well-seasoned mussel soup accompanied by fried croutons. As first courses, we took two off-menu dishes that were excellently cooked. All washed down with a delicious local Grillo served chilled. In short, the location may not be elite but the cuisine surpasses many starred restaurants!! Super recommended exceptional value for money

04/03/2025: The predictions were confirmed. High quality food, helpful staff, very clean place. The materials used are exceptional and the various dishes are explained exhaustively. We ate extraordinary ravioli with stew sauce and mushrooms, delicious rigatoni with ricotta and wild asparagus, excellent nevrodi suckling pig with baked potatoes and delicious tagliatelle with mushrooms and potatoes. Not to mention the sublime dessert of citrus fruit and almond biscuit. We will return.

10/02/2025: Non è la prima volta che pranzo in questa trattoria e non si smentisce mai per la semplicità, qualità e genuita dei piatti preparati al momento . Location semplice ed accogliente, cucina a vista, staff molto cordiale. Lo consiglio vivamente. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Unica pecca o qualità a seconda del tempo che vuoi impiegare per il pranzo ( i piatti vengono preparati al momento) si aspetta un po' troppo ma ne vale la pena .

08/02/2025: Trattoria a conduzione familiare con buonissimi prodotti locali, il proprietario Francesco e gentilissimo, e ci ha consigliato molto bene. Il menù è piccolo , ( una quindicina di piatti in tutto ) d’altronde non mi aspettavo altro. ( se uno si aspetta qualità ). Da consigliare assolutamente

13/03/2025: Piccolo locale rustico con una capienza di circa 30/35 posti, si presenta ordinato e pulito, buono il servizio svolto in modo cortese e presente.il menù non è molto ampio, prevede circa 4 antipasti, altrettanti primi e lo stesso i secondi, i piatti sono semplici ma gustosi, nessuna divagazione o abbinamenti improbabili. I prezzi sono medi, rispetto i prezzi indicati su trip vanno aumentati di circa il 40 %. Consigliato a chi cerca buona cucina ed un posto intimo e rilassante.

18/01/2025: Increíble cena en Sicilia! Nos encantó cada plato. Realmente recomiendo probar sus especiales, ya que son deliciosos. Hemos probado ostras, pulpo (el mejor que probamos en Italia) y un filete que se cocinó a la perfección. Lugar de propiedad familiar que mantiene la calidad de la comida y el vino!

03/03/2025: This was a lovely dining experience in Cefalù. Our party of four came on a Sunday evening with a 7:30 PM reservation we made earlier that day. We arrived and were promptly seated. Davide was incredibly gracious and helpful. One of the folks in our party is vegetarian and he helped us out with some swaps to make some dishes vegetarian. He walked us through the specials and the wine options as well as some questions we had about some menu items. The food we had was all incredibly flavorful and we enjoyed each dish. The standouts were the chicken liver, Sicilian stuffed meat rolls, rigatoni al rustico, and the spaghetti with pesto & swordfish. The rabbit also came recommended from our hotel concierge, but there were too many good options to pass up! Highly recommend coming here and worth making a reservation as it is a very popular spot with all of the locals as well!

02/03/2025: They took great care of us, the service was super attentive. We ordered the onion soup, it came with spectacular butter. Carpaccio and a pasta. We accompany it with some beers. Perhaps compared to other places in Sicily, they were a bit pricey. But it is worth it without a doubt. Highly recommended restaurant.

16/03/2025: We had an amazing day at this petting zoo, and immediately felt welcomed like part of the family. The owners Nino and Tiziana were incredibly warm and helpful, creating a family and relaxing atmosphere. The children had a lot of fun, taking part in numerous activities, such as milking, making bread and repotting plants, and horse riding. It was wonderful to see their eyes full of enthusiasm as they learned to carry out practical tasks and in contact with nature. We parents also enjoyed the time, relaxing and participating in these unique experiences together with our children. An excellent lunch could not be missing, which was a real delight: dishes prepared with very fresh and quality ingredients, which allowed us to taste the true typical cuisine. A truly special experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to spend a different day, immersed in nature and tradition! We will definitely return and recommend it to all families with children and beyond.

03/03/2025: Tony and Alex are the real deal as are their respective spouses, all of which are there every day making sure everyone is happy. For us, this is the perfect place - the balance between casual family atmosphere and great, authentic food. We live in Palermo a few months every year, and this is the first place we return, and the last place before we leave.

25/03/2025: Nice campsite. The campervan spaces are large and the view is beautiful. Clean toilets, the only drawback is that there is no transport to Cefalu which is 14km away, one bus at 7:20 in the morning and one at 3:30 p.m....not great. The owner took us by car, it's cheaper than a taxi but still a significant expense, at least it allowed us to visit Cefalu. I recommend it

14/03/2025: A wonderful end to our vacation in Sicily. At Cortile Pepe we enjoyed the best cuisine in two weeks in Sicily. We had the vegetarian menu and the Conosciamoci menu..Excellent! Very attentive service, very friendly patron Toti. Solid atmosphere, reasonable price-performance ratio. We'll be back.
