12/05/2025: There were two of us for lunch. We had three appetizers, a first course and a side dish. All very good. You can see that care is taken in always providing up-to-date dishes with seasonal ingredients. More clubby atmosphere for the evening. Varied choice of cocktails. Fairly fast service. Menu updated according to the period. Located in a central but quiet street in the afternoon.

20/05/2025: We had dinner for six people, welcoming atmosphere, first courses: pasta alla norma, fresh busiate, tonnarello garlic oil chili pepper on cream of potatoes. All very good. Really recommended.

30/05/2025: Siamo arrivati a Petralia Soprana nell’ora del pranzo e abbiamo avuto l’impressione che non ci fossero ristoranti aperti. Ci siamo rivolti ad un gruppo di persone siciliane incontrate in strada che ci hanno consigliato la trattoria di Salvatore per un ottimo pasto. Infatti ci siamo trovati molto bene sia rispetto all’accoglienza che al cibo, tipico e molto buono. Abbiamo gustato l’abbondante antipasto di prelibatezze senza riuscire a ordinare altri piatti. Grazie a Salvatore e a sua figlia che hanno reso la nostra giornata esplorativa nel parco delle Madonie straordinaria.

01/06/2025: We had to wait approx an hour for a table. The sardine pasta was good, the octopus we had as a starter was amazing, but the meat didn’t have much flavor to it. It’s a traditional dish so maybe we just didn’t like that particular dish. Tiramisu was delicious.

01/06/2025: Our favorite restaurant again on our second visit to Palermo! Incredibly delicious food, incredibly friendly service, a lovely atmosphere across from a church, a bit away from the hustle and bustle, but still easy to reach. Everything here is delicious – you just have to like fish and seafood, though ;) The seafood risotto, the octopus salad, the pasta, or the grilled fish – all sensational. And to top it all off, a delicious tiramisu is always a must. It's best to make a reservation; the place is very popular and always packed.

30/04/2025: The plate is empty. Haha. The swordfish basil pasta was really delicious. The Sicilian veal rolls are also delicious. And the atmosphere of the store was really nice and the staff were really friendly. I went there as soon as it opened, but it was already full, so I made a reservation for 9:30 p.m. This was my first time making a reservation while traveling, so I was more excited and it was as delicious as I expected :) Recommended!

25/04/2025: One of the best meals we had in Sicily during our 3 week bike trip and 4 day train travel. My husband was served a generous portion of rabbit with delicious seasoning. I enjoyed a Sicilian rolled beef dish. Very popular spot so make a reservation!
