03/06/2025: I recently went to this Italian restaurant and, although the environment was clean, unfortunately my overall experience was disappointing, especially regarding the service.
The dining room staff, made up of foreign waiters, showed evident difficulties in understanding the Italian language, making even simple communication difficult. This aspect is particularly worrying when it comes to fundamental information such as allergens or food intolerances: when I asked for clarification, no one seemed to be informed or prepared on the subject. In an era in which food safety should be a priority, I consider this a very critical point.
The staff was also very rude.
The cuisine overall was decent, in line with the expectations of an Italian restaurant, but not enough to compensate for such a poor service.
I hope that the management invests in staff training and communication, especially to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all customers.
24/04/2025: Very unfriendly staff, expensive and coffee was the worse we ever had in sicily! To top it off, when we asked the lady at the bar for the menu she felt uncomfortable and we noticed that she removed the drinks paper from the plastic folder so we won't see the actual prices because she definitely charged us extra because we are turists

10/06/2025: We ate here twice. The pizzas are wonderful with their delicious cheese and puffy Sicilian pizza crust. The burger was overcooked, so stick to the pizzas. It took a while for the food the come to the table, but we’re on Italian time. The little plaza is a nice hangout spot. Overall it’s a great place for dinner.
05/04/2025: As soon as I entered the service of the pizzeria was perfect. I was welcomed by 2 very kind girls and the smells were very good, I highly recommend this pizzeria for people who want to try new things this pizzeria is the best

10/07/2025: Questo locale si conferma su livelli di ottima qualità! Decisamente buone le granite, ottima la rosticceria! Personale molto cortese e rapido! Il tutto contornato dalla posizione sul lungo mare scogliera della città! Decisamente un posto ideale, per incontrarsi con amici e trascorrere un po' di tempo insieme, gustando roba di qualità.
03/07/2025: Prezzo assolutamente esagerato per quello che abbiamo consumato. Quasi 10 euro per due cappuccini e due paste. State alla larga.

04/06/2025: La bontà dei prodotti non la discuto ma, sbagliare con un tablet tre ordinazioni su otto e non sopperire all'errore e per giunta servire il gelato a tavolo in un bicchiere di carta come fosse d'asporto o per bambini non e proprio accettabile, visto che pagando, il servizio al tavolo prevede il bicchierato in vetro. Quanto detto veniva fatto presente ai due camerieri senza ottenere alcuna risposta e nemmeno uno scusateci. Professionalità zero.
22/05/2025: I’m a cannoli lover. OMG went 3 times to purchase cannoli for dessert. Bought all 3 choices, chocolate, ricotta & custard cream. Oh my, sublime. The lady proprietor was welcoming and gracious. Definitely a 5 star in my opinion.

Esperienza terribile, personale scortese infastidito da qualsiasi richiesta dei clienti. Pasta senza sale sale, porzioni ridicole, abbiamo preso una porzione di calamari fritti del prezzo di 20 euro, dove ne hanno portato 4 contanti, una vergogna assoluta. Prezzi alti per la scarsa qualità del cibo e del servizio.
Da evitare assolutamente
26/07/2025: Il personale è sembrato infastidito a delle semplici richieste (pane, cucchiaio, calice...), la qualità e freschezza del cibo è stata non ottima così come le quantità. Pessimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

15/04/2025: Non voglio fare paragoni con altri locali, la cucina è buona ma nulla che ti faccia dire “waw”!!! Cucina tradizionale e prezzi non in linea con la tipologia dei pasti la cui qualità comunque è ottima. Il servizio accoglienza senza coccole…insomma il prezzo è sentito rispetto ad un antipasto, un solo primo ed un secondo!!!
Diciamo che io ritorno dove sono stato 4giorni li…lì era veramente waw!!!
12/04/2025: Ne giro parecchi e loro li metto al primo posto. Pesce freschissimo di prima scelta ben cucinato. Servizio eccellente. Da rinnovare a mio avviso la location, Per il resto Restano i migliori.

Abbiamo ordinato 3 aperitivi e precisamente 2 aperol spritz e 1 prosecco.
Oltre ai drink hanno portato un piattino con 5 olive maleodoranti e qualche patatina.
Davvero vergognoso!
Abbiamo pagato 26 euro.

03/03/2025: L’accoglienza cordiale da parte di Giuseppe che ci invita sulla terrazza per ammirare il panorama e la piazza sottostante ci convince subito a fermarci per la cena, la musica di sottofondo crea la giusta atmosfera e tutto il personale è molto gentile e professionale. Gin tonic e proposte della tradizione preparate con cura.

20/08/2025: We've already had pizzas at Risiu twice and were satisfied both times. The pizzas are delicious, with perfect dough, and they're reasonably priced. I recommend downloading the very well-designed app, where you can order your pizza and take advantage of many discounts and freebies.

22/08/2025: Very nice location, sea view, but the first course could have been cooked better, especially considering the rather high prices (early August, €26 per dish) that the quality doesn't justify... I understand that we're on Filicudi, that everything costs more in August and that there are transport costs, etc., but it's a bit exaggerated. I give it 4 stars for the atmosphere and proximity to the sea.
21/08/2025: This review is for the restaurant only. Unfortunately, we won't be returning: the raw fish appetizer was awful, and the main courses were outrageously expensive.
It's a shame, a historic restaurant that has been ruined.

07/09/2025: Great for a frozen pizza that's sold as good.
My example (I love cheese): I asked for an 8-cheese pizza. Meaning (and explaining) a 4-cheese pizza with plenty of cheese.
He said, "I understand, I love cheese too, I'll make you a Snow White pizza with lots of cheese."
But the pizza, poor thing, was frozen, and he forgot to put cheese on it, just to tease me.
Poor experience.
