10/11/2025: We were here in October, so it was less crowded than in the summer. The food was delicious. Excellent pizzas. The service was friendly and helpful. A beautiful spot with a view of the sea.

09/11/2025: Just for an espresso, but after seeing the restroom, I wouldn't eat there. Right by the sea 🌊, I imagine it would be cozy with the large terrace. It rained when we were there.

02/10/2025: I was at Lipadusa Restaurant last night, October 1, 2025. After a rich and delicious mixed seafood appetizer, I ordered tagliatelle with tomato sauce, vegetable ragù, and monkfish. Too bad there was no monkfish on the plate at all. I politely pointed this out to the owner, who literally attacked me, claiming the frog was minced. I can confirm, however, that there was no fish in the tagliatelle, not even a hint. I actually ate tagliatelle with tomato sauce, chopped celery, onion, and carrot, and a fish stock. The portion was also very small. After the clarification, I received the bill immediately and the owner himself asked me to pay, telling me they wouldn't serve me anything else. The evening was terrible for other tables near mine, too. Several diners repeatedly complained to the staff about delays, missing dishes, etc. The owner became very nervous and aggressive with all the guests who complained, claiming that at the end of the season he was tired of dealing with people. Terrible hospitality, rating 3. He remained calm and detached; he didn't manage to ruin my evening, even though I would have preferred to eat what he had offered and explained to me. However, the aggression I received was serious. Nice note: The waitress, aware of what had happened, asked if she could offer me an amaro, which I accepted, almost as if to apologize for what had happened. A very appreciated gesture.

24/07/2025: Increíble experiencia en La Tabernetta!!!! Primero tengo que mencionar el lugar, frente al mar con barcos amarrados, el sol bajando sobre el horizonte.... De película. La atención impecable, dedicada de todo el personal y los dueños acercándose a ver si todo estaba perfecto. Gracias!!!!!! Y la comida exquisita, con productos regionales de excelencia.Excelente relación precio calidad, y una extensa carta de vinos y postres hacen de la cena una experiencia especial. Gracias a todos!!!! Los Argentinos Marce y Marce los saludan!!!!!

23/07/2025: Cucina buona ma non eccezionale. Locale curato e personale attento e disponibile. Pizzeria molto buona . Frequentato soprattutto da abitanti di Cefalù: quindi apprezzata in Loco e non solo x turisti

13/07/2025: 45€ per cosa, esattamente? Un menù fisso che sa di fregatura. Sono stato a La Bettola dei Marinai con la speranza di gustare un buon pranzo vista mare, ma sono uscito con la sensazione di essere stato truffato. Il famigerato “menù fisso” da 45€ a persona è una trovata ben confezionata per attirare clienti e svuotar loro il portafoglio senza offrire nulla di realmente all’altezza del prezzo. Nessuna trasparenza su cosa includa esattamente il menù, nessuna possibilità di scelta, e soprattutto un'esperienza che non vale nemmeno la metà di quanto pagato. Alla fine il conto arriva senza sorprese… ma con tanto amaro in bocca: 135€ in tre per qualcosa che altrove sarebbe stato classificato come “menù turistico” da massimo 20€. Un’operazione ben studiata per sembrare autentica, ma che puzza di marketing ingannevole lontano un miglio. Non tornerò, e consiglio a chiunque di informarsi bene prima di sedersi. Unico aspetto positivo.. i ragazzi che lavorano li come camerieri

04/09/2025: The pizza is decent and the location is very nice, but all of this is overshadowed by the staff, which to call inadequate is an understatement.

19/10/2025: Starting from the assumption that this hotel was recommended to us, and unfortunately, we trusted them by booking without actually seeing anything, but... in hindsight, we made a terrible mistake. Zero welcome. I can wait 20 minutes for the owner to check me in when it's a B&B, not a hotel!!! The room... absolutely no comment. Aside from the style, which is unfortunately subjective and, as far as I'm concerned, taste is zero, stuck in the '80s... the room smelled, as soon as I opened the door, of mold, stuffiness, and sewerage, it was unbelievable... the windows had filthy curtains, one of which was broken and had to be pulled inside the window to keep it in place. As soon as we went to bed, I had to have the pillowcases changed because they were wrinkled, as if someone had leaned on them... the shower was quite suffocating because it was completely closed, but that's subjective too, the showerhead hook broke without any warning, so the showerhead decided to commit suicide on my toe, coming out red and swollen!!! Breakfast, another thing, no comment... very low quality... and, except for the coffee, only food. Juice, milk, squeezed juice... nothing, nothing!!!! You could have choked on not even a drop of water. No cutlery, just plates, so everyone practically grabs it with their hands. Then they serve cereal without milk, so as far as I'm concerned I could have thrown it in my face. Highly not recommended, absolutely not, I'll never stay here again. P.S. The only decent thing is the parking... too bad a few cockroaches showed up before we left, so no pest control!!!!

15/09/2025: Very important points to highlight are: - No welcome at reception; a young man greeted us while he was cleaning, left the keys in our hands, and the staff didn't explain to us how room cleaning works, nor other typical things. We found no staff at all day and night, and the restaurant in the hotel was always closed. - The hotel amenities description listed bike rental and a bus stop in front. There were neither bikes nor public transportation. They had to borrow bicycles from acquaintances to give them to us (I also paid for this in the package). When we arrived, they hadn't organized this, as it had already been agreed with the travel agency. I recommend updating the description. - What was absurd was that in order to have our towels changed, we had to put them on the floor, otherwise they wouldn't change them for us (which is what happened).

15/10/2025: The hotel is a bit dated, with some of the furniture also quite old. The rooms are clean, and the towels are changed daily. Overall, it's very comfortable, as are the soaps. The breakfast was decent. The service was very attentive. Overall, my opinion is positive.

11/10/2025: Hotel Kroma in Ragusa — a short review: --- Positive: Clean facility: the rooms and common areas are well-maintained, with no obvious hygiene issues. Decent breakfast: sufficient variety, fresh products, and prompt service. Convenient location: probably a good base for visiting Ragusa and the surrounding area. --- Less positive / Areas for improvement: Dated appearance: the furnishings, decor, and perhaps even the finishes need updating to make it more modern and welcoming. Slightly outdated design: colors, furniture, and fabrics could be updated to offer a more contemporary experience. Comfort could be improved: with small improvements (lighting, bathrooms, and upholstery), the overall impression would be significantly improved. --- Overall rating: Hotel Kroma remains a good choice if you're looking for cleanliness and functionality, with a decent breakfast. However, if you're sensitive to style and modern comfort, be prepared to make some compromises—with some aesthetic investment, it could really improve and become excellent.

12/06/2025: Good pizza.Friendly service.The restaurant was recommended to us,over several others in the town,and it proved to be right.We arrived as they opened and got a table straight away. Book in advance if you plan to go at peak times

30/07/2025: Il personale è disponibile e molto cortese.Ottimi gli antipasti,i primi piatti ed anche i secondi.Altrettanto buona la pizza e anche i cocktail...consiglio vivamente lo spritz al limoncello.Prezzi giusti.Se vai a Favignana per forza devi andare al Nautilus.Complimenti ad Alessandro!!!

26/07/2025: Servizio pessimo! 4 thè freddi serviti a mano senza vassoio, "abbandonati" sul tavolo senza bicchieri e, quando li abbiamo chiesti, ci hanno portato quelli di plastica, per la modica cifra di 5 euro cad. uno. Assurdo! Cameriere molto cupo. Mai più!

27/04/2025: I saw one of Messina's historic restaurants as a child and several years have passed, the food is quite good, yesterday I tasted the pasta with swordfish bottarga which was good, the other dishes were also satisfactory, prices were normal for ganzirri and unlike other places the kitchen was still open even though it was almost midnight. It has closed permanently, update yourself

24/06/2025: La mia esperienza in questo ristorante è stata decisamente negativa. Il pesce crudo, che avrebbe dovuto essere il punto di forza del menù, era chiaramente al limite di freschezza, se non passato. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è inaccettabile: prezzi alti per piatti privi di gusto, mal bilanciati e dall’aspetto trascurato. L’estetica è trascurata, con accostamenti discutibili e una cura inesistente per i dettagli. Inaccettabile poi trovare nel piatto il carapace del granchio lasciato lì senza alcun criterio: una scelta di pessimo gusto, che compromette sia la fruibilità del piatto che l’esperienza complessiva. Unica nota positiva, la possibilità di cenare all’esterno con vista sulla piazza. Peccato che anche questa venga rovinata da una postazione scomodissima, con tavoli così stretti da rendere difficile l'accesso

22/06/2025: Molto deludente. I balconcini panoramici sulla piazza, sono piccolissimi e scomodi. I decantati piatti di pesce senza carattere, sapori slegati e, per questo, ingiustificatamente costosissimi . Spaghetti all'astice meno che mediocri, della pasta tipo gnocchetti con broccoli e gamberi rossi di Mazara, con gamberi senza sapore assolutamente non freschi ed affogati in un incomprensibile sugo con broccoli che induce seri interrogativi sul percorso formativo dello chef. Insipidi e malamente riscaldati gli antipasti. Dulcis in fundo, cannoli siciliani insignificanti ripieni solo ai lati, con cannolo praticamente per lo più vuoto. Il conto è stato il colpo di grazia 241 euro in due. Questo ristorante è un enorme bluff.

15/08/2025: Thank god we did not read the reviews before getting here! We have been twice during our stay in Taormina. Although it might be a tourist trap, delicious food and great service with waitstaff who are so friendly. Don’t be an entitled tourist and you’ll be OK.
