20/05/2026: Very disappointing experience. The staff was rude from the moment we arrived and made us feel completely unwelcome. We found hair in the food, and the clams were clearly not fresh and badly overcooked. When we tried to politely explain that we were unhappy with the meal and service, the staff refused to listen and dismissed our concerns entirely. Despite the poor treatment, we were still forced to pay a service fee, which felt unreasonable considering the way we were treated. The overall attitude of the staff made us feel like a burden, even to the point of dropping the menus in front of us without basic courtesy. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had.
17/05/2026: Good food, but very slow and evasive service that does not follow up with customers during dinner.
One of the main courses did not come with the others. The waiter noticed it and said - "wait a minute". We waited thirty minutes for it to arrive😔
The service showed no understanding that it was poor service.

20/05/2026: Servers are indifferent and inattentive. Food was just ok. We got a glass of wine which might have been 3 ounces, at best . Clearly they know it's mainly tourists coming in and they're one and done so they don't really give a damn. I wouldn't recommend this place. My bad for not reading all the lousy recent reviews before going in.
17/05/2026: You wonder what the staff are doing, between the one who delays you and doesn't take your order, and the one who should be taking it but doesn't either, no smiles, just the bill

27/12/2025: We had a wonderful three hour lunch at Il Grottone. The fresh seafood platter and the prawn tartare were superb. We ordered two type of seafood pasta, both amazing. Followed by a seabream with grilled vegetables. We couldn't stop eating, so we also ordered a grilled octopus. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!!

Truly exceptional, simple but very tasty.

Pizza it's not served for the lunch.

Siamo stati da Leo’s con amici e ci siamo trovati benissimo, dal servizio educato e attento alla qualità della materia prima . Se posso consigliare due piatti là tartare e la costata servita su pietra lavica. Spero di tornarci presto

20/07/2025: Sono tornato qui dopo tanti anni. Location bellissima, come sempre. Cibo non buono (come sempre, servizio di bassissimo livello (questa e’ una novità).
Ristorante adatto a stranieri. Gli italiani non si troveranno mai bene qui per la qualità del cibo.

29/06/2025: Service expéditif, pas du tout attentionné. L’assiette de l’un de mes enfants a été retiré alors qu’elle n’avait pas terminé et même après l’avoir signalé, on m’a traité comme si j’étais en faute. Quant à la nourriture, la note de 3 suffit aussi.
21/05/2025: Onbegrijpelijk dat het hier niet drukker is. Het is echt heerlijk! De kaart is klein, maar top!!.
Ook genoten van het dessert.

26/04/2025: Posto molto bello e personale preparato e cortese. Pesce crudo e cotto come antipasto fantastico e profumato. Tonno alla brace buonissimo, mentre i primi erano soltanto "buoni". Il pesce è davvero buono ma, come ogni cosa, la qualità costa.
26/04/2025: Questo locale è situato fuori dal centro di Polignano. Abbiamo pranzato insieme a degli amici sia a base di pesce crudo che cotto:tutto eccellente dalla qualità del cibo, al servizio,all'estetica del locale. Lo consiglio vivamente!

28/04/2025: Siamo venuti su segnalazione dei Tripadvisor.
Locale un po’ fuori mano che spesso è un pregio.
Abbiamo trovato un ambiente caldo e informale pieno di citazioni e immagini della storia del rock.
L’oste bassista con una bella felpa dei Pink Floyd ci ha spiegato il menù essenziale ma gustoso con fuori menù interessanti.
Lo chef batterista si impegna per preparare fritti leggerissimi, prova alici e carciofi. Ottimi.
Tagliolini ai frutti di mare buono ed abbondanti.
Fritto misto buono e leggero.
Spiedo con polipo seppia e gambero bello ma un’amica che lo ha preso ha ritenuto che il polpo fosse un po’ crudo.
Falanghina della casa ottima.
Conto sotto la media.
Avrei dato 5 se avessero aldato più spazio a preziosi prodotti di stagione come fave e carciofi.
Personale simpatico e disponibile.
Ve lo consiglio caldamente.
