06/07/2025: Permanently closed. A McDonald's will open in its place. What a shame!

26/06/2025: Seeing a place so clean and quiet open late at night was surprising, and finding such friendly, helpful, and smiling staff was even more surprising. Although it could be considered just a "food court," it turned out to be better than many other places.

05/04/2026: A lovely venue in the San Salvario area; I went there for a graduation party. The evening was planned as a buffet, with the dishes laid out on a counter where you could help yourself. The food was very good and varied; the buffet replenished very quickly once one dish was sold out.

02/04/2026: I celebrated my graduation here, and I couldn't have chosen a better place! The owner, whom I thank very much, was extremely helpful and kind, as was all the staff. They reserved a section of the venue just for us (given the number of people), a detail we truly appreciated and which made the atmosphere even more special, especially for the type of occasion. The food is served buffet-style, always well-stocked throughout the evening, with various options for vegetarians, vegans, and those with lactose intolerances. Everything was delicious! The venue is well-kept and welcoming, perfect for events of this type. Overall, the organization was well done, and we felt cared for at all times without ever being intrusive. A place I would definitely recommend!

18/07/2026: Best seafood aperitif in Turin! Hands down! Fresh fish, a generous platter for two, and a great price! The atmosphere is refined, and the cocktails are delicious! Made by Mark. The ladies at the restaurant, Doriana and Martina, are incredibly kind in explaining the chef's creations. We had an aperitif for two and were more than satisfied! Next time, we'll have dinner. Very varied and gourmet menu, with just the right portions for a relaxing evening. We went to compliment Marvin, the chef, on the quality of his dishes. Cocktail bar open late! Highly recommended!!!!

13/07/2026: The restaurant seems to be new and the food and ambience is different than the Google pictures. So much better than expected. It was an amazing dinner with creative and tasty food. There was a fresh welcome drink and a nice selection of wines. Service was super attentive. The place is tastefully decorated. I would go there every time I'm in Turin 😊

18/07/2026: Great brunch spot. Very friendly, family-run place with reasonable prices and good food. The menu is fairly limited, but everything is cooked well and made to order - make sure to check the boards inside, since not everything is listed in the menu. My favorite is the 'avocado toast completo' with smoked salmon and a fried egg on top.

30/06/2026: I go there every now and then, because it's also convenient for other nearby businesses. Last time, however, I had to note that when I commented that it wasn't very nice for customers to touch the sandwiches and snacks with their hands, the owner—at least I think she is—responded sharply, even raising her voice, claiming that they wash their hands often, and therefore my comment wasn't relevant. I also mentioned this to other people, who confirmed they had noticed this, but had simply remained silent. Edit after the owner's response: I confirm that I was completely polite from start to finish, and that I said "good job" to her as the last thing before leaving, after she, repeatedly raising her voice, polemically stated that she would take my advice into consideration. Customers are supposed to be customers, but if a customer politely points out that they don't like you touching the food they're about to eat with their hands, the most sensible response would be "Sorry, you're right." Which the owner didn't do, instead displaying an aggressive and disrespectful attitude toward those who had just paid for a service that was clearly subpar.

03/01/2026: The Norman cubo, a thin brioche with pistachio cream, is simple and delicious. Coffee is served with a small glass of sparkling water. A little away from the crowds, it's a lovely spot for a snack.

16/12/2025: About 8 months ago a group of us had our monthly meeting at this particular cafe. The ratings are from that visit. In general we found a philosophical disconnect. The service and prices seemed to target high end customers while at least the café offerings (not meals) and the decor were reminiscent of Las Vegas casinos. At the same time, the customers who were there when we visited were few and were all demonstrable working class locals or tourists. --- Coming forward to 15/12/25: We had noted some paper signs on the windows and the fact that this landmark was closed about 2 months ago. In fact it was closed on September 10, 2025. Today, finally one of us had a chance to pass by on foot. The photos are from this visit. It was still closed. According to the sign the café is in police custody. According to local news reports there's an ongoing investigation into fraud, perhaps to the tune of up to 100 million euros. Sometimes businesses come back after this kind of scrutiny and sometimes not.

01/04/2026: A refuge on the Claviere slopes, a beautiful and welcoming place, with same-day reservations available. After an international ski trip, it's a great place to rest and relax. The lunch was excellent, featuring dishes prepared more like a Michelin-starred restaurant than a refuge, without detracting from the rural essence of the meal. Service was fast, and the staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling, even though we arrived a little late for our reserved table. Lunch was pleasant and well-received, with a good portion of food that was filling. I'll be back.

19/01/2026: Today, I stopped in for lunch. The very friendly staff welcomed me, and I chose the set menu, which I found to be excellent. The dishes were hot and arrived quickly, without too much of a wait. The atmosphere was very clean, and the price/quality ratio was excellent.

04/02/2026: THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE IL RITROVO RESTAURANT IN PORTO EMPEDOCLE, SICILY We were immediately impressed by the warm welcome; the menu is truly inviting. The panelle and paranza pasta are truly delicious, masterfully fried; the seafood salad and fried calamari are excellent. We took the dessert home and ate it after dinner; it was excellent with toasted almonds and ricotta. Highly recommended!
