10/05/2025: I wasn't very enthusiastic about it. The pizza was too spongy, the tomato flavor was absent, you could only taste the mozzarella and the dough. Never again.

09/04/2025: Ritornati in questo ristorante per un pranzo post cerimonia. Come sempre il trattamento è stato ottimo, cibo eccellente vino di ottima qualità. I commensali (oltre 60) si sono tutti dichiarati molto molto soddisfatti anche per il servizio e l'ambiente familiare.

17/03/2025: Locale nel centro storico,ambiente sul rustico,cucina tipica piemontese e non solo. Ordinato strozzapreti con cavolo nero,burrata,acciughe e mandorle,piatto molto coreografico ma in sostanza alcuni ingredienti non risultano molto amalgamati in particolare le acciughe che essendo intere e non sciolte nel condimento danno punte di salato al palato annullando gli altri sapori. Secondo tagliata di scamone con patate al forno,accompagnato da una salsina risultata piuttosto aspra,che non lega con il piatto,la carne era a cottura media come da richiesta e in porzione abbondante anche se risultava un po' tiepida.Servizio cordiale e prezzi un po' sopra la media. Complessivamente giudizio abbastanza positivo,migliorabile.

09/04/2025: The entrance is tucked away at the end of a galeria but, once inside, it’s a different world. The first floor dining area overlooks the church and the mountains and you can watch the sun set. The staff are helpful, welcoming and attentive. We didn’t have a reservation but they gave us a lovely table by the window. The service was fast, despite their hosting 40-odd children on the lower floor on a ski trip. The food was fab, from proper Neapolitan-style pizzas to an enormous (serves more than one) salumi/charcuterie board to the tartare made from flavoursome regionally-bred beef. And superb value for money when compared to other local eateries (such as Pinky). Between my wife, my daughter and me, we’ve been coming to Sestriere for years but this is the first time we’ve been to Il Centro for years. Thoroughly recommended.

31/03/2025: Gastronomia da asporto 👎 Premetto che ogni tanto scegliamo di mangiare all'interno per la qualità del cibo e dell'atmosfera, PERÒ per quanto riguarda la gastronomia da asporto non vi è molta scelta (non si trova tutto ciò che hanno nel "menù gastronomia" e soprattutto non hanno un servizio di scalda vivande per chi sceglie di prendere e mangiare all'aperto). PECCATO!!!! I prezzi alti sono giustificati per la qualità che hanno, ma almeno avere la possibilità di scegliere se scaldare un piatto che altrimenti mangiato freddo perde il suo sapore.

25/03/2025: Cena veloce con agnolotti classici di carne al sugo d'arrosto e cicoria aglio, olio e peperoncino. Calice di arneis. Cibo ottimo, personale molto disponibile.

04/05/2025: Beppe Gallina è ormai da anni una certezza per torinesi e turisti. In entrambi i locali situati a Porta Palazzo e a San Salvario si mangia pesce fresco con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. I piatti sono casalinghi, le porzioni abbondanti e il servizio semplice ma curato. La formula all inclusive (un piatto a scelta, un bicchiere di vino, acqua e focaccia) a 17 euro è geniale. Consigliatissimo.

25/04/2025: Sono stato per una cena con la famiglia in visita a Torino. Locale molto accogliente, cucina ottima preparata in maniera espressa proprio davanti a te. Sapori sopraffini, raffinati, sembrava di avere il mare in bocca. Complimenti per la gentilezza, la cortesia e la squisitezza dei piatti serviti. Consiglierò assolutamente e tornerò senza dubbio

18/05/2025: Today, Sunday, May 18, we went to Caffè San Carlo with my partner and our son, who is less than two years old. Even though the outside area was half empty, there was a line to get in. Some people passed us, but fortunately a waitress kindly let us sit. Unfortunately, once we were seated, the wait was very long. We saw several impatient customers get up and leave without even ordering. We too, after noticing that other tables that arrived later were being served before us, decided to do the same. I understand that Sunday can be a busy day, but I wonder how it is possible that a historic place in the center cannot even manage half of the available tables. With a small child, you expect a minimum of attention, not so much for a privilege, but to avoid uncomfortable situations for everyone — including the staff. But at least following the order of arrival should be the minimum. A real shame, because the location deserves a much higher level of service.

10/11/2024: Menu full of choices and excellent cuisine. Friendly and helpful owner. The place is welcoming and lends itself to any occasion, from a cheerful evening with friends, to exchanging a few words over a good dish with your children. Advised!

17/05/2025: Non esiste la possibilità di mettere zero stelle e la petizione per far chiudere un posto così scadente. Vendono un servizio lontano da quello che è il concreto rendimento finale. Cibo scadente come olio e prodotti tipici che naturalizzano come dop ma basta leggere le etichette e capire che si tratta di prodotti di massa. Arrivano le pizze bruciate e sporche alla base per mancanza di competenze,cosa che si vantano di possedere e non sanno che il forno ha una temperatura e una pulizia da rispettare. Mozzarella è salsa liquida perché non sanno che la mozzarella si taglia prima per rilasciare il suo siero in eccesso e la salsa priva di sapore non addensata (legata ). Pizza lievitata male che alla fine era solo un disco gommoso bruciata. Parliamo dei prodotti citati per il prezzo salsiccia da discount sbriciolata in quantità da cucchiaio. Ci alziamo da gran signori per pagare ma di certo non mi aspettavo 38 euro voluti a forza e con arroganza per un servizio così scadente. Vergogna

17/05/2025: There is no way to put zero stars and the petition to close such a shoddy place. They sell a service far from what the real final yield is. Poor food like oil and typical products that naturalize as dop but just read the labels and understand that they are mass products. The pizzas arrive burnt and dirty at the base due to a lack of skills, something they boast of having and they do not know that the oven has a temperature and cleanliness to respect. Mozzarella is liquid sauce because they do not know that the mozzarella is cut first to release its excess whey and the flavorless sauce is not thickened (bound). Poorly leavened pizza that in the end was just a burnt rubbery disk. Let's talk about the products mentioned for the price discount sausage crumbled in spoonful quantities. We get up like great lords to pay but I certainly did not expect 38 euros wanted by force and with arrogance for such a shoddy service that we could not even use. Shame

07/04/2025: Dico “purtroppo” perché invece l’hotel di cui fa parte è favoloso, e ci si aspettava quindi un ristorante all’altezza. Bellissima la location, come una residenza dei Savoia a tutti gli effetti. Ma i piatti badano solo all’apparenza, di fondo c’è poco o nulla. Antipasti mediocri, agnolotti completamente insapori. Zero carattere, zero personalità, pagati tra l’altro a caro prezzo. Non ci siamo.
