29/12/2025: The place was nice, but they made us wait an hour and a half for the food. Everything was terrible; the risotto with the milanesa was the worst, the meat was overcooked, like it was going to die. A bad experience.

28/12/2025: The food is average, nothing special. A humble waiter takes care of taking orders and bringing the food, he does everything himself. The price is reasonable for a restaurant in the center of Turin.

14/02/2026: I stayed for three nights and felt incredibly pampered by the staff, who were attentive and focused on my well-being. Extremely friendly, the room was clean, cozy, and especially warm, considering the cold weather I stayed in. As someone who walks a lot, I was very comfortable. Near the hotel, there are restaurants, bars, a pharmacy, and even a supermarket. I will definitely be back.

15/11/2025: Valentine's Day dinner 2025: a fairly varied set menu. We went to this restaurant because it's supposed to be a well-known name in the city. We entered and only after a while were we called to sit at the counter (quite uncomfortable for such a high-priced dinner). We were crammed in among bottles of wine and various decorations, even though there were still a few tables free (and they remained that way throughout the evening). After choosing the wine (the chef arrogantly wanted to choose for us even though we explicitly told him what we wanted), a plate of breadsticks, crackers, and bread arrived, not at all crispy and lacking in flavor. The dinner continued with quality dishes. At one point, the chef scolded one of the waiters (who had always been extremely kind and provided impeccable service) in front of the entire dining room. The icing on the cake was dessert and coffee at the end of the dinner. Only at a few tables did the chef serve strawberries with chocolate, leaving a few guests without them. Since it was a set menu, it should have been included with all courses. The food was good, though, it was a shame about the setting, which completely failed to live up to expectations and the bill.

12/03/2026: A charming, intimate place with delicious traditional Piedmontese dishes and generous portions. It's a shame we couldn't try everything, but it's a reason to return. You won't be disappointed.

10/03/2026: The quality of the food has deteriorated in recent years, the atmosphere is chaotic, poorly organized, and the customer is not listened to. Prices are excessive for the raw materials offered.

14/12/2025: More than at the restaurant, and referring to Mr. Alessandro, who organized the lunch on December 13, 2025, a truly starvation menu for €30 per course was offered. They left a small plate to share among 10-15 people. It was a scramble to get a course. Some dishonestly asked for seconds, preventing others from eating. Those who couldn't eat asked for a course, but were denied. At the end of the lunch, a lottery was held for each number, €10, but listen, the money raised, instead of being donated to charities such as a cancer association or a Christmas lunch for those who can't afford it, was donated to the railway museum in Robilante (CN).

28/12/2025: My husband and I had dinner on Saturday evening at this elegant restaurant located in the Starhotel Majestic in Turin. The dishes we chose were excellent, both in presentation and in quality. The only flaw was the octopus, which we thought was a bit tough. The quality/price ratio was reasonable. Special thanks to our waitress, Miss Valentina D., who served us with skill and professionalism.

04/02/2026: THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE IL RITROVO RESTAURANT IN PORTO EMPEDOCLE, SICILY We were immediately impressed by the warm welcome; the menu is truly inviting. The panelle and paranza pasta are truly delicious, masterfully fried; the seafood salad and fried calamari are excellent. We took the dessert home and ate it after dinner; it was excellent with toasted almonds and ricotta. Highly recommended!

10/12/2025: I'd like to respond to this review because it affects me personally. First of all, none of the three of us are minors, and you can see how seriously the place takes checking IDs. Secondly, we didn't enter the place with beers purchased from outside, but simply asked if the billiard room was free, but without going inside. When they told us we couldn't consume them inside, we replied that was fine and that we'd finish them outside before entering. From that moment on, the owner had already begun to show disrespectful behavior, probably because he had "three kids" in front of him, kicking us out of a gate where we'd stood (next to the bar) to finish our drinks. When we returned, he got angry while we were playing in the billiard room, removing the balls from the table. When we tried to say something, he started yelling (predictable from someone who drinks at work). We asked for water simply because one of us was thirsty, not to play for free, since you pay for billiards anyway, and we had paid to play. The rudeness was at its highest, and when we pointed it out to him, he came face-to-face with me, threatening me. And given that he believed one of us was a minor, I'd say this person's maturity is truly lacking. SHAME

22/02/2026: Fabulous restaurant. Our favourite up on the mountain. We had lunch as a party of 5 three times and tried lots from the menu. The pizzas are delicious, the nicest we ate on our trip to Sauze, the sausage and mushroom pasta was fab, the gnocchi too. The schnitzel was the stand out favourite for the boys by far! Stefano and Salvatore were the perfect hosts and all of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Great white wine, fabulous Aperol spritz and the limoncello finished the week off nicely. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back next time we are in Sauze.

13/02/2026: Peep poor service We were at the restaurant and not the hotel We told the lady when we arrived at the restaurant that we were ready to order: But she said we had to sit down first and then she would come down to us. We sat down and she never came, we went up to get her after 10 minutes and then she said she would probably come right away but she didn't we waited another 10 minutes and then she finally came… The waiter couldn't speak a word of English and couldn't even read their own menu…. Hopeless service The food was mediocre but shut up how bad is this Not recommended They are a disgrace compared to all the other good Italian restaurants

16/02/2026: Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Valentino Du Parc. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location is really convenient for exploring the city. Breakfast was good and included in the price – although it's served at Pasta e Basta, about 100 meters away, which wasn't a problem for us. The rooms were clean, although the sloping ceilings in the bathroom were a bit awkward, but not a major issue. The only minor drawback was that the room was a little warm. Overall, a pleasant stay and a good choice for a city break in Turin.

24/01/2026: Excellent hotel for the price. It looks recently renovated, isn't very central but is well connected, friendly staff from check-in to check-out, spacious and clean rooms, very comfortable rest, and highly recommended. We also opted for breakfast at a restaurant next to the hotel, which was also very good; not a huge amount but of good quality. I would definitely stay here again if I were back in the city :)

30/03/2026: We celebrated our birthday at this place. Let's start with the service, which was a bit disappointing as we had to ask for water several times after ordering, and it was brought after the appetizers. We had asked for the candles to be arranged a certain way on the cake, only three, but after telling us they were super cake experts, they arranged them exactly as they wanted, and only four. The first courses were forgettable: the cacio e pepe pasta was dry, practically pasta with pepper. The tomato pasta with burrata, on the other hand, was nothing special, not a restaurant dish. Now for the positives: the pizza was very good and the Fassona beef tartare was exceptional. The atmosphere was very beautiful and spacious. The musical evening was very engaging, thanks in part to the karaoke and the very talented and knowledgeable vocalist. I recommend this place for those who want to celebrate because the after-dinner atmosphere is very nice, but I recommend ordering pizza or, at least, not the first courses.

29/03/2026: The cheeseburger was cold, raw, and tasteless, and not even a visual delight, with a slice of cheddar that looked like Play-Doh, no sauce, and dried-out vegetables. The price was truly excessive: for 70 euros, you can eat a full menu at a fine restaurant, perhaps with a view of the Langhe hills, which are better than the palaces.

08/03/2026: Welcoming place, friendly and attentive staff. In the main room, there's a grill where the meat is expertly cooked to order. A wide selection on the menu, including wines. Excellent value for money. We'll be back!

07/03/2026: The risotto was also good, but... A smile to the customer who enters is a must; the registry office is more friendly; feeling people staring at you while you're eating because you have nothing to do isn't good, I felt uncomfortable, a lot of cringe; The lady (the mother) is smiling, but her children aren't; they can do other jobs, customers aren't taken for granted... and do smile; talking badly about other customers while you're tapping the receipt is a no-no, because I think you'll do the same to me. Kids, learn from your mother. We won't be back, bye.
