06/03/2025: Avevo vinto una box di Boscolo a un Premio Letterario (la Fine Dinner - 159 € per una cena per due persone) e ho scelto (ahinoi) questo ristorante. Ho avuto molte difficoltà nella prenotazione nonostante abbia seguito alla lettera le indicazioni e abbia chiesto più volte conferma telefonicamente, e, una volta giunti sul posto il proprietario (Nicola?) è venuto al nostro tavolo e in modo poco gentile ci ha detto che non potevamo usare la box perché bisognava attendere che Boscolo rispondesse (o qualcosa del genere, perché parole ne ha dette tante). Allora io ho risposto che avrei cenato altrove e ho fatto per alzarmi ma lui, piuttosto di cortese e trattandomi letteralmente come una barotta ignorante (o almeno, io in quel momento mi sono sentita tale), ha attivato tramite il sito di Boscolo la box e in meno di 15 secondi Boscolo ha risposto. Da quel momento la nostra cena è stata un incubo: frasette ironiche ma taglienti da parte del sig. Nicola che invece trattava gli altri clienti con deferenza, allusioni al fatto che io avessi "parlato fin troppo" quando invece avevo semplicemente spiegato che la prenotazione con la box mi era stata confermata con ben 2 telefonate e, alla fine, al momento di salutarci, si è ancora permesso di chiedermi se mi ero calmata! Io? Ha fatto tutto lui! Che non fossimo clienti graditi è stato chiaro fin dal primo momento, quando ci ha chiesto da dove arrivavamo e se eravamo già clienti, e la sua grande scortesia ci ha rovinato una serata di relax. Quanto al cibo, nulla da eccepire (se non che io e il mio compagno di questa avventura abbiamo dovuto PER FORZA scegliere gli stessi piatti perché così ha imposto l'onnipresente signor Nicola), ma un buon ristorante si valuta anche sul piano della cortesia... Insomma: un buon ristorante è dove ci si sente a proprio agio e non dove il proprietario o chi per lui ti umilia in continuazione? ESPERIENZA PESSIMA, OVVIAMENTE DA NON RIPETERE. Quanto al sig. Nicola... non glielo ha mica ordinato il medico di essere presente sulle box di Boscolo! Se tali clienti lui noni reputa all'altezza del suo locale, eviti accuratamente e scelga chi è degli di sedersi ai suoi tavoli!

19/01/2025: The food was very good, but unfortunately the dishes on the menu were too small and many were still hungry. The service was a bit robotic and they also didn't explain a dish, we had to ask what it was. Even they gave us 3 separate tables without notifying us. Usually for a larger reservation there is one table that can seat everyone or you are warned in advance that there will be separate tables. Furthermore, we were not always served at the same time, but one table was served food when the others had already almost finished. We also asked for a candle for the birthday girl but they couldn't even give us that. However, the dishes were very creative and we liked them a lot.

09/04/2025: The entrance is tucked away at the end of a galeria but, once inside, it’s a different world. The first floor dining area overlooks the church and the mountains and you can watch the sun set. The staff are helpful, welcoming and attentive. We didn’t have a reservation but they gave us a lovely table by the window. The service was fast, despite their hosting 40-odd children on the lower floor on a ski trip. The food was fab, from proper Neapolitan-style pizzas to an enormous (serves more than one) salumi/charcuterie board to the tartare made from flavoursome regionally-bred beef. And superb value for money when compared to other local eateries (such as Pinky). Between my wife, my daughter and me, we’ve been coming to Sestriere for years but this is the first time we’ve been to Il Centro for years. Thoroughly recommended.

12/05/2025: I'm sorry to lower two stars but the constant changes are starting to get boring. Increases in the cost of pizza every short time and microfiltered water at 3 euros are the final icing on the cake. It's no longer the place it once was!

11/05/2025: Pizza similar to the Neapolitan one but too high and undercooked therefore heavy. When I asked for a cognac I was served a grand marnier. . . Disappointing experience.

25/02/2025: Abbiamo cenato da Mamma mia con famiglia. Ordinato degli ottimi primi e focacce come antipasto veramente buona e soffice. Locale ampio e sala per feste private. Consiglio vivamente. Da ritornare per provare gli altri piatti e pizze . A presto.

25/04/2025: At the checkout I replied "everything ok" when asked how it went. After seeing the receipt I started laughing: they charged my 15 month old daughter a cover charge of 2.50 euros and she remained in my partner's arms for the entire lunch time. €8 for his penne with tomato sauce (asked for a baby portion and an adult one arrived). 25/04/2025: A surprising experience in every respect! From the pizza to the sliced ​​meat, up to the grilled fish: everything is simply impeccable. But what made the evening truly special were the chats, authentic and pleasant, a well-deserved 10/10! At first glance the place may seem simple, but it managed to positively surprise me from every point of view. Quality food, authentic flavors and a truly honest quality-price ratio. A special mention to the bread, truly spectacular, and the pizza dough: light, fragrant, perfect. My most sincere compliments to the staff!

03/12/2024: Distinguerei i vari aspetti del locale. Ambiente, personale e servizio, Super carini. Ho preso una pizza guidata dalle eccellenti recensioni. Il topper era buonissimo (cipolla, gorgonzola e salsiccia). Non ho apprezzato la base, molto sottile e biscottata. Avete presente Mulino Bianco Fiori d'acqua? ecco, quella è la consistenza. Per amanti del genere.
