03/05/2026: We started with a truly exceptional mixed antipasto: delicate flan, Fassona beef tartare with top-quality truffles, and perfectly prepared veal with tuna sauce.
The first courses confirmed the exceptionally high quality of the cuisine: creamy and flavorful Barolo risotto with Piedmontese toma cheese, fragrant porcini mushroom risotto, and simply delicious agnolotti del plin with the aroma of the Langhe.
The extensive and carefully selected wine list is perfect for accompanying every course.
Special praise goes to the staff and the owner, always attentive, courteous, and ready to offer the best possible advice. Generous portions and truly excellent value.
We'll definitely be back!

15/03/2026: We stayed (unfortunately) only one night at Cortiletto d'Alba during a family trip.
We were a group of nine and found them very accommodating to our needs.
This family-run establishment exudes the passion behind every detail.
The property is lovingly maintained and extremely clean.
We highly recommend it.
01/02/2026: Highly recommended restaurant; we celebrated my partner's 50th birthday here; they even made homemade vegan Sacher torte for the most discerning guests. Exceptional! They were able to satisfy all tastes. Thank you so much!

The dishes were very good, especially the zucchini blossoms.
The wine was very good.
The air-conditioned terrace was very pleasant.
Good value for money.
05/08/2026: We went to La Piola spontaneously for lunch when we visited Alba because we saw recommendations from locals on YouTube. We got a good table outside, we were there with our dog too. We had an amazing lunch, the agnolotti was one of the best we’ve ever had. Service was top-notch. Now it’s a must-go for whenever we are in Alba.

12/07/2026: The food is good, but wait for takeaway is horrible.
Took over 1 hour to receive the food, and they even failed with the ingredients/topping. Ordered a pizza with "Agilio, Cipolla, Funghi, Pocca Mozzarella, Prosciutto Crudo, Rucola and Scaglie Grana(Parmesan)", but there were no onion or garlic, instead they added nduja and olives...
Pizza slightly undercooked, but still good.

10/08/2026: Perfect! The staff is absolutely fantastic! You'll have a wonderful day: 3 children, 1 stroller, and 4 adults! The food is delicious, both the meat and the pizzas!

Takeaway is also an option. All dishes on the menu are available for takeaway.

Easy to walk past but well worth visiting. Some of the nicest food that we ate on our trip to Alba. Easily catered for my vegetarian wife. We booked in the week but wasnt overly busy. I imagine this is nkt the case during busier seasons
26/06/2026: The food was well-prepared and the spaghetti was truly excellent, with a nice wine list at reasonable prices. The service was a shame: the dishes arrived one after the other at a frenetic pace, and the place wasn't even full. Rather than a pleasant dinner, it seemed like they were trying to hurry us along—as if they didn't understand the proper timing for a high-end restaurant, or simply didn't care.

13/06/2026: I ate here with my best friend for dinner and was very pleased. The food was tasty—I had an excellent Margherita pizza—and the service was quite fast, with friendly waiters. The location was nice and well-kept. I highly recommend the pizzeria; reservations are also recommended, as it's always busy.

The fact that it's still open and run by the same family is a real plus.
Aiello and his wife always give it their all!
09/05/2026: I ate at this pizzeria tonight: the pizza is delicious, the place is comfortable, and the service is impeccable and fast. Everything is affordable. I highly recommend it 😊
