28/01/2025: For years now we have been treating ourselves to a "special treat" once a week by going to 21.1. beautiful place where you eat with a background of Neapolitan music which makes their dishes even better (if that's possible). Alfonso, the chef, puts his heart into every preparation and you can feel it in every bite. Francesco is in the room and is very knowledgeable about wines and every time he gives us poetry in the glasses. Top notch service, always attentive, present but never intrusive. Thank you for making our evenings special. 🥂

12/01/2025: Very well-kept, somewhat cool atmosphere but warm welcome. Small menu (positive), huge wine list with a large selection of champagne with 304 positions, plus Barbaresco and Barolo with vintage depth. Everything at fairly calculated prices. We chose the four-course Langhe menu with Vitello tonnato, the best we've eaten so far, with excellent Vitello cooked to perfection and an ingenious tuna sauce. Then tagliolini al limone with the finest lemon sauce, of course without cream or anything similar. Perfectly cooked al dente and with a finely balanced lemon flavor. The Brasato al Barolo as the third course, the finest beef, braised until tender with a wonderful Barolo sauce. A light pannacotta for dessert. As an aperitif an Alta Langa DOCG and with dinner a Barolo Bussia 2015 from Fenocchio, which delighted us more with every sip. An excellent menu in a pleasant atmosphere with very good service at a fair price. Keep it up.

06/01/2025: Overall we ate well. However, we would have liked to try the white truffle but when ordering we were informed that it was not available despite both the menu displayed outside the restaurant (on the pedestal that allows you to consult the dishes before entering) and the menu brought to the table with the dishes with the white truffles were present and no one warned us that they were not available until the moment of ordering. I believe that if a restaurant in Alba does not have white truffles (displayed on the menu) it should warn a customer in advance who is most likely sitting at one of its tables to try it.

01/02/2025: Very friendly and fast staff. Very simple place. The prices in my opinion are high compared to the quality of the pizzas.

28/01/2025: Only ate appetizer as the kitchen was closed. Great hospitality, good food and good beer. The only flaw is the prices, it's very expensive. I bought 2 medium beers (0.5l), appetizer (8 pieces of bagasce, i.e. fried pizza dough with raw ham and lard), 2 bitters of their own production and a bottle of water, total €54! Of which only €3 per person cover charge only, seems a bit excessive to me.

05/03/2025: Un posto curato e accogliente, frequentato da gente del luogo e viandanti. Menu che va al sodo, senza tanti fronzoli e titoli roboanti. Il servizio è puntuale, veloce e gentile. Un posto caldo dove si sta bene e si può anche chiacchierare rilassati. Ottimi gli antipasti e l'assaggio di salumi offerto. Fantastici i tajerin con cipollotti e guanciale. Era tanto tempo che non mangiavo un primo così gustoso. Bunet come si deve. Ampia scelta di vini. Buono anche il Barbera in caraffa. Prezzo onestissimo. Complimenti ragazze e ragazzi, anche per il nome del locale. Consiglio vivamente.

14/02/2025: Osteria calda e carina; personale gentile ed efficiente. Cibo tipico, molto buono e fresco, anche il vino della casa, un calice di nebbiolo era molto buono La carne cruda ed il vitello tonnato pressoché perfetti Conto economico

15/01/2025: We went to this restaurant on our visit to Alba because we wanted to eat pizza. The pizzas were good but they won't be the best we've ever had. The desserts left something to be desired, tasteless despite the chocolateiness of one of them. It was the only restaurant where we felt a little uncomfortable with the service because we didn't speak the local language. Dinner was going quietly until they occupied the table next to us and we had the feeling of having dinner with the people who occupied it since they were literally a few centimeters away.

In carta , il bollito , il fritto misto e la finanziera .Piatti della cucina piemontese Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto misto e un vitello tonnato , a seguire la finanziera, ( eccezionale) una buona bottiglia di Nebbiolo d'Alba della Cantina Trediberri in abbinamento e per finire un ottimo gelato Piatti ben presentati , servizio professionale ,conto corretto ,i complimenti ve li meritate
