03/05/2026: We started with a truly exceptional mixed antipasto: delicate flan, Fassona beef tartare with top-quality truffles, and perfectly prepared veal with tuna sauce.
The first courses confirmed the exceptionally high quality of the cuisine: creamy and flavorful Barolo risotto with Piedmontese toma cheese, fragrant porcini mushroom risotto, and simply delicious agnolotti del plin with the aroma of the Langhe.
The extensive and carefully selected wine list is perfect for accompanying every course.
Special praise goes to the staff and the owner, always attentive, courteous, and ready to offer the best possible advice. Generous portions and truly excellent value.
We'll definitely be back!

15/03/2026: We stayed (unfortunately) only one night at Cortiletto d'Alba during a family trip.
We were a group of nine and found them very accommodating to our needs.
This family-run establishment exudes the passion behind every detail.
The property is lovingly maintained and extremely clean.
We highly recommend it.
01/02/2026: Highly recommended restaurant; we celebrated my partner's 50th birthday here; they even made homemade vegan Sacher torte for the most discerning guests. Exceptional! They were able to satisfy all tastes. Thank you so much!

The dishes were very good, especially the zucchini blossoms.
The wine was very good.
The air-conditioned terrace was very pleasant.
Good value for money.
05/08/2026: We went to La Piola spontaneously for lunch when we visited Alba because we saw recommendations from locals on YouTube. We got a good table outside, we were there with our dog too. We had an amazing lunch, the agnolotti was one of the best we’ve ever had. Service was top-notch. Now it’s a must-go for whenever we are in Alba.

10/08/2026: Perfect! The staff is absolutely fantastic! You'll have a wonderful day: 3 children, 1 stroller, and 4 adults! The food is delicious, both the meat and the pizzas!

Takeaway is also an option. All dishes on the menu are available for takeaway.

The selection of pizzas made with different flours, in various sizes, and customizable to your liking is perfect for a delicious meal. The classic pizzas and focaccia are quite large, so I opted for a smaller size – the Soffocatta (pictured). Everything is delicious: pizzas, pasta (Agnolotti Al Plin, Lasagna...), baked egg with Parmesan cheese...

15/08/2026: Very nice restaurant with great food and wine. We tried the revisited vitello tonatto as entrée, then the tajarin pasta with black truffle and the gnocchi with shrimpd as mains. Everything tasted great, all cooked perfectly and not too salty. We also shared dessert, the sfogliatella with melon chantilly cream, which was crispy yet lacking a bit of lemon taste to our liking, but it was very good overall. Good experience, we highly recommand this restaurant.
10/08/2026: It was a very pleasant dinner, the dishes were carefully prepared and tasty, with the shrimp gnocchi being the undisputed star. We discovered this restaurant thanks to the Michelin Guide and hope to return to Alba soon for another dinner at Ventuno.1. Kudos to the staff!

20/06/2026: Great atmosphere, extremely friendly service, and fantastic food! The dishes are fresh and incredibly delicious. A particular insider tip is the cheese platter for dessert – the combination with honey and local jam is outstanding. Highly recommended!

The location was nice and well-kept. I highly recommend the pizzeria; reservations are also recommended, as it's always busy.
