Let yourself be captivated by the colors, the shapes, and the generous exuberance of the offerings, course after course, to rediscover the aromas of the meadows, the garden, the shrimp, the meat broth, the vegetable purees, the sauces, and the ancient cuisine. It's impossible not to be grateful to those who start you off with a "Piedmontese appetizer" consisting of 12 (twelve) + 1 tastings. And Piedmont is lost and rediscovered in every dish, beneath a cloud of fragrant flowers, countless herbs, and incredible broths, in a world tour of flavors.
You dance for hours with your taste buds and leave happy.
01/04/2026: A truly thrilling dinner. The wait staff was highly knowledgeable and available to answer any questions, requests, or simple curiosities. Dishes were elaborately prepared yet seemingly simple. Delicate yet bold flavors, a blend of unexpected elements and pairings unthinkable to us "commoners." The sommeliers were very knowledgeable despite the encyclopedia-like wine list. The chef was almost shy, yet his presence alone exuded personality. The atmosphere was deliberately minimalist. The bill met expectations.

15/03/2026: We stayed (unfortunately) only one night at Cortiletto d'Alba during a family trip.
We were a group of nine and found them very accommodating to our needs.
This family-run establishment exudes the passion behind every detail.
The property is lovingly maintained and extremely clean.
We highly recommend it.
01/02/2026: Highly recommended restaurant; we celebrated my partner's 50th birthday here; they even made homemade vegan Sacher torte for the most discerning guests. Exceptional! They were able to satisfy all tastes. Thank you so much!

08/03/2026: It's a shame to write this, but it's true. We went there as a last resort, as it was the one and only place in Alba that had a table for two available on a Sunday evening... and given how the evening went, it was a blessing in disguise!
A top food and wine experience! The wine cellar is exceptional, the ingredients are spectacular, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and competent.
Thank you for giving us the last table.

What can I say? Everything was excellent.
From the location to the food to the service.
A dream wine list. 100 pages of tablets with an incredible selection of local wines.
I was especially struck by the great honesty in the wine prices; I was amazed by the wide variety at truly fair prices.
Everything else was also honest, and the service was very kind and attentive, truly pleasant. What can I say... highly recommended.

Fantastic experience. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable: their recommendations for local wine and the final amaro were spot on.
The traditional dishes are delicious, and honestly, I wasn't expecting them to be so generous. You eat really well and leave feeling full. All at a fair price that reflects the quality of the offerings.
Highly recommended if you're looking for authenticity and substance!
03/04/2026: I tried both the regular risotto and a classic Piedmontese dessert.
The risotto was incredibly flavorful.
The dessert was soft and tender with a crunchy biscuit base.
I experienced different textures.

08/03/2026: Truly spectacular pizzas! Light dough, quality ingredients, and consistently delicious combinations: one of the best pizzas we've ever eaten. The restaurant itself is also highly commended; the atmosphere is welcoming and always a great place to be.
A great plus is the ability to customize your pizza: you can choose from different doughs, sizes, and ingredients, essentially creating a "do-it-yourself" pizza. We really appreciated this feature because it allows everyone to find the perfect combination.
The real added value, however, is the staff: the owners and staff are incredibly friendly, young, professional, and always super-friendly. They make you feel right at home, and it's always a pleasure to return.
It's become our favorite place every time we stop by. A special thanks to Federica, who always recognizes us and welcomes us with her smile ❤️
Highly recommended, we'll be back again and again!

16/03/2026: A charming, informal, and welcoming place. The menu is simple and homely, without too many frills or "gourmet" dishes. Everything is delicious, but the roast beef is truly noteworthy. Service is fast, friendly, and very attentive. Highly recommended.

04/01/2026: My husband and I visited La Piola Duomo recently and were unfortunately disappointed. Most of our dishes arrived cold. When we ordered the vanilla tart, we specifically asked if it was served warm; the waiter confirmed it was, yet it arrived ice cold. When we asked to have it heated, the waiter told us they simply 'couldn't do it.' To make matters worse, the host spent the entire evening drinking with other guests, which felt quite unprofessional for a restaurant of this caliber. While they did apologize and removed the cake from our bill at the end, the overall experience was a letdown.

Friendly service staff, but unfortunately very loud and crowded.
They tend to serve food quickly; we had to slow down the service a bit because they were reassigning tables multiple times.

25/01/2026: A pleasant discovery in the center of Alba.
A very well-kept and bright restaurant; we were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff.
The very unique menu draws inspiration from Piedmontese tradition but is heavily influenced by the Neapolitan-born chef, who offers a wide selection of meat and seafood dishes.
We opted for an appetizer and a first course each, and were very impressed with the first courses: the top-quality scialatielli and the chittara with snapper, both truly exquisite.
The quality/price ratio is average for a restaurant in the center of Alba.
Highly recommended.
04/01/2026: What a fabulous experience. My wife picked this place and it was amazing. The chef came out and shaved white truffles on our additions. Very pleasant to staff was fantastic. The dessert were awesome. I highly recommend going.

We were disappointed that they didn't have any gluten-free options other than salad and a few appetizers/main courses, so those with us had to stick to salad and crackers.
Fast service and fair prices.
18/10/2025: Tonight we were not at all satisfied, we ordered two pizzas and a mixed fish appetizer for €16 on the list... the main courses arrived and the mixed fish platter, besides being rather paltry in itself (considering the purchase price), contained within it and all its splendor three prawns in aurora sauce, I cut off their heads and opened their backs: full of intestinal poop. 🤦♂️ I called the waiter and explained the mix-up and asked for the plate to be taken back. Damn, you're serving me "three prawns in total and dirty ones too"!?!?!? I made my peace with it and asked for a pizza, obviously when my wife and daughter finished dinner I started. Not good at all, neither praise nor infamy, literally burned underneath. The owner passes by and asks us to leave the table because it's getting late 🫤 (really?!?!?!) No sooner said than done, we immediately get up and go to the cash register. The husband leaves the register and calls the owner... she exhorts us like this: they told me there was a problem, well yes, the shrimp had poop in them, "but I have to charge you anyway"!!! I politely reiterated that I hadn't even touched the dish and, with a photo in hand, I wouldn't eat it with poop on it for anyone. She blushes and only makes me pay the amount due. A real shame, I felt bad just having to mention it..."I would have expected at least an apology", but what can I say, truly disappointing.

09/11/2025: Satisfied. The food was excellent; we had ravioli del plin with meat sauce and tiramisu, which were truly delicious. Fast service, friendly staff, excellent prices. The restaurant is centrally located but on a quiet street. In the future, if we have the opportunity, we will definitely return.
