28/09/2025: An absolutely unforgettable experience at Piazza Duomo in Alba, led by the extraordinarily talented chef Eduardo Crippa. What stood out most for me was not only the exquisite food but the impeccable service—warm, professional, and almost theatrical in its flawless choreography. The young staff carried everything with grace and humor, creating a truly joyful atmosphere.
It felt like watching a perfectly rehearsed dance: courses arriving in unison for both of us, glasses refilled seamlessly, and plates whisked away the moment they were finished—so light on their feet, I was in awe. It’s no surprise that Piazza Duomo has earned its three Michelin stars.
We chose The Journey—eight incredible courses. Just when we thought we couldn’t possibly eat another bite, a new dish would arrive and somehow we found room to savor it all over again. The staff’s knowledge was exceptional; they anticipated every question, explained each dish with clarity, and even surprised us with an extra course tailored specifically to our preferences—something they had thoughtfully asked about before our reservation.
A dining experience that was not just a meal, but a true work of art.

08/10/2025: We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The scent of truffles filled the air, adding a luxurious touch to the whole evening. We also really enjoyed the biodynamic wine – it was excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. Highly recommended!

We have mixed antipasti that contains 4 items in generous size and very tasty! And we also get extra salad
The Tajarin and Ravioli were also delicious
Highly Recommended!

07/10/2025: As an "expat" from Campania here in Alba, it's normal for me to have fairly high standards when it comes to pizza.
Yet I've never been dissatisfied at La Duchessa. Their pizza is excellent, with excellent dough and excellent cooking. They're generous with the toppings, and they have a varied menu, from classic pizzas to more unusual ones.
The staff works incredibly hard (especially during peak season) but always maintains a remarkable friendliness, despite the volume of work.
The atmosphere is a bit noisy when the place is full, both inside and out, but nothing serious.
The prices are very fair considering we're in the north; you can't expect pizza to be the same as in Naples or Salerno (and even there, prices skyrocket in some places).
All in all, an excellent place with a family atmosphere; I'll gladly return again.

11/09/2025: We really enjoyed the fabulous dishes which are more or less fusion kitchen between Napoli and Piemont. The fish was so fresh and prepared in such a smart way which definitely deserve the 5 stars.
The Ambiente is modern, stylish and clean. It wasn’t loud and we could nicely communicate during dinner even though guests were served on all tables.
31/08/2025: The appetizer was the most delicious but unfortunately the truffle pasta was bad. The pasta was really sticky and difficult to eat.
The service was basically friendly but sometimes a bit arrogant.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and especially on the terrace very atmospheric.

05/10/2025: Today, on the occasion of the Palio, we went to eat at Punto Amico. We found a beautiful place, very kind staff, very good food and an unparalleled quality/price ratio. We will definitely be back.

Excellent quality
Of course, the price of €16 for a canteen menu seems excessive to me... but at the same time, it's okay.

14/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant. We ate at the tables outside and it was great. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely return if I'm in Alba again.
12/10/2025: The location is reminiscent of an old trattoria, but unfortunately, despite the good, well-prepared food, I found it expensive for what it offers. For example, the beef fillet, at €36, seemed excessive for a restaurant that aims to maintain an informal atmosphere.

16/10/2025: Fine restaurant, delicious pizza. The only downside is the toilet. The food is excellent, and the owner has been doing it for 50 years. Take your time and be grateful that someone his age still makes such an effort and gives his best. We'll be back...

03/04/2025: Wer in Alba ist muss unbedingt in dieses Restaurant! Ich habe selten solch ein kulinarisches Highlight erlebt wie hier. Das Essen ist vorzüglich, der Service top und auch die Herzlichkeit der Angestellten findet sich selten wie hier. Neben hervorragenden Essen findet sich auch eine top Weinauswahl bei der für absolut jeden etwas dabei ist. Für mich ist ein Besuch dieses Restaurants jedes Mal wenn ich in Alba bin ein absolutes Highligt!
16/03/2025: Piatti davvero buoni e bellissimi anche da vedere, grissini squisiti, personale attento e molto gentile. Consigliatissimo!
