01/11/2025: I highly recommend visiting Trattoria del Porto. The welcome is exquisite, as are the traditional dishes served with love. The service is highly trained, friendly, and very polite (even considering we arrived a little late). The cuisine is excellent, and the set menu allows you to try everything, with appropriate portions for each course. A fantastic experience for my fiancée and I.

17/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner. Everything was perfect. Attention to detail and special dishes. The foie gras buttons and pigeon breast were perfect. Chef Andrea is a special person. Kind, gentle, and uniquely polite. Great qualities in addition to extraordinary professional talent. A well-deserved success.

The dishes are spectacular, not only aesthetically but also for their balance, technique, and depth of flavor. Each course tells a story, with top-quality ingredients enhanced by creative, never forced pairings. The presentations are true works of art, always at the service of flavor, making each dish surprising and harmonious. The service is impeccable, attentive, professional, and perfectly timed, without ever being stiff or aloof. The staff demonstrates great expertise and passion, accompanying the experience with clear and precise explanations, anticipating every need with ease and elegance. Everything is enveloped in a magical atmosphere, where time and hustle and bustle seem to stand still, leaving room only for the pleasure of the cuisine and the moment. A restaurant that offers more than just dinner, but a complete and refined experience, absolutely worth experiencing at least once.

01/02/2026: This is my second visit to this place, and I fully confirm my excellent impression. A welcoming atmosphere, friendly, helpful, and professional staff, and truly delicious dishes. The welcome drink and the sweet treats at the end were much appreciated. A place where you feel good and want to return.

26/01/2026: A warm welcome, a listening ear, and a smile are as important as the food itself: unfortunately, they were lacking here. I appreciated the bread served in a pot—a nice idea. As for the first courses, however, they were nothing special: the gnocchi resembled industrial products, with a dry, poorly structured ragù, while the pasta was completely overcooked. Overall, a disappointment.

18/01/2026: I returned after many years with my husband and children, and the memories I had lived up to my expectations even after so many years. The hospitality, food, and atmosphere have always been the best, and continue to be so. My husband and children were delighted and kept repeating that everything was so good and that we'll be back often. Everything was perfect, see you soon.

19/11/2025: We spent one night nearby in Menaggio. The hotel recommended this restaurant to us. We were also allowed to use the shuttle service (pick-up and drop-off to/from the hotel) free of charge. So we treated ourselves to two fantastic, different set menus, including drinks. It was a feast! There's nothing more to say – simply delicious. Right at the beginning, even before ordering, we were served fresh, warm bread straight from the oven. After dessert, we were presented with a whole bottle each of Thymicello and the house Amaro! We could drink as much as we wanted – free of charge. Seriously – where else do you find that? It's incredible. And yes, you can't drink the whole bottle – obviously, but that's not the point. The gesture and the trust shown are amazing! The service was also very friendly, efficient, and attentive, just like in a Michelin-starred restaurant! It couldn't have been better, and it didn't need to be. A definite recommendation.

30/10/2025: Passing through with friends, we enjoyed this restaurant and ordered the tasting menu, which was very generous. We had a wonderful meal; the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the view of the lake was lovely. We highly recommend it.

05/01/2026: Very pleasant family friendly and warm, very old fashioned but with a well structured menu, with local specialties and researched flavors. The portions made you enjoy the whole meal without bloating, the wine list was very fine and the touches very personal on both food and place. The service was experienced and very pleasant. There’s is a children playground just by the church to stretch the legs afterwards. Totally recommend.

The menu is structured around four distinct identities: Lago, Mare, Valli, and Giardino, offering a precise and intelligent way of understanding territory, seasons, and intentions. Each menu feels internally coherent rather than thematic. The Lago dishes express restraint and depth, with flavours that are measured and quietly confident. Mare is handled with precision, favouring balance over intensity, while Valli introduces a richer, more grounded register without heaviness. Giardino, often the most revealing test of a kitchen, is thoughtful and complete, never treated as a secondary option. Across all paths, the cooking shows discipline and judgement. Ingredients are respected, combinations are purposeful, and nothing feels decorative or excessive. The pacing of the meal is unhurried and well considered, allowing the experience to unfold naturally. Service is discreet, attentive, and calm, contributing to an atmosphere that feels more composed than orchestrated. The wine pairings are intelligent and well aligned with each menu’s character, supporting the food rather than competing with it. Acquadolce is a restaurant that knows exactly what it wants to say and says it with consistency and ease. A place is defined by structure, balance, and quiet confidence. The restaurant leaves one with a genuine sense of well-being.

01/01/2026: Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. It took us about two and a half hours to finish an appetizer and a first course, despite the fact that there were only us and one other table in the dining room. It was a truly difficult wait to justify. The risotto was tasty, but unfortunately, it arrived lukewarm, a significant detail in a dish of this type. The espresso was also served lukewarm and tasted more like a Nespresso machine than the kind you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. A particularly negative note was the welcome glass: presented as a gesture of courtesy, it turned out to be a 15-euro charge, a decidedly bitter and inelegant surprise. There was also little attention paid to allergens and intolerances, an aspect that should be essential these days. The service, while friendly, clearly seemed unorganized and unprofessional. From a restaurant in a location like Lake Como, and especially given the final bill, one expects much more. Unfortunately, this is yet another disappointment in an area that often focuses on the view, forgetting what should really make the difference: quality, care, and professionalism.

02/03/2026: A wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was spacious, the amenities top-notch with thoughtful and comprehensive toiletries, a comfortable shower, and a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. The staff was attentive, and dinner offered excellent value for money. The only slight drawback was the breakfast buffet, which was a little underwhelming compared to the overall standard of the establishment. I highly recommend this place.

27/02/2026: Absolutely great stay, hotel staff are very very helpful and friendly and especially Ash who works at the reception. Ash has been a great help in guiding us to where to visit and how to get there. He has also been very efficient in service. This is definitely a great hotel to stay in and the walk to the ferry is only 5-10min away along with nice restaurants and bakery's nearby.

Elegant atmosphere, high-quality cuisine with sophisticated dishes, impeccable and attentive service. After all, as the saying goes: it's the details that make the difference. Do I recommend it? Absolutely YES!!!
