16/08/2026: We spontaneously decided to visit Salo today and stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant by chance. The food is delicious, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the location is truly lovely, both inside and out 😍🥰

10/08/2026: We found this restaurant in the guidebook and it was absolutely fantastic! The seating area is beautifully surrounded by grapevines, the staff is very attentive, and the food was superb! Highly recommended!

17/05/2026: Only the atmosphere is that of a typical tavern, otherwise it is a real restaurant with interesting culinary offerings, attentive and friendly service, and medium-high prices.

30/03/2026: Even though the entrance is unassuming and the prices aren't for the budget-conscious, our expectations for lunch were more than met. The Osteria's website gives a good indication of what to expect. Even as a (bicycle) tourist, you're greeted warmly upon arrival and shown to your table. In addition to the clear yet varied menu, available in three languages, there are also unobtrusive recommendations from the kitchen. Each of the delicious and beautifully presented dishes is explained in detail as it's served. The wait between courses is reasonable, given the fresh preparation. If you don't want to eat quickly in the tourist bustle on the lakefront, but rather enjoy a leisurely and delicious meal, you'll be exceptionally well served at Osteria Di Mezzo. We'll gladly return when we're in the area again.

06/08/2026: I recommend the restaurant Osteria Al Gallo. We accidentally stopped in for dinner and were delighted with the Italian atmosphere and delicious food. The staff was cheerful and smiling. The dinner was simply amazing!

05/08/2026: The food was absolutely fantastic and we felt very comfortable! It's especially great how dog-friendly it is – perfect if you're traveling with your four-legged friend. 🐾 A little tip for anyone planning to sit outside: depending on the time of day, the mosquitoes can be a bit bothersome, so it's best to pack some mosquito repellent. Otherwise, highly recommended and definitely worth a visit!

25/06/2026: The Caprice is a nice restaurant directly on the lake. The food is good. I tried Pizza which was great and pasta which I liked too. The staff is friendly and does a great job. Grazie and I will come again. Ramona

18/07/2026: We ran away after they told us that the lake fish was sea bream and sea bass, but on the other hand they make fresh things on the spot, it's a historic restaurant that serves Argentinean-style prawns.

The service is impeccable: friendly, prompt, and highly professional staff, always attentive without being intrusive. The quality of the food is excellent: carefully prepared dishes, fresh ingredients, and well-balanced flavors. From seafood to more traditional dishes, everything is tasty and beautifully presented. Prices are in line with the location and quality offered. A truly worthy restaurant: perfect for a relaxing dinner, a romantic evening, or a lunch overlooking the lake. Highly recommended.

I'm sorry because I thought I would eat well, the place and the welcome given by the service in the hall, and instead...... total disappointment

21/08/2026: The location is stunning on the lakeside, and the menu is excellent and well-priced. Special mention goes to the friendliness and professionalism of Fabio, who I believe is the manager.

03/05/2026: I'll start by saying that everything was fine. We were just a little unlucky with the room for a few things, but that didn't ruin our holiday. The beds and bathroom fixtures were clean, so it was fine. The owners were all very kind, as were the various waiters and staff. It was a truly pleasant experience. The place is surrounded by greenery, not exactly informal, but away from the noise and chaos of cars and traffic in general. The sound of the wind and the birds and the tranquility of the place are the main features. I'd like to point out something else and point out that the food is truly amazing. They use their own products and local products from breakfast to dinner. I highly recommend even just going there to eat.

20/04/2026: First off: I can't comment on the rooms, as we ate at the adjacent agriturismo. We passed by Agriturismo Il Bagnolo during a hike. It's beautifully situated with a fantastic view of the lake. The grounds are spacious and also suitable for children. The tables were beautifully set, and the service was excellent. The food was really good. We had lasagna, pasta with porcini mushrooms, and strips of beef. We felt very comfortable there, and the owners even took the time to chat with us.

30/07/2026: Location with a wonderfull view, the Garda See is few hundred meters far. The meal is completely prepared and cooked on place with high quality products. A wonderful place for Weddings

09/07/2026: We got married on Saturday, July 4th at the farmhouse, and it was simply magical. The food was excellent, and the staff was kind and attentive to every detail. Everything was magnificent, but the real highlight was Silvio. He looked after us from start to finish and made everything perfect. I'm giving 5 stars because it's the best, but it's not enough. For the work they did, a million stars would be needed. Simply thank you.
