The wine pairings are perfect for tantalizing your taste buds and leaving you wanting more. The service is very friendly, warm, attentive, and professional. 22/04/2026: The food was excellent! The service was very friendly, although the restaurant is a bit dimly lit since it has no windows. Nevertheless, it's a real hidden gem; the cuisine is far superior to comparable restaurants in the area.

17/05/2026: Only the atmosphere is that of a typical tavern, otherwise it is a real restaurant with interesting culinary offerings, attentive and friendly service, and medium-high prices.

30/03/2026: Even though the entrance is unassuming and the prices aren't for the budget-conscious, our expectations for lunch were more than met. The Osteria's website gives a good indication of what to expect. Even as a (bicycle) tourist, you're greeted warmly upon arrival and shown to your table. In addition to the clear yet varied menu, available in three languages, there are also unobtrusive recommendations from the kitchen. Each of the delicious and beautifully presented dishes is explained in detail as it's served. The wait between courses is reasonable, given the fresh preparation. If you don't want to eat quickly in the tourist bustle on the lakefront, but rather enjoy a leisurely and delicious meal, you'll be exceptionally well served at Osteria Di Mezzo. We'll gladly return when we're in the area again.

03/05/2026: I'll start by saying that everything was fine. We were just a little unlucky with the room for a few things, but that didn't ruin our holiday. The beds and bathroom fixtures were clean, so it was fine. The owners were all very kind, as were the various waiters and staff. It was a truly pleasant experience. The place is surrounded by greenery, not exactly informal, but away from the noise and chaos of cars and traffic in general. The sound of the wind and the birds and the tranquility of the place are the main features. I'd like to point out something else and point out that the food is truly amazing. They use their own products and local products from breakfast to dinner. I highly recommend even just going there to eat.

20/04/2026: First off: I can't comment on the rooms, as we ate at the adjacent agriturismo. We passed by Agriturismo Il Bagnolo during a hike. It's beautifully situated with a fantastic view of the lake. The grounds are spacious and also suitable for children. The tables were beautifully set, and the service was excellent. The food was really good. We had lasagna, pasta with porcini mushrooms, and strips of beef. We felt very comfortable there, and the owners even took the time to chat with us.

22/05/2026: What an amazing evening! Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the view made it even more special. A huge compliment to Filippo, who gave us outstanding service from start to finish. He truly had an eye for detail and went the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience possible. He was super friendly, helpful, and made us feel completely welcome all evening. He also recommended a fantastic red wine, which was honestly one of the best we’ve had. And to top it all off, we even received a complimentary limoncello shot at the end. Thank you for such a wonderful night. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

28/12/2025: I've been here many times, and I must say the quality and deliciousness of the food has been consistently good. Both the fish and meat dishes are excellent, and the desserts are equally delicious. When I'm in Salò, it's a must-see.
