29/12/2024: I chose this place to celebrate my graduation and was immediately enchanted by it. The location in question has an incredible view, the swimming pool is open all year round, and is an integral part of Villa Mercede, a jewel at the entrance to Frascati, one of my favorite areas of the Castelli Romani. The professionalism of the maître Nicola makes "La cucina con vista" a restaurant of great prominence; he assisted me at all times, making sure my guests were comfortable and enjoying the event, it was as if he was watching over us. All the staff are extremely kind and friendly, in line with the elegance of the venue. The refined and tasty food was the confirmation of having chosen the right restaurant and which I would recommend a million times to everyone, not only to celebrate events but also to spend a quiet evening enjoying a splendid view. Congratulations again to all the staff, well deserved. Keep it up! ❤️

06/01/2025: Carpaccio, bistecche alla brace veramente ottime, crostini al lardo. Mai mangiato una bistecca con una carne così tenera. Una esperienza di assoluto livello e super consigliata. Sicuramente ritornerò.

13/11/2024: Rustic and very nice atmosphere, kind and friendly staff and good food, of excellent quality and cooked really well and you can also find a good choice of wines which are recommended by the owner's son who I know has taken a sommelier course. I will happily return.

03/11/2024: We walked by by chance and grabbed a free table. After a number of restaurants where they ignore you for half an hour, a very pleasant contrast. Service at a very high level, food also great and the atmosphere of a local business. I definitely recommend it to everyone who is looking for a quiet and authentic place full of local people.

02/11/2024: Perfect service, delicious food. To start, we were served a glass of prosecco and bread My wife ate tortellini with mussels, I ordered risotto with shrimps. The dishes were prepared perfectly. At the end, we had a perfect espresso with almond cookies. It is worth adding that the restaurant is quiet. No loud music, which often distracts and interferes with conversation. When I'm in Frascati again, I will definitely come back here.

08/02/2025: I am really happy to review this restaurant, because... it deserves the best! I came here together with the legendary Giovanni Feliciani, colleague and superior! The owners are not only extremely kind, but also able to satisfy any palate, even the most demanding, especially those who love good meat in all its forms (there is a wide selection of cuts to choose from, in the spacious display case in front of the fireplace, from which the place derives its name). What about the appetizers? They too are rich in every delicacy: a particular note of praise for the hand-cut ham, the beans all' uccelletto, the grilled vegetables, the fried foods of their own production and so on and so forth! For the occasion, I enjoyed the excellent polenta accompanied by pork ribs and sausages. To conclude the abundance of food served, I tasted the excellent desserts made by the expert hands of the owner who, given the imminent Carnival, delighted in excellent fried delicacies and treats... I'm still salivating remembering the zeppoline filled with custard! The dining room staff is also extremely attentive to customer needs. The large room is also equipped with convenient outdoor parking and a pleasant outdoor veranda, ideal for beautiful spring and summer days, to be spent admiring the beautiful surrounding countryside, far from the chaos of the city. The price, among other things, is truly competitive compared to standards. The venue is suitable for informal convivial meetings for families and friends. Thanks again to... and... come in large numbers: it's really worth it! 🥰

02/02/2025: Excellent experience, friendly service, nice environment. Excellent proposals for grilled cuts of meat, rigorously cooked with seasoned wood embers... Fresh meat, displayed in a large refrigerated counter, in full view! Good side dishes... Special desserts. Price normal. Recommended for those who love eating meat! Ample and free parking.

02/02/2025: Small but welcoming and quiet place, with only one helpful and courteous waiter. We took two bruschettone: the first with stracciatella anchovies and chicory and the second with artichokes and smoked scamorza, both very good. As a first course we had mezze sleeves with tail sauce, very tasty, full-bodied and full of sauce, and a carbonara, the best we have ever eaten, very creamy, with plenty of bacon and pecorino. We were undecided whether to have the second course, but after eating the first courses we couldn't resist trying the pork belly with sweet potato and leek puree, very soft pork that went very well with the cream and leeks. Finally we finished on a high note with a delicious tiramisu. I highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back.
