The food is delicious, but the service leaves much to be desired. It's very, very slow. You have to ask at least twice to ask for anything. Be careful, though. I've read a lot of complaints about the staff's politeness. The waiters are very friendly and polite, but their speed and understanding of requests could be improved.

Six of us came here on a Saturday night for a get-together with friends, and what can I say...everything was fantastic. We ordered four pizzas, one slice, and one sandwich, all delicious! Excellent service, friendly waiters, and the owner, Ernesto, was incredibly nice. We'll definitely be back!

We're back and as always it never disappoints. From the kitchen to the pizzeria, the stracciatella pizza is fantastic and congratulations to the guys in the dining room. Keep it up.

After a year ago in 2025, today I returned to the old grotto and nothing has changed. Everything was delicious 😋 in terms of service, wealth, and food.

11/12/2025: Excellent food, staff available to answer any questions, and a restaurant furnished with a touch of class and beauty that's hard to find elsewhere.... Simone, the chef, is an artist; everything he prepares is a culinary work of art. The waiters are always kind and helpful. If you want to have lunch or dinner at Varesino in Rome, you have to go and then return. When you put so much passion into everything you do, the results are tangible.... This is what I feel every time I go to Varesino.
15/10/2025: Excellent food and service, the fish and parmigiana are special!!! A sincere and loving experience: Highly recommended!!!
