Ristorante - Pizzeria - Bar PONZI In Roma

So glad we stumbled upon this place at just the right time today! I can't speak to the dinner service, because we only grabbed a pizza and some wine earlier in the day. But we found Ponzi to be an unassuming and authentic pizzeria/trattoria with delicious pizza, quick service, and uninflated prices. Speaking to the authenticity and value, multiple groups of actual Italians were our fellow patrons. In fact, this is one of the only establishments in Rome so far where I've heard more Italian than other languages.

Emilia was super friendly to me, the food is perfect (very authentic Italian), it's not expensive (4 cheese pizza + limoncello + tiramisu) €22 It's totally worth it! You can even make a quick stop at Santa Maria Maggiore to take a picture.

Friendly staff and good food. I forgot my backpack🎒 there, and they kept it safe for me. I was nervous so I forgot to leave a tip, im sorry 💔🫶 Very good omlette with vegetables and cheese!

Great mom and pop place to eat!! They were super friendly and the food and atmosphere was amazing! We went for dinner, breakfast and one afternoon for wine and appetizers… every time we went they were very welcoming and we felt like we were at a friends home! This was the only place we went to 3 times during our trip to Rome, and would love to go back!!

I had lunch with my family on Sunday, December 7th. Old-fashioned trattoria (with a Polish waitress). My pasta with oxtail sauce was delicious. Everyone else was happy, too. The wait was a bit long. The decor, service, and atmosphere were very basic. The quality/price ratio was decent. If you want to eat out and aren't looking for a "nice" place, I recommend it. Andrea Ballardin

Excellent little restaurant with warm and friendly service. We ordered four delicious and generous pizzas. Very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.
