The Buvette is a special place right in the heart of Rome. Because of its high quality food and service, it is especially loved by locals. My husband and I have been regulars for close to 20 years and while in this time we have seen people come and go, the quality has remained a priority. It is always lovely to be greeted with a smile and a cheery hello by the staff. Raf and Alice are two of our favourites, but in reality everyone there is lovely. Friendly but discreet at the same time. If you are looking for a place to escape the chaos of the city, this is definitely the place to go.

Excellent service from Anita, delicious food in a small, beautiful street near the Piazza di Spagna in Rome. We stumbled upon it for a refreshing drink and decided to stay for dinner. Highly recommended. The lemon gelato was spectacular.

18/07/2026: Fantastico! We’re a family of four, just walked 25km on the Francigena in a heatwave. We deserved a great meal and we got one! Great friendly service, lots of little extra bits, beautiful food (my Carbonara was the best I’ve ever had), antipasto was a feast in itself. All round excellent!
05/07/2026: The waiter was very kind. The place was nice. The food was good. The experience wasn't great, though: I asked for a birthday cake and agreed to a certain one, but then I received a cake that was almost entirely creamy (and that's not nice for a birthday). Let's give it a 10/10.
