Al Callarello In Roma

Great welcome. We arrived late at night, but they treated us like we couldn't have imagined. The food is good and the price is right. We're in a historic and unique part of Rome. An experience worth repeating.

We host end-of-course dinners here every year! Everything is delicious, from appetizers to dessert. The staff and the owner (I believe) are always very kind and attentive! Highly recommended!

I had a great time and the food was good. The atmosphere is typical of Roman trattorias. I highly recommend it.

At Callarello you eat like a god, a restaurant that has been delighting us for years

We were going to visit the Baths of Caracalla and I looked for a place to eat nearby. We didn't have any expectations, but we were delighted. It was a place frequented only by Italians in a quiet residential area. The food was delicious; we ordered several pasta dishes, lasagna (spectacular!), and main courses like escalopes Marsala and saltimbocca. Everything was delicious, authentic, and freshly prepared. The staff was incredibly friendly; we arrived a little late due to public transport, and they didn't give us any trouble at all, in addition to being very attentive. Excellent value for money; we spent a bit more on drinks, but it was perfectly reasonable. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely go back. Greetings from Madrid.

A wonderful Roman trattoria. Tonnarelli with mussels, pecorino cheese, and sautéed chicory will blow you away.

Two years ago we were in Rome and found this restaurant. The food was SO GOOD that when we returned in January, we had to go back. I didn't used to write reviews, but this place deserves one!
