17/11/2025: My family and I had lunch at this Osteria on Sunday, November 16th. When I made my reservation, I mentioned that I'm vegan, and Ruggero, the host, while emphasizing that their cuisine is traditional Ferrara and therefore wouldn't be able to offer me a wide variety of options, responded with kindness, courtesy, and willingness to find a solution that wouldn't overwhelm either the kitchen or me (as I think EVERY passionate restaurateur should do). Upon our arrival, Ruggero was thoughtful and attentive, making us feel welcome, and his mother even prepared me a double portion of polenta with porcini mushrooms as an appetizer! For the main course, a delicious plate of homemade potato gnocchi (tough, just like the ones my grandmother used to make) with a radicchio, onion, and butternut squash sauce...a dream! ALL ingredients that were on the menu, which they simply had to combine differently without betraying tradition or overturning the menu. Even though I haven't tried the local dishes, I can say that the cappellacci al ragù looked magnificent!

11/11/2025: Being accommodated in Venice we decided to spend one of the days in Ferrara. That day the weather was not with us and we were looking for a warm place to sit and talk and drink a coffee. We saw the sign of this Osteria and decided to enter. We were struck by the pure Italian spirit and the cheerful people who spoke wonderful Italian. The menus were in Italian and we had no idea what to order. A very nice gentleman came and gave us the desired directions, thus ordering the best veal we have ever eaten. Better even than the one in Florence. Thank you for the treat! You are wonderful!

19/10/2025: We ordered one pizza and one calzone classic. The calzone was lukewarm in the centre and the cheese wasn’t even melted. It was watery inside and quite unpleasant. The pizza was okay, nothing special. The service from the guy was not very friendly but the girl was nicer. The prices seem cheap but I’m sure there are better places to get pizza. We left disappointed.

17/10/2025: Was walking around to find a place for dinner and chanced upon this restaurant. Ordered the Cotoletta di lonza di maiale (Pork loin cutlet with baked potatoes) and was surprised by how delicious it was! The pork loin cutlet was crispy on the outside and tender, juicy on the inside and also, the baked potatoes are cooked perfectly. On top of it, the service here is excellent! Highly recommended!

28/11/2025: We ate there on a Sunday for lunch. The place is beautiful, the staff very friendly, and the food is truly delicious. The raw artichoke salad was truly delicious, as were the salami and cutlet. Highly recommended.

30/11/2025: The quality of the dishes is beyond dispute, but we paid a very high price of €36 per person. And frankly, we don't understand how they arrived at that price... There were three of us, with three first courses, only two second courses, and dessert with only water, which was frankly too expensive. A serious flaw was the lack of a menu, which is required by law. You don't know which dishes are listed or how much they cost. I won't be returning.

27/11/2025: Recommended for a business dinner. Typical Ferrarese cuisine with excellent dishes and quality ingredients. Excellent service.

09/10/2025: I chose this Osteria in the center of Comacchio on a recommendation, and it was an excellent dinner. We ordered a seafood appetizer, fried fish, and the Comacchio specialty, grilled eel, which we tried for the first time. Everything was excellent and tasty. To finish, we had sorbets and torta della nonna. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: I give it a top rating because it's a laid-back place, despite its central location. The menu is short, with local specialties, and the service is informal but friendly. The quality is adequate, and the prices are fair. A worthwhile experience for those who don't like the over-the-top decor.

21/11/2025: Extremely helpful and superlatively friendly staff. Fast service, memorable dishes. The ambiance and food are worth the modestly low prices for a place in the center of Ferrara. I highly recommend visiting, hoping the staff will continue to smile and share the same atmosphere as they do today!

11/11/2025: I was there on a Friday evening, we had dinner very quickly even though the place was full, the hamburgers and pizza are very good, the atmosphere is quiet and the staff is kind.

15/11/2025: Had a retirement dinner with two other friends. From appetizer to dessert, everything was top-notch. The plating is classic, but the quality of all the fish goes beyond the visual appeal.

13/11/2025: A good seafood restaurant where you can enjoy company. Fried food and pasta dishes are good, as are the pizzas and grills. It's very large, so there's always room to find despite the large crowd.

15/09/2025: I used to come to this beach resort about 50 years ago (I'm 58 now) with my family when it was called Bagno Bar Sport, and we always had a great time. In those days, Lido di Spina held a certain magic for both young and old, even for me as a child. I don't think much of that magic remains these days, especially since I haven't been to Lido di Spina for a few decades. Times have changed, like everything else, but those were happy, carefree years.

15/08/2025: We spent some wonderful days at Kapogiro Beach, we felt at home. Vanessa and Gilberto (Gibi) are the owners, welcoming, always smiling, and genuine. They have all the comforts, including new and constantly sanitized bathrooms. Unforgettable aperitifs, dinners, and lunches with fresh fish delivered every morning and very fair prices. Highly recommended are the braziono or salmon ravioli handmade by Mamma Silva, the best I've ever eaten! Our go-to place at the Lido ❤️

15/11/2025: It may seem small, but inside you'll discover a large restaurant that pairs quality wines with traditional dishes! The cappellacci with ragù and pumpkin and lard lasagna are superb! The service is warm and professional, all complemented by a welcoming and family atmosphere.

Saturday evening at 8:00 PM Aperitif 6 adults and 5 kids Not even a single potato chip or olive, with the excuse that "they'd run out of everything," a request made repeatedly to various waiters (inexperienced or simply uninterested)... with four free tables outside, they wouldn't seat us. All this for a €68 bill at the register. The Spritz was very diluted and the Negroni was barely adequate.
