15/09/2025: A spectacular surprise. Having the opportunity, after so many years living outside of Ferrara, to meet up with a great friend who owns this restaurant. Everything we ate was very well prepared. I was able to try the padella di ceci again, a super fresh and crispy fried fish dish, and one of my favorite dishes that I had been planning on eating when I arrived in Ferrara: cappellacci di zucca al ragù. OMG, how delicious. Thank you, Angelo, for all your attention that night. This restaurant deserves a visit from everyone, especially if you're a tourist. You'll have the opportunity to eat homemade, quality food. A spectacular surprise. 02/09/2025: The blonde waitress was incredibly sweet and charming, but everything else was pretentious. Suitable for cold office lunches, not for family or friends. In short, a hearty laugh gets the whole restaurant buzzing because they don't seem used to it. The pizza was nothing special and quite heavy. The price would be okay if the weather weren't hostile.

05/10/2025: Exceptional experience. Superlative service with a very friendly host, who made our lunch unique. The menu is extensive, with something for all tastes, and everything is delicious. The prices and location are perfect!

05/10/2025: The owner is embarrassing to say the least. For being 10 minutes late, he threw a tantrum and wouldn't seat us (the place was half empty and it was 9:40), making up things he never said on the phone. Apparently, he's disgusted by money.

16/09/2025: A great find, thanks to a friend's recommendation. An old-school place, but not stale; on the contrary, it's fresh and vibrant. Where you can rediscover traditional Comacchio dishes. The risotto was truly special.

11/10/2025: At the far end of Via delle Volte in Ferrara, I found a place that looks unassuming, almost hidden among the cobblestones and arches. I had pasta filled with pumpkin, a dish rooted in the local tradition, paired with a beautiful glass of Sangiovese. The food was extraordinary, simple in appearance yet unforgettable in flavor, easily one of the top ten dining experiences of my life. Forgive my poor photo of the dish! It did not do it justice. I am a terrible photographer.

15/09/2025: I used to come to this beach resort about 50 years ago (I'm 58 now) with my family when it was called Bagno Bar Sport, and we always had a great time. In those days, Lido di Spina held a certain magic for both young and old, even for me as a child. I don't think much of that magic remains these days, especially since I haven't been to Lido di Spina for a few decades. Times have changed, like everything else, but those were happy, carefree years.

15/08/2025: We spent some wonderful days at Kapogiro Beach, we felt at home. Vanessa and Gilberto (Gibi) are the owners, welcoming, always smiling, and genuine. They have all the comforts, including new and constantly sanitized bathrooms. Unforgettable aperitifs, dinners, and lunches with fresh fish delivered every morning and very fair prices. Highly recommended are the braziono or salmon ravioli handmade by Mamma Silva, the best I've ever eaten! Our go-to place at the Lido ❤️

13/07/2025: This is the second time I've passed through Ferrara and stopped at this osteria, for a reason that's often overlooked: the certified gluten-free cuisine! Excellent quality, a wide selection that largely reflects the "normal" menu. I enjoyed the pumpkin cappellacci with melted parmesan and guanciale, even in the height of summer! I'm always happy to find places like this with reasonable prices, where they understand that celiac disease isn't a fad and don't raise prices!

Siamo ritornati a cena in tre questa volta e abbiamo sperimentato la degustazione di "ispirazioni" da 10 portate. 02/08/2025: Seven of us stayed in Ferrara for one night. We booked this place on the recommendation of our host, and among the recommendations, we couldn't have chosen better. The atmosphere is beautiful and refined, with a real olive oil mill inside. The food is excellent...we all had the cappellacci with ragù, which were truly amazing. The appetizers were truly delicious, from the beef carpaccio to the creamed cod, and the serving temperature was perfect, and the bruschetta was truly delicious. The dinner concluded with various desserts, none less than a 10. Excellent value. The owner was extremely kind, as was the waitress. Highly recommended if you're visiting Ferrara for a positive culinary experience.

04/10/2025: I literally had to wait 45 minutes for a small piadina for €7.50 at 10 PM. The quality was good, of course, and the staff was friendly, but I find the wait so long unacceptable, and in my opinion unnecessary.
