Impeccable equipment, excellent long self-service counter with raw and cooked vegetables and other appetizer and side dish preparations. Excellent pumpkin ragu tortelli with soft pasta, well filled and seasoned with delicious ragù. The other first courses were also very good. The second courses are of excellent quality and the desserts are particularly good, especially the bonet and the sour cherry and ricotta tart. Impeccable service, quick and ready to give advice or explain the dishes on offer. The only NEO is the small and old toilets. It is a good restaurant and I wholeheartedly recommend it. CRC

06/05/2025: Da anni, anzi decenni mancavo da questo bel ristorante di solida tradizione ed ho ritrovato le stesse sensazioni: un ambiente "invecchiato bene" ottimamente mantenuto, con tavoli ben distanziati, un'atmosfera gradevole ed un servizio professionale. Niente di tutto ciò è scontato, oggidì. La cucina è quella della tradizione ferrarese e, se si resta in quell'ambito (come noi) non ci sono sorprese. Tenendo conto del livello del locale, della qualità della cucina e della location splendida, nel cuore della Ferrara rinascimentale, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo.

03/05/2025: Stile ed eleganza si uniscono a spiccate professionalità e passione nel creare pietanze sempre squisite e nel garantire un servizio impeccabile ed attento, offrendo sempre piatti di estrema qualità e bontà. Siamo ritornati a cena in tre questa volta e abbiamo sperimentato la degustazione di "ispirazioni" da 10 portate. Tutte quante davvero eccellenti e l'effetto sorpresa dello chef ci stupisce come ogni volta. Rimane in assoluto uno dei ristoranti migliori di Ferrara. Elisa e Stefano

05/05/2025: Friendly and helpful staff. They were about to close the kitchen but they still let us sit and didn't put any pressure on us. We took two pizzas, one with coppa and one with pumpkin, both were really delicious, in addition to the quality toppings we were impressed by the pizza dough, full-bodied but light. We will definitely be back!

22/05/2025: I had a baptism party for my daughter! I liked the location, we were in an outdoor gazebo so that all the guests, even those who smoked, could talk to each other and the children could play peacefully. Also, during a rainy moment, he turned on the TV with cartoons in the internal room and it was very much appreciated by the parents. The Buffet is fair but not excessive, there are various types to be agreed with the owner Simone. Maybe I would have liked a little more presence on the service but I would say that everything went very well and everyone was happy. Thank you!

01/05/2025: Courtesy, kindness, availability... When you enter the smile and the greeting are never lacking... Delicious coffee, excellent pastries, always well stocked.. Clean environment, nice managers and employees, always ready to satisfy customer requests... Frequented by people of all ages... Excellent colourful, fragrant environment, where courtesy, education and skill reign in managing this type of activity... a full 10 out of 10.

11/05/2025: We were passing through Ferrara and took advantage of a stop. Long weekend period so lots of people in the restaurants but luckily we managed to find a table for 4 with half an hour's notice. Very nice atmosphere both inside and outside, very kind and attentive staff. The thing that struck me positively was undoubtedly the well-organized open kitchen with freshly cooked products, even though despite being a wine shop it had a fairly limited menu in terms of choices, dishes certainly from the Ferrara tradition. The roast chicken and the cappellacci with ragù are excellent, as is the pasticcio with its salty contrast and the sweetness of the pastry. But if you allow me I would like to make a small note, I understand that it is mainly a wine shop, but a €3 cover charge and €4 water served on tap is certainly not justifiable, if it had only been for the food the price would also be acceptable, but paying €20 for 4 covers and 2 bottles of water seems a bit excessive to me. My opinion.

Despite the slightly late time we were welcomed with pleasure for dinner. Simple, traditional dishes, but very abundant. Quick and friendly service. Spaghettoni with burrata, yellow tomatoes and pistachios to try without hesitation.
