06/04/2024: Negative note: when you sit down, pay attention to the staff's suggestion to start with a vermouth spritz. Only when they give you the menu will you discover that it costs 12 euros!!

05/04/2024: Courtesy and availability ok. 2 of us had lunch on a public holiday at 2pm. I gave three stars because as a first experience it didn't give me the impression of being able to taste the Ferrarese culinary tradition. For now I would say...touristy. I will definitely be back to improve the review.

05/04/2024: Easter dinner based on fish. Definitely abundant quantity, good quality. Varied menu at average prices. Service from some very courteous, from others more hasty but never rude.

05/12/2023: Non è un semplice ristorante ma un luogo dove sperimentare nuove esperienze degustative. Esperienza di assoluto interesse e rilievo. Materia prima di qualità eccellente e preparazioni attente ed equilibrate. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

08/12/2023: A really nice restaurant, beautiful interior. I especially appreciated the fact that the furnishings are very well looked after even in the bathroom area which are usually neglected even in very high class restaurants. Good and plentiful food, the fish risotto for two was actually eaten by 3 of us. Good, dry frying. I really recommend it if you are in the area.

26/10/2023: Domenica sono andata in cerca di ricordi. Sono arrivata a Goro era la mezza e una gran fame. Vado verso l' argine del Po e vedo l' insegna Da Primon. Da bambina sentivo parlare mio padre e mio fratello di Primon dove si mangiava bene. Sono entrata il tavolo libero si. Chiedo risotto e anguilla. Risotto buono veramente. L' anguilla cotta alla brace...... penso che il fuoco fosse troppo alto. L' anguilla ha bisogno di una cottura lunga per cui serve un fuoco basso. Il conto, alla fine, andava benino

06/04/2024: Excellent pizza place. The pizzas are traditional style and top quality. If you go there then try to book in advance and make sure you eat inside. Outside can be windy in spring but not a problem in the summer.

29/03/2024: We, 3 adults and 2 children, wanted to have lunch and although only one table was occupied, we were told that everything was reserved. Clearly we were not welcome and our sales were not needed.

26/03/2024: To celebrate a family birthday, we chose this place in the historic center. The menu is typical Comacchio cuisine, we took the eel in its various versions, in risotto, stewed and marinated, one better than the other. There are also dishes without eel, of course, both land and sea. Right portions and average prices.

03/03/2024: Locale piccolino e informale, che offre comunque servizio al tavolo. Personale molto cortese, disponibile anche a "riservare" un posto se si chiama in anticipo, soprattutto per gruppi di 4 persone o più. Servizio molto veloce, ma non per questo ci si sente obbligati a mangiare di fretta o a lasciare immediatamente il tavolo. Feta condita con peperoni e olive saporita, meglio ancora se accompagnata da una delle loro ottime pite. Non male le polpette di ceci, purtroppo servite con patatine abbastanza fredde. Salsa alle melanzane molto simile alla tsatziki. Imperdibile la musaka, tornerei anche solo per quella. Ghemista ben speziata, riso all'interno stracotto. Sapore della baklava strepitoso, anche se me la aspettavo più croccante in superficie. Normale la birra Mythos. Conto finale onesto. Toilette disponibile.

09/03/2024: We ate a platter of cured meats that looked like they were from the supermarket, nothing like other trattorias here in Ferrara. The pinzini were too crunchy and full of air, very little dough. Cappellacci good but very little ragù on the plate, salama da sugo with good mashed potatoes but a children's portion, there was very little and they charge 18 euros for it. Fast waiters but in my opinion they didn't treat us very well. We won't be back.

03/03/2024: Last night we had the opportunity to dine in this wonderful restaurant: wonderful dishes of great taste accompanied by great hospitality and kindness. We were also very grateful to meet Mrs. Laura, the owner of the restaurant, who kept us in excellent company throughout the evening, pampering us with good advice on the choice of dishes. We wanted to thank everyone who works there and who has proven to be professionals in the sector, from the fast and friendly waiters to the excellent cuisine! 23/03/2024: It is an ideal bar both for a quick coffee and for organizing parties of all kinds. For parties, a large heated gazebo is available and customizable packages are offered at excellent prices. The bar is also easily accessible and offers ample free parking. The staff is very kind and helpful and, personally, I had a very good time. Highly recommended!

24/03/2024: Restaurant located in one of the most beautiful streets of Ferrara, two minutes walk from the walls and twenty minutes from the castle. Very welcoming place with typical Ferrara cuisine. Very friendly staff and available to recommend both dishes and wines. I advise

24/03/2024: Exit Palazzo dei Diamanti....after a visit to the Escher exhibition. You are with eyes full of wonder. You have reconciled the geometries with the heart that knows very little about geometries. Esprit de finesse and esprit de geometrie...they have been reconciled. You are at peace with the universe because you know, you have understood that you have your space and it is necessary. Appetite? How can you not head a few meters away to one of the most fascinating places in the metaphysical city? The restaurant "La provvidenza" awaits you. And don't be scared by the place and the atmosphere. You will be satisfied anyway, Why? It is a sincere place, sine cera, one of those which over the years, despite the difficulties, have not changed their dress.
