31/10/2025: The service was unfriendly; you could really tell the owners and staff thought they didn't need to be friendly anymore. It was like they were thinking, "The tourists will come anyway!" We ordered the Caprese sandwich from the menu, but were told it wasn't available that day. Oddly enough, they did have another sandwich and the Caprese salad. It makes you wonder why they didn't have the Caprese sandwich. To me, it can only mean that the items were pre-made and not freshly prepared. The coffee was also bad, which is hard to find in Italy.

14/10/2025: Had some local wine here and the owner’s brought us some nice bites to accompany the wines. Very gracious and friendly people. After wines had their cappuccino and apricot filled pastry as well. So delicious. Excellent views of the sea across the road.

22/03/2026: I celebrated my birthday at Tenuta Ippocrate and it was a truly perfect evening. Chef Aldo delighted us with excellent, carefully prepared, and flavorful dishes, exceeding every expectation. The staff was always kind, attentive, and helpful, helping to create a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The food was simply exquisite. An experience I absolutely recommend and would definitely do again.

08/02/2026: We had lunch at Alba at 1:30 PM, and I'll say it right away: the food is truly excellent: the dishes are truly traditional, and the quality is evident. Unfortunately, however, the experience was ruined by a completely chaotic service. The order of the courses was completely messed up: the parmigiana (ordered as a main course) arrived first, followed late by only one portion of bruschetta (we'd asked for two as an appetizer). The first courses were also very confusing: only one of the two Genovese and the sausage with broccoli rabe arrived. We had to send the second course back to try the first courses together, but the second Genovese didn't arrive until half an hour later. They only remembered the sausage and broccoli rabe when we were about to leave. To top it all off, the bill: at home, I noticed they were charged for two bottles of water, but only one was brought. It's clear that with the restaurant full, they lose track of their orders. We'll definitely be back during the week, when The turnout is lower, because the flavors are truly worth it, but today disorganization has taken over." ​

05/07/2025: Friendly staff. Hidden prices, no menu. Unpleasant surprise, very expensive bill 80 euros in Naples with 2 first courses of porcini mushrooms, appetizer of 3 canapés with aubergines at the price (from the receipt) of 14 euros, 1 buffalo mozzarella, half a litre of house wine, served in a carafe. All the dishes offered were off the menu, justifying that the opening for lunch was extraordinary linked to an event, which is why there was no menu available.

20/06/2025: Evening with friends in front of a very good pizza, light and digestible. Even the tasty snacks are good. I highly recommend it!

01/08/2025: The Montesarchio location is closed. When will you let people know? We showed up in the evening, and the place was closed... It was even sold to someone else. There was another name. A wasted trip and a huge disappointment.

22/05/2025: Ristorante pulito, moderno ed essenziale, quasi Newyorkese, ma i piatti, buonissimi, sono quelli della migliore tradizione napoletana.òGentilissimo e competente il personale di sala, in particolare la sig.na Chiara. Sicuramente consigliabile.

22/02/2026: It's not our first time here, but today was mind-blowing. We waited over 15 minutes to be put on the list. It took at least half an hour for anyone to arrive before we ordered. We finally ordered, but there was no sign of lunch. After almost an hour, the bruschetta arrived, but the bread wasn't cooked properly. And the highlight, after about 45 minutes of waiting, we asked what had happened to our pizzas. A smiling waiter said they'd forgotten our order. Last but not least, the pizza wasn't as good as it used to be. Absurd. Of course, a bad day can happen, but manners make all the difference. And believe me, everyone here had a complaint. I don't recommend it.

14/08/2025: We wanted to try the rocket pizzas, but honestly, they seemed like pizzas from the 90s. Dry dough. Croquette pizza is light years away from a real croquette pizza... I'm sorry, but I don't recommend it.

03/01/2026: Three generations of goodness and authenticity! At Umberto's, you can breathe in the history of Ischia. It's rare to find a place that has maintained such high standards for three generations, overcoming every challenge with the power of goodness. The cuisine is a journey through the flavors of the sea and land, using excellent ingredients. The pizza is unmissable, carefully prepared in front of the wood-burning fireplace, just like in times past. Beyond the delicious food and fair prices, what stands out is the warmth of the expert staff. Getting there is easy thanks to the large nearby parking lot. If you're looking for a place that captures the soul of the island, you must try it at least once. Lastly, as I'm a fan of traditional places, it's no coincidence that it's among the top 10% of establishments on TripAdvisor. Highly recommended!

20/02/2026: Avoid if you can or if you don’t have a choice. Most Rude owner I ever encountered as you can’t have a conversation. My partner didn’t like his drink was watery and asked to change it politely. The Waitress kindly tried to take it back to bar and sadly she came back to the table with the drink saying owner was coming to understand what was wrong with the drink. Without saying hello he asked myself what was wrong with the drink and to tell him how to do it cause the drink was fine in his opinion. Politely tried to tell him wasn’t of my liking but he continued with a sassy attitude asking to tell him how I supposed to do it that my partner had to jump and rescue me as he was raising his voice. Didn’t finish neither of drinks, we just stood up payed and left saying goodbye which was at least answered.

15/01/2026: We arrived in Sorrento from Naples by ferry and, as our hotel was far from the center (where the restaurants are concentrated) and it was already late, we opted to have lunch at this place. Despite the reviews on Google, we decided to give it a chance. In my opinion, as a Google Guide user, I don't consider the restaurant excellent or unmissable, but there's no reason for harsh criticism either. The place was quite busy, and yet the waiter was attentive in finding a table for us. We ordered a caprese salad and gnocchi: both were good and reasonably priced. As for the service, even with the place full, the waiting time for the dishes was adequate. The area doesn't offer many restaurant options, and therefore I consider the experience to have been fair. You can eat here comfortably, as long as you don't have high expectations.

20/02/2026: Six of us had dinner with a one-year-old. The meal was mediocre, the place was empty, and yet the service was terrible. Used glasses on the table, even water in them, a dirty tablecloth, and a cold atmosphere. We kept our jackets on while we ate. While waiting for our plates, the person who ordered pizza had to eat alone; they couldn't even serve the dishes at the same time. And finally, they added the child's cover charge to the bill (which they then reluctantly removed when we pointed out the deficiencies). The child didn't eat, and they didn't even bring him cutlery. It's clear we won't be returning. Highly recommended. I had to give one star because it's the lowest I can give.

14/02/2026: I ate in this restaurant, the service, food and atmosphere were all excellent, the desserts were delicious, the guys who brought the dishes to the tables were very friendly and efficient, I will definitely return

27/10/2025: I do not recommend fish, especially the linguine called seafood but without seafood, in broth and of very poor quality.

15/03/2026: Nice place. You can eat a delicious dessert, drink a coffee, and admire the lake. It also has parking.

09/03/2026: If you want to feel at home, you have to go to Cycas Café. Excellent all-round location.
