05/06/2025: PESSIMO! Cena tra amiche, tutte napoletane che già conoscevano il ristorante. La maleducazione del cameriere con gli occhiali neri, che si è preso la confidenza di un amico , si è palesata già nel momento delle ordinazioni quando abbiamo scoperto che già alle 21 metà del menù non era disponibile. Niente calamari alla griglia ma solo fritt,niente pane per le bruschette. Riusciamo a trovare delle alternative tra le poche cose rimaste,alla richiesta di una spiegazione su un piatto sempre lo stesso cameriere con gli occhiali neri risponde “vi ho dato il menù … lo avete letto? “ . Finalmente arrivano i piatti : calamari fritti che sembravano del giorno prima, una grigliata mista fatta letteralmente di 4 pezzettini tra cui un redivivo calamaro (ma non erano finiti) una insalata che se ce la davano nella busta era meglio. Vino della casa di pessima qualità,praticamente veleno. mezza bottiglia ci viene rovesciata addosso sempre dallo stesso cameriere che non sono era molto maleducato ma anche abbastanza sbadato. Nessuna attenzione fatta sul conto quando abbiamo fatto notare che ci era stata scaraventata una bottiglia addosso nei piatti e sui vestiti. Non ci tornerò mai più, è diventata una trappola per turisti,che magari non hanno il tempo di capire dove sono finiti,e magari non ci torneranno mai più. Alla faccia del ristorare storico e tradizionale, è una vergogna, al borgo ci sono posti dove si spende uguale e si mangia molto meglio. Non ci andate,non lo consigliate .

25/05/2025: I went to this restaurant for lunch today and I have to say that I was very disappointed. The food was decent but the service was terrible. The waiters were rude and the price was high for what they offered. A negative experience.

08/05/2025: Incredibly friendly service. Fabio is amazing. Stop here for a couple of drinks, there is a beautiful view of Vesuvio and the Bay of Naples.

09/06/2025: Nous avons été dirigé vers ce restaurant par la jeune femme au bout de la rue. Il est situé un peu à l'écart de la Via Dei Tribunali. Très bon accueil du serveur qui est sympathique et professionnel. Nous avons apprécié la carte en plusieurs langues dont le français. La cuisine est typique Napolitaine, les plats copieux et très bons. Nous y sommes retournés 3 fois dans la semaine.

08/06/2025: Very good restaurant, very decent, on Saturday we asked for dishes to take away, I didn't understand at first but in the end they were super attentive, on Sunday we went there and ordered drinks and pizzas, and both were very good.

04/06/2025: Ci siamo arrivate al termine di una lunga giornata di cammino con l'aspettativa alta visto "che a Napoli la pizza è ottima ". Non qui...arrivata in fretta si , ma quasi fredda..l'impasto gommoso insomma indigesta. Ti devi apparecchiare tu e bicchieri sono in plastica...la nota positiva economica...ma meglio digiunare.

16/06/2025: Do not go here. Recommended by our hotel and the service was deplorable. Domenico the waiter was a disgrace. He told us our order needed to be done in one go as the "didn't want to have to come back to take a second order". When we wanted to move because the air con wasn't working up stairs he screamed at us. He disgraced himself in front of the other customers and staff. The food was average and have had better pizza elsewhere.

30/05/2025: Excelente comida, sin embargo revise su factura y tenga en cuenta su cargo de servicio del 20% que solo se entera al final de la comida. Nos cobraron por bebidas que nunca tuvimos y también es el único lugar que hemos comido en Maiori que ha añadido un cargo de servicio del 20%. Debería haber algo en el menú que diga eso. La comida es hermosa, pero las cargas ocultas dejan un sabor amargo que es un poco decepcionante

24/05/2025: Ristorante e lido sul mare con possibilità di affitto ambrellone in spiaggia , posto incantevole ristorante adiacente alla spiaggia , menu molto curato e personale molto gentile . Possibilità di prenotare presso il loro albergo a pochi passi dal mare in centro ad ascea . Consigliatissimo.

01/03/2025: Disappointing experience We were in this place with three people and, as soon as we arrived, they hastily told us that everything was booked and that we could only stay until 9-9.30pm (it was 8pm). We accepted anyway and ordered two glasses of wine, a Coca-Cola and a medium platter. Unfortunately, the service was terrible right from the start. Coca-Cola was served with a plastic cup (why?) resting on the cap (also unhygienic), while another customer with a Fanta was brought a glass cup with a straw. Different treatment, for no reason. The waitress tried to take away the cutting board before we had finished eating, and when we went out for a moment to smoke, the owner cleared the entire table without even asking, even taking away the still half-full Coca-Cola. At the time of the bill, we paid €30, of which: €10 for two glasses of wine (€5 each) €2 for Coca-Cola (which they threw away) €15 for a meager platter (it was worth a maximum of 10/12 euros exaggerating), with a few slices of cured meat, four triangles of cheese and some olives €3 added without any explanation, passed off as "cover charge" in a place that isn't even a restaurant. In addition to the exaggerated prices for the quantity of food and the quality of the service, we were practically kicked out without even a minimum of courtesy. Too bad, because it could have been a nice place, but with this attitude it doesn't deserve a second chance.

13/06/2025: Great location, good service, very friendly staff, some dishes are not up to the price.

08/06/2025: A small, centrally located, fine, and relatively inexpensive restaurant. You can also sit outside and be right in the middle of the action. The food was very good, and the service was extremely friendly and welcoming. It was a lovely little discovery for me.

25/05/2025: The place is worth it...in front of Capri and the coast in the distance... The fried appetizers were delicious but the arancino was "freezer cold".... we took the seafood scialatielli: the pasta was tasty and well cooked....but 3 mussels and 3 clams....I would have called them by the smell of seafood...friendly and polite staff. The only thing I didn't quite understand was why the French name? Maybe for sentimental reasons?
