07/01/2026: While day-tripping to Capri, we discovered Villa Verde for lunch and had a truly memorable experience.
The food is delicious, and the staff is very welcoming. They have some of the best BBQ in Italy! It was fun to see all the celebrities on the walls who have visited. Their balsamic is truly exceptional!

25/11/2025: We got welcomed even if we got there in low season and without booking. The owners are super friendly and I love how the place is decorated. I ordered Ravioli with rabbit (outside the menu) and they were one of the best meals I had in Italy. Lovely place

26/12/2025: Very friendly staff, located in an ancient mountain village. A splendid panoramic view. You can even see Vesuvius. The rabbit cacciatore, an Ischian specialty, is exceptional. The restaurant is frequented mainly by islanders because it is a bit out of the way. A car is required because it is very high up.

09/03/2026: This was recommended to us as the best pizza in Naples by hotel staff, and they weren’t lying! The bottom crust was extremely thin and every pizza we tried was delicious, especially the nonna carolina — the pesto was incredible!
The restaurant was busy but getting a table didn’t take long (a Monday in March). Three pizzas, a bottle of red wine, sparkling water and a pepsi max for total cost under 50€, definitely worth it!

14/01/2026: We were a group of 12 people, it was January 1st. I called to reserve a table, but it was full; they offered takeout.
We managed to find a spot outside; there are tables on the stairs.
The pizza was very good, smaller than the ones you'll find in the area, and quite pricey: two pizzas and two half-liter bottles of water, totaling €22. About €9 per pizza and €2 for the bottle of water.
The prices are in line (and high) with the location.
Then, January 1st...
That's fine. The pizza is still good, and Ravello is enchanting.
I'll be back next time, booking in advance and enjoying some traditional dishes... see you next time.
11/01/2026: This was the best pizza I have ever had in my life. We had the chance to try it during our honeymoon. Pizza Nerano is still a flavor I talk about with my friends to this day—an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend trying it.

08/03/2026: The glories of the past are relived more in the photos on the walls than in the dishes.
The quality of the products is good, but the tradition of the dishes has faded.
The 'mbuttunat peppers aren't outstanding; the eggplant parmigiana is better.
The spaghetti with clams is adequate, but the Genovese with broken candles is unquestionable; in this dish, you find the authentic soul of Naples.
The pastiera, while beautiful to look at, made with the unblended wheat as per tradition, had a pastry that was too soft and not at all crunchy.
The price is high, on par with a chic restaurant on the seafront, but let's remember that we're in a trattoria near the station in Piazza Garibaldi.
