20/05/2025: Incredible oceanfront views, excellent service, excellent food. One of our favorite dinners during our time bouncing around Italy. A sunset dinner on a beautiful day cannot be beat, especially here.

16/05/2025: After strolling through Marina Grande, we came across this place, which caught our attention because it was right on the water's edge. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a very friendly Italian gentleman, who seated us at a table with a spectacular view and helped us choose between starters and main courses. Everything was delicious: we especially recommend the white fish, tuna, swordfish, Sorrento-style gnocchi, and tagliatelle Bolognese. We finished with some finger-licking traditional desserts and a Sorrento-style limoncello that was the icing on the cake. Afterwards, we enjoyed the sundeck and the outdoor bar with fresh fruit, ice cream, and a dip in the sea. A delightful experience, highly recommended! After a stroll through Marina Grande, we stumbled upon this gem right on the water's edge. From the moment we walked in, a kind Italian host welcomed us and seated us at a table with an unforgettable view. He guided us through the menu, and we were impressed by the quality of the dishes—especially the white fish, tuna, swordfish, Sorrento-style gnocchi, and tagliatelle Bolognese. We couldn't resist trying some traditional local desserts, topped off with a refreshing Sorrento limoncello. We also made the most of the sundeck and outdoor bar, enjoying fresh fruit, ice cream, and a lovely swim in the sea. A truly special experience—highly recommended!

11/06/2025: A cozy, centrally located traditional tavern. Professional restaurateurs. Quick-witted in the kitchen and dining room, and the owner is attentive and dedicated to his craft. Gastronomic dishes from the local area, tasty and well-prepared. Simple preparations for appreciative palates. House wine, more than acceptable. Small house desserts. Very good value! 25/05/2025: Maria and her restaurant are always a guarantee. I have been going there for many years and her authentic Cilento food has always improved. I love the pizza with dough that is not the classic Neapolitan, but more reminiscent of the old local dough. The Taralluzzi appetizer is very good and the fusilli with mutton sauce and goat cacioricotta are out of this world. Prices are below average. If you don't know it, try it and you won't regret it. Fusilli with sauce, a nice plate of vegetable appetizers, a large veal chop and fried potatoes (generous portions!) wine and water, coffee is free. Bill 35 euros!!!

07/06/2025: Never, ever, ever go there. They don't give you the prices properly and they only speak Italian so you can't communicate at all, but they keep asking you to order. If you don't understand and are flustered, they go to the kitchen as if they'll take care of it for you. And they make it just the way you want it. I paid 75 euros for a fish platter and a mixed grilled vegetable plate. They didn't even have a receipt with my order, and they quickly tapped on the calculator and asked me to pay. It seems like all the good reviews are from locals. The food is okay, so I think the high ratings are due to the locals not scamming you.

07/06/2025: A crying puppy who is being wronged: Wol... wol... wol... wol... The taste is okay, but what can I do... wol... I can't speak the language, so I'm forced to order... What a jerk... wol... I don't recommend this place to customers... wol

13/05/2025: Great pizza, extremely good desserts and friendly service. They don't serve Italian beer here, but they do serve German and English beer in moderation, which I really liked!

11/05/2025: The food was very, very bad!! I order a mediu beef steak and when they bring a rare steak. The taste was not good!! Also I ate the worst ceasar salad in my life! The staff was not organised at all! I do not recomande this restaurant!

22/04/2025: Tolles Restaurant mit super Pizzas und sehr leckerem Essen, angenehmen Preisen und sehr freundlichem Personal - sehr empfehlenswert! Der Blick von der Dachterrasse aufs Meer ist gerade am Abend zum Sonnenuntergang grandios. Da die Pizzeria leicht abseits liegt, muss sie umso besser sein. Das ist definitiv der Fall! Die Busse 21 und 22 fahren direkt an der Pizzeria vorbei und haben auch Haltestellen ganz in der Nähe.

15/06/2025: Honestly, I did not expect to like this place as much as I did. Food was spectacular and flavorful! It’s a nice restaurant outside of the main center here in Sorrento. We are glad we came across this place 🙂

23/05/2025: Accoglienza attenta e professionale . Gennaro e gli altri giovani ragazzi del team sono molto bravi. I piatti, a partire dagli antipasti sono deliziosi. Ricchi di colori e sapori. Memorabile la ricciola accompagnata alle verdurine alla brace. Strepitoso il pre dessert: un gelato con olive ed olio extravergine. Marco è uno Chef brillante e coraggioso. Propone abbinamenti sorprendenti ma molto equilibrati e intriganti, tipo un dessert che unisce il gusto del cioccolato a quello della cicoria. Il resto non lo racconto : vi lascio la sorpresa. Provatelo .

16/05/2025: We had the Authentico menu for our first dinner in Naples here tonight, and everything from wine selection to service and presentation was impeccable. Every dish highlighted the taste of the region, was artistic and delicious. Thank you for a great dinner!

12/05/2025: Festa della Mamma, mangiato male un antipasto ed un assaggio di primo servito in circa 3 ore, pagato troppo e valutato come un menù completo. Eravamo clienti fissi di questo locale, ma credo che questa sia l'ultima volta che ci siamo andati.

11/09/2024: Vinimos a este restaurante porque estábamos alojados en el hotel y superó nuestras expectativas. Recomiendo encarecidamente el risotto de limón y la berenjena Parm! Giovanni es un camarero increíble! Los platos eran únicos y cuidadosamente preparados. El ambiente es romántico, velas y música ligera. ¡Volveremos!

21/05/2025: Atmosphere: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Food: 1.5/5 for that level Wine-pairing: 1/5 for that level Price: 1.5/5 As a couple who loves eating at & trying new Michelin Star restaurants, we even fly to other cities just for the restaurants - regularly. We have to say, this was by far the weakest experience - even weaker than many “Michelin recommended” restaurants - & we cannot understand how they received the star, nor can we recommend it for fine-dining. In detail: The restaurant is located on the top floor of a 5* hotel with a great view - even on Mt. Vesuvio. Interior is OK hence 4/5 points. Service was friendly & willing, but neither cordial nor insightful. The sommelier seemed not too knowledgable & couldn‘t share much about the wine. The pairing itself was by far the weakest we’ve had & the wines themselves rather boring, simple, seemed too young & not balanced. (E.g. a Chardonnay, that doesn’t taste like Chardonnay; a cocktail, where they wanted to show creativity, that we really could not drink, etc.) Food was ok but ordinary. It lacked the common sophistication & refinement that Michelin Star restaurants usually have. Some dishes were really boring & others too crazy without being balanced (& we’ve had desserts with garlic elsewhere that were amazing etc. - so we’re open to that). Neither were they balanced within themselves nor amongst each other. Also, it was simply way too much food - esp. on the carbs (e.g. bread course in the middle of the menu - right in a row with risotto & pasta & after we’d had 1x bread at the start already). On the neighboring table, we heard the woman say “I’m so full I can’t eat anything anymore” & the waiter responded “well, you have five more dishes to go”. Is that really the point of fine dining? They couldn‘t really handle the glutenfree menu either - despite having asked before & despite them having reassured us several times at the beginning of the dinner! To give examples: they served beer (as one course of the wine-pairing) - if we hadn‘t asked about it, it would‘ve been too late; bread crumbs as a topper on one dish; don‘t even want to know about the sauces. In a restaurant on that level we do expect - especially when asking several times beforehand - that that is doable. Last but not least, the price of 250€ for the 9-course menu & 145€ for the wine-pairing is everything but justified for this experience. Overall, maybe there was something we missed / didn’t understand in the menu. Though for us, we are going to stick to the many other fine-dining & Michelin Star restaurants there are.

18/05/2025: At the second experience with chef Domenico I must admit that this time he won us all over. With the staff, whom I thank, they pampered and spoiled us from beginning to end and delighted us with excellence in cooking (I had no doubts), in the patterns, in the colors and, most importantly, in the taste. I can only recommend these emotions and, on the terrace with sea view that will open soon, it is worth the trip!

Every detail—from the warm greetings to the immaculate rooms, delicious meals, thoughtful service and local tour they arranged —made throughout our stay. It’s rare to come across such genuine care and attention, and we are deeply grateful. Looking forward to revisiting and reliving the magic the hosts Dino & Gianni helped create!
