14/12/2024: Mio cognato è fan di questo posto da quando l’ha scoperto. Ad accoglierci un ambienta caldo, ben tenuto, con un camino che ti scalda il cuore…. Siamo arrivati a mezzogiorno e ci siamo alzati alle 15.30… il tempo sembra volato, ma noi ci siamo sentiti a casa…. Menu’ ricco, sia mare che terra… noi abbiamo optato per piatti a base montagna. Un antipasto ricco con fritti, bruschetta e ricotta (lodevole) polpettine, frittata, cipolle agrodolce, salumi… una bontà! i primi che abbiamo scelto erano veramente squisiti: Scialatelli cremosi con broccolo e pancetta croccante. I fusilloni con nduja e ricotta(che goduria) I dolci meritano tutti…. Bravo anche il cameriere che ci ha servito … Servizio eccellente, e prezzo onestissimo. Passateci!

01/12/2024: Absolutely must try!! I was there on Sunday for lunch, welcomed by the warmth of the fireplace and the refined environment. Excellent house starter, different from the usual cured meats and preserves, but special mention goes to the fileja with lamb sauce, enveloping and full-bodied flavour. Excellent wine list too... I will definitely be back to taste the rest of the menu which promises very well! Prices for the quality offered are decidedly low.

02/01/2025: Well-kept beach, spaced out umbrellas. The atmosphere that reigns in this establishment is family atmosphere. Thanks to the managers for the passion they put into it 😘

20/10/2024: He estado frecuentando este maravilloso lugar en la costa durante muchos años y fue maravilloso escuchar que Floriana estaba en la cocina. La comida que sirve es simplemente maravillosa. Verduras a la parrilla, spaghetti vongele, pastas de marisco. todo tiene un sabor maravilloso. Personal atento y tan relajante en las tumbonas. Buena selección de bebidas, snacks y pizzas.

12/10/2024: What a cool spot for a smoke and beverage! As I approached the front outside seating entrance I was welcomed by two serving staff. Super friendly and inviting. I got a sat at a comfortable spot for me to enjoy my cigar and drinks.

21/11/2024: Disappointing, Went here for dinner in October based on the reviews and hoping for something a bit special and away from the commercial centre. The venue was very nice, probably the first meal indoors on our holiday. However all the other clientele were also tourists, no Italians, always a bad sign. Maybe because of this there was no atmosphere. The staff also lacked the typical Italian hospitality, possibly because the boss/chef was American.(oops). But the main gripe was that the food wasn't anything special. We ordered a whole fish to share. Presentation could have been better but they hadn't even descaled it which in my book is pretty basic. Also we could hear the frequent ping of the microwave. Still better than most UK restaurants but expect better in Italy.

05/11/2024: Locale piccolino e caratteristico dal nome identitario nel borgo di Pizzo, pesce fresco, personale professionale e gentile. Unica piccola pecca ingresso e bagno non comodissimi. Prezzo consono. Consigliato.

There was a mix-up with our reservation, but instead of turning us away, the staff went above and beyond by opening the restaurant just for us. 14/12/2024: Close, no sign of life, they were not the only ones standing here in front of the door. Not even a piece of paper on the door, we are closed. Fortunately, plenty of other choices. Turnoff.

The staff were friendly and very attentive to dietary requirements, particularly gluten-free, which was handled without issue. The dishes are well made and with quality ingredients, all in a pleasant environment. A restaurant we recommend for a meal without negative surprises.

01/12/2024: Ho visitato questo ristorante di recente e la mia esperienza è stata complessivamente nella media. Come antipasto, ho assaggiato una millefoglie di melanzane e pesce spada: buona, ma non particolarmente memorabile. Il primo piatto, spaghetti freschi con pesto di cipolla di Tropea e bottarga, mi ha deluso un po', forse perché il sapore della cipolla sovrastava troppo il resto. Non ho assaggiato né i secondi né i dolci. Il servizio è stato un po' frettoloso, dando l'impressione di voler far concludere in fretta il pranzo. In generale, un'esperienza discreta ma non eccezionale. Ps. Se si vuole essere un ristorante di un certo livello consiglierei anche un minimo di tovagliato. Mangiare direttamente sul tavolo non mi è piaciuto.

11/10/2024: The service was very nice and attentive, the starter was very tasty. However, the main course was literally swimming in oil and the pizza tasted very salty, but the dough was good. I asked for basil for my pizza..it was infested with insects :(

24/12/2024: Historic, the Approdo: it was the fixed appointment of high-level cuisine throughout Calabria. Lately he had lost himself a bit, but now he is recovering great. With the new management and the arrival of chef Giuseppe Romano, who has joined the excellent resident Agostino Bilotta, the path in taste is assured. The menu is varied and capable of satisfying every palate: take advice from the excellent dining room staff, and you will be sure to return.

03/10/2024: Terrible, absolutely not fresh ingredients, black tagliolini with prawns with cooked prawns set aside from the dish and totally tasteless pasta €20 and more per dish. The two of us spent more than €100 and would absolutely not go back

16/12/2024: Excellent but pay attention to the menu, we went there thinking that they also made pizza since there were photos and images of pizza and menus while when we arrived it was only fish, maybe reporting to Google and removing the wrong info wouldn't be bad. The fish is delicious, the place very good and the service excellent.

03/11/2024: What a great lunch we had with a spectacular view. The food was fantastic. However the toilets have no seats. Coming from Canada that's a little weird. But I recommend the eggplant pasta Parmigiano
