03/04/2024: Fantastic experience. Incredibly friendly service and beautiful cooking. We loved the sea bass ravioli. The skin on the grouper was cooked to perfection, delightfully crispy. The ricotta was light and tasty! Would recommend.
19/03/2024: We had an excellent lunch at the San Domenico restaurant. The menu is extensive, there is even a choice for vegetarians. When selecting the dishes, the chef was available in the background to answer any questions or requests for changes, which we found very attentive. Overall, the whole service was very courteous and warm.
The food was a wonderful taste experience: interesting combinations of spices and new interpretations of traditional dishes. The wine recommendation was perfect. Wonderful!

03/03/2024: Stunning seafront location with outdoor tables, the interior is a bit sacrificed compared to the unrealistic number of seats provided. Discreet but not exceptional food and, without prejudice to the quality, even the quantity of the raw material, perhaps, suffers from the ambitions mentioned above, which is why a calarata with baby octopus can become a plate of pasta with fish-flavoured sauce with glutamate (and only a few traces of baby octopus).
Slow, imprecise, approximate service despite the individual efforts and good will of the individual employees in reduced numbers compared to needs. . Average prices but quality-price ratio tending towards low. It is advisable to focus on quality rather than quantity (fewer covers - better service - better overall quality).

17/11/2023: Ritornare alla locanda Toscano è sempre un piacere.La chef Caterina Malerba riesce perfettamente ad esprimere nei suoi piatti un giusto equilibrio tra colori , consistenza e sapori.Da segnalare tagliolini di nero di seppia con gamberi e crema di caviale di arancia. Personale gentile e motivato.

08/10/2023: We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We visited on a bustling Sunday evening and enjoyed watching the community gather and friends meet up. My husband ordered a panini of meatball and eggplant. It was more of a calzone style. It was out of this world delicious. I ordered the carbonara which was very good although I missed the fresh parsley and black pepper. It was good enough that it didn’t warrant a complaint to the server. The house wine and salad was very nice.
We recommend.

14/01/2024: Il 4 gennaio Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per festeggiare insieme io e mio fratello i nostri compleanni e pensionamento con una magnifica cena con le nostre famiglie. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dal servizio con camerieri molto professionali, e il cibo di qualità; ottimo antipasto di mare, paccheri all'astice cotti alla perfezione e saporiti, infine il secondo di pesce molto buono. Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima e indimenticabile serata fino a mezzanotte in bella compagnia, allietata dalla bella musica suonata con violino dalla bravissima violinista e nuora di mio fratello. Abbiamo apprezzato la disponibilità del titolare e di tutto lo staff, sono stati molto attenti alle nostre esigenze e ci hanno fatto sentire a nostro agio. Consigliatissimo, purtroppo abito a quasi 1000 Km di distanza, ma quando capiterà l'occasione, ci ritornerò.

11/08/2023: Veniamo al dunque, prezzo esorbitante per un primo a base spaghetti al nero di seppia, 15 euro! Pur volendolo classificare come piatto pregiato, non era tale perché servito con pasta industriale. Anche in Calabria l'avidità pseudosettentrionale sta prendendo piede, poi questa insopportabile invadenza e totale dipendenza tecnologica di questi stramaledetti smartphone, il menù virtuale stride con la raffinatezza che la location vuole trasmettere. Tre primi un antipastino ristretto "non da mentalità calabrese" un quartino di vino, una coca Cola light, ci siamo limitati all'essenziale per limitare i danni 92 euro! 😱. Anche Cracco avrebbe detto la sua. Da evitare per la classe media, solo per privilegiati e a chi non vuol badare a spese "ma non troppo". C'è di meglio.
