11/08/2026: My husband and I booked a table at the "Il Casolare" farmhouse in Rombiolo to share a lunch with relatives from Naples who, like us, were in the area for their summer vacation. The restaurant had been recommended by other friends from Naples, who were already very satisfied guests last year. We spent a wonderful day in a property located in a unique setting, with a beautifully kept park, seated at a table under a large mulberry tree, which provided us with unexpected coolness, occasionally caressed by a light breeze, despite the sultry day of this scorching summer of 2026. But beyond the beautiful and peaceful location, with a large park dotted with trees and palm trees, what truly impressed everyone at the table and our palates were the dishes we ordered, all prepared by the chef to the highest standards, using typical local and traditional Calabrian ingredients. Everything is cooked with professionalism, yet each recipe is simple: from the appetizers, featuring typical local products, to the first courses of artisanal scialatelli pasta, seasoned with zucchini and cherry tomatoes, or with meat and mushrooms, to the second courses of meat and chicken, prepared according to recipes that fully enhance the flavors, and to the side dishes of fried potatoes and "patate e pipi" (potatoes and pips), excellent complements to the dishes. A special thanks to the owner, Maria Luisa Ferraro, who, despite it being our first time at the agriturismo, welcomed us with such warmth and simplicity, making us feel immediately pampered. This was also reflected in the attentive and thorough table service, with discreet and friendly staff, who introduced dishes perfectly prepared by the Chef, respecting Calabrian culinary tradition, beautifully executed but also interpreted in an innovative and delicious way. Excellent value for money, considering the excellent local products used; the excellent service and cuisine from the Chef; and the professional table service. Highly recommended. Worth experiencing, even if you're not in the area. Extensive menu featuring meat, fish, and pizzas. We will definitely be back to try other dishes from the Chef.

06/07/2026: Great authentic food, the tripe and porcini pasta are the best. Very nice service. It's worth coming here.

24/05/2026: Despite the late hour, we were welcomed warmly. We ate typical Calabrian dishes. The pasta was homemade.
