15/10/2025: We already can't wait to eat at this restaurant again! The staff and owner will welcome you wonderfully. The atmosphere is simple but very welcoming. The food is the icing on the cake: traditional yet sophisticated dishes with excellent pairings, all at fair prices. I recommend trying the Dulcis Venia dessert—we could have eaten 10 of them! We'll be back soon.

14/10/2025: I've noticed small changes to the place, improving the aesthetics. When you walk in and sit down, a journey through flavors begins, paired elegantly and never banally; everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. I'll be back!!!!!

16/10/2025: Very traditional, with many references to times gone by. The place is well-maintained and the food is truly delicious. I've been there with people who had various allergies and was pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness, attentive service, and good food quality. A bit out of the way, but worth the detour for a good meal.

21/10/2025: We moved to Abruzzo, a wonderful land, and we tasted typical Abruzzese dishes... delicious... well, I recommend you first of all... Ristorante il Setaccio. Fresh pasta made by them is a real delicacy. Plus, the owners are wonderful people.

05/10/2025: A welcoming, family-run restaurant just steps from the Castle, offering excellent homemade food. The owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, serving and describing his dishes with passion and energy. Each dish has a story and a reason for being there, and we were treated to a meticulous service throughout the meal, as were the other diners at the tables. Delicious food in a delightful atmosphere. We will definitely be back, and we sincerely thank the owner for the welcome and unexpected gift of a lovely bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, which we will drink to his health! Highly recommended, and see you soon!

27/10/2025: I've been there a couple of times, everything was delicious, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, it felt like being at home, the food was excellent quality.

30/11/2025: Decent food, fairly good polenta, average appetizers. Overall, the portions were meager for the completely unjustified prices. €47 for a standard portioned lunch, where elsewhere I would have paid even €10 less, and all this for polenta, which, while good and made according to local tradition, was completely unjustified for a homemade dish. The wine was house wine, and we more or less had an appetizer and polenta, a few arrosticini, and that was it. Crazy, senseless prices.

02/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, after visiting the beautiful village of Pacentro. It was Sunday, so there were a lot of tourists, but we were able to find a table between the two of us. Excellent food and friendly, attentive staff, in a traditional, refined setting.

23/09/2025: We had dinner for two at this cute place. The burgers and fries were excellent, the fried pizzas were delicious, and the dessert was delicious too. The staff and young owner were very friendly. Prices were reasonable. I recommend it.

25/10/2025: We happened to be passing through and decided to have lunch at this delightful place. The staff were very helpful and friendly, with a true passion for their work. We ate divinely, with simple, traditional dishes made with high-quality ingredients. Highly recommended!

22/11/2025: This excellent restaurant is located in the center of Sulmona. The quality of the ingredients is noteworthy, and the wine list is good. I didn't give it five stars because of the portion of pasta, which was truly minimal (so good it's a crime not to have eaten enough), and because of one of the two waiters who served us. A bit grumpy, while the other was helpful and friendly.

13/10/2025: After more than a year, I returned to this restaurant because the three or four previous visits had been good, including the atmosphere. Something must have changed: the portions were decidedly small, the quality had plummeted, and the prices were high for what you received. I was very disappointed and don't plan on returning, at least not anytime soon.

The presentation of the food was very artistic, i felt like i was in a museum. the service very attentive. The venue is perfect for a wedding or large birthday.

02/11/2025: Very fast service, helpful and dynamic staff, more than good food quality, honestly a bit steep bill (1 appetizer, 2 first courses, 1 beer and 1 glass of wine more than €70 in total).

We enjoyed a varied selection of appetizers, first courses, and meat-based second courses, prepared with the highest-quality ingredients and meat from select regional farms. Each course stood out for its meticulous presentation and balanced flavors, highlighting the passion and expertise of the kitchen, accompanied by a wide selection of wines. The attention to detail and the exquisite courtesy of the staff, always helpful and professional, were particularly commendable. An excellent gastronomic experience that fully deserves to be recommended—sorry... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Special thanks to Chef Piero and Concezio for the service.

01/09/2025: Last day of opening before the holidays: warm welcome and pleasant atmosphere. For my appetizer, I chose the arrosticini: very good flavor, but let down by the sloppy plating that made them almost resemble a can of dog food. The maltagliati, unfortunately, didn't impress: the seasoning was barely perceptible and the flavor was undefined. The lamb casserole also wasn't convincing, with flavors that were too delicate and lacking in punch. A real shame, because for a €44 dinner, I expected more satisfaction and a few more surprises.

19/08/2025: Excellent food and value. The dishes use top-quality ingredients. The wine list is good, though not particularly extensive, which isn't a problem at all, but makes choosing easier. The staff is very kind and friendly. The experience is worth repeating.
