13/04/2026: Easter at Tenuta di Sipio has become a pleasant tradition for my family, and this year too, it proved to be an experience that lived up to expectations—if not exceeded. This is the fourth consecutive year we've chosen this place, and each time we're amazed by the quality. The lunch was TOP!: carefully prepared, decidedly gourmet dishes and top-quality ingredients. The service is impeccable, attentive but never intrusive. Great credit also goes to the wine selection, unique and top-notch, perfectly paired with the dishes. A special mention goes to Nino, always extremely helpful, kind, and professional. His attention to everyone's needs—from intolerances (like lactose-free) to children's needs—truly makes a difference and helps make the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you!

01/05/2026: We were there on May 1st for lunch, set menu...many courses...it was an extraordinary experience, delicious home-made Abruzzese cuisine, amazing mixed grilled roast...the owner was very friendly and helpful

With your heart because try closing your eyes, going back, and imagining that table, the set table at your grandmother's house. Unforgettable glasses, plates, pasta dishes, and tablecloths that take you back to your childhood, and in an instant, memories of those past moments come flooding back! 04/04/2026: I discovered Lu Pennese almost by chance thanks to a post I saw on Facebook, and I couldn't have made a better choice. I love simple, authentic places, without too many frills, and here I found exactly what I was looking for: the wonderful atmosphere of a real village bar where time seems to have stood still. It's a genuine and genuine place, where you don't need an endless menu to make you happy. I loved their simple yet high-quality menu: they serve exceptional porchetta, excellent both in a sandwich and eaten plain, along with platters of salami and local pecorino cheese, and the classic bread and oil, which in its simplicity is unbeatable. If you go on a Sunday, you can also try their arrosticini, which are out of this world. If you're looking for a sincere, welcoming place with authentic flavors, Lu Pennese is an absolute must. A Peroni to wash down the grease, and you'll feel comfortable and satisfied. I'll definitely be back!

25/03/2026: A spur-of-the-moment lunch on a Tuesday without a reservation. We were welcomed and immediately pampered. The dining room overlooking the sea—in fact, the sea—is priceless. The simple and tasty menu features aromas of days gone by. Plates and cutlery were changed with each course, which isn't always a given. Good background music. Then, after coffee, enjoying the view is an extraordinary gift. Thanks to the owners, who love their work.

04/05/2026: Excellent seafood restaurant, a must-visit if you're in the area! Besides the beauty and uniqueness of the restaurant, which resembles the interior of a ship, with a spacious dining room overlooking the waterfront, the fish is incredibly fresh and delicious. Exquisite, refined, and high-quality dishes; every course, from appetizer to dessert, will leave you speechless. I recommend trying the monkfish, it's excellent! The staff are kind and attentive, and the owners are welcoming and helpful. This place is truly a treat!

The space conveys the care and intimacy of a family-run Italian restaurant, and the food makes you feel that deeply. It is a local restaurant, off the beaten tourist track, that showcases what we understand to be the culture of Abruzzo. 21/03/2026: We found this restaurant by chance and had a wonderful time. We're a couple, aged 25 and 26. We ordered an appetizer with a mix of truly delicious spicy local cured meats, followed by two first courses, both delicious and plentiful. For our main course, we tried the famous "cacio e ove" meatballs, which exceeded our expectations in terms of both flavor and size (they're larger than most). A special shout out to Mr. Piero, who was very friendly and welcoming, and very open to a friendly chat. We'll definitely be back if we ever pass through this part of Abruzzo again.
