01/05/2026: We were there on May 1st for lunch, set menu...many courses...it was an extraordinary experience, delicious home-made Abruzzese cuisine, amazing mixed grilled roast...the owner was very friendly and helpful

With your heart because try closing your eyes, going back, and imagining that table, the set table at your grandmother's house. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in every dish. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. 03/05/2026: We had dinner at Essenza last night and were truly impressed. The flavors won us over: seemingly simple dishes, but prepared with great care and attention to detail, and above all, delicious. The wine pairings were excellent, and the value was truly excellent. 👍 It was the perfect way to end our vacation in Abruzzo. We also really appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, who were particularly attentive to our small children (they prepared a special dish for them). A wonderful experience that we highly recommend! ✨

12/05/2026: Excellent choice for a break from the routine. A place away from the chaos. Quiet and intimate. Fresh fish and perfect pairings. I recommend it for those in a hurry and for those who have time to take a break from time that flies by too quickly.

13/04/2026: Easter at Tenuta di Sipio has become a pleasant tradition for my family, and this year too, it proved to be an experience that lived up to expectations—if not exceeded. This is the fourth consecutive year we've chosen this place, and each time we're amazed by the quality. The lunch was TOP!: carefully prepared, decidedly gourmet dishes and top-quality ingredients. The service is impeccable, attentive but never intrusive. Great credit also goes to the wine selection, unique and top-notch, perfectly paired with the dishes. A special mention goes to Nino, always extremely helpful, kind, and professional. His attention to everyone's needs—from intolerances (like lactose-free) to children's needs—truly makes a difference and helps make the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you!

29/05/2026: Extremely fresh fish, cuisine that respects the quality of the ingredients and uses light preparations (such as the delicate fried fish dish). Very friendly and competent service. Good selection of wines, including by the glass. Right price.

05/06/2026: Interesting concept: Porchetta and Porchetta. Unfortunately, there wasn't even a fresh salad to go with it. A very casual place for locals with friendly service. I'm sorry, I can't give more stars because for customers who want something extra, it's a give-and-take.

19/05/2026: Elegant restaurant on the seafront in the northern part of Francavilla, with prompt and professional service. Five of us had both raw and hot appetizers and two first courses. The appetizers were varied, unusual, sometimes paired with unique sauces that showcased the ingredients. The two first courses created by the chef were fantastic. Welcome to a complimentary bubbly, we dined on three very good bottles. The price was absolutely in line with what we ate. I'll be back.

13/06/2026: We came here on the recommendation of our daughter, who would travel 400 km again just to eat the seafood risotto again. It's truly unforgettable! We returned the next evening to try the other dishes, all cooked with love and top-quality ingredients. I can't recommend just one dish; I couldn't choose. You have to come back again and again to try everything, from the homemade pasta to the Bavarian cream and cream with berry reduction. Fine cuisine in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Lorenzo is incredibly friendly and finds time to chat with everyone! We miss eating at your place, Lorenzo!!! Congratulations to everyone, and especially to the super mom in the kitchen!

06/06/2026: The manager is very good, always attentive and very knowledgeable, even friendly. Good quality food and good service. Next time, I absolutely must try the brodetto.

02/06/2026: Highly recommended!! We hadn't been back in a while. We didn't have a reservation for two, so it was easy to accommodate. The pizza was super-top quality, and the staff were all so friendly and smiling (never seen anything like that from anyone!!!). We'll be back.

11/06/2026: Thank you for such a great lunch!! We arrived here after a long bike ride along the coast... And the host Antonello was very welcoming and friendly , we felt like being a guest at their home! Food was absolutely delicious and really big portions, we also got plenty of toasted bread with tasty olive oil for "scarpeta" . Everything was very fresh and home-made. He called everyone out in the backyard to show us some wild boar and when we left he offered to refill our water bottles with cold water for the way back..really memorable food, host and location! Happy to have been there and met the owner

10/06/2026: Today, wandering along the Vasto coastline in search of something different, we found ourselves at "Il Corsaro," a place steeped in history, a wealth of family history. Antonello is a special person who puts his heart and soul into what he does, welcoming you into his home and serving you as a friend, not a customer (here, you're not just a number). We ate divinely, dishes cooked just like they used to, authentic flavors and no unnecessary frills, all prepared by Antonello's sweet life partner (I apologize, but I don't remember her name right now). We'll be back soon!

04/05/2026: Excellent seafood restaurant, a must-visit if you're in the area! Besides the beauty and uniqueness of the restaurant, which resembles the interior of a ship, with a spacious dining room overlooking the waterfront, the fish is incredibly fresh and delicious. Exquisite, refined, and high-quality dishes; every course, from appetizer to dessert, will leave you speechless. I recommend trying the monkfish, it's excellent! The staff are kind and attentive, and the owners are welcoming and helpful. This place is truly a treat!

02/06/2026: Excellent experience. Excellent food, generous portions. A very charming place, discovered by chance. We ordered a house appetizer to share. Then, tortelloni with guinea fowl, garlic and oil, and Abruzzese gnocchi with ricotta. To finish, ricotta puffs with caramel: a delight. A 375ml bottle of Rosso di Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, two coffees. Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly.

09/06/2026: Visiting a Trabocchi has been on my bucket list for awhile. Numerous IG posts from the area. It’s truly a unique experience dinning in these structures over the shore line.. The Palombo Cheif has a preset menu and it’s tasting dinning style. Not a cheap meal but what an amazingly atmosphere and experience. Kudos to the owner and staff. I will be back.

07/06/2026: This place was great. I was with people who had the set menu and loved it. I'm vegan and they provided a full experience for me. It was amazing that they did that and it was also delicious. I loved that they made it no big deal at all. Besides that, the location is unique (well, there are other Trabocchi, but Trabocchi are unique). Being basically on the water is beautiful. The service was also impeccable.
