15/04/2026: The cake was printed completely incorrectly. The pastry chef changed it and chose it without telling me. I found myself with a completely different cake that same evening, and she even wanted to be right about it. So, why should I send you the picture? An embarrassing experience, marked by rudeness and unprofessionalism.

25/08/2026: Truly awful, inefficient staff, and dogs that come out of the kitchen and wander freely among the tables doing their business. Instead of calling the dog back and cleaning up, the staff shoved the dog's business as they passed by. I've never seen anything like it, and we even paid dearly for it.

23/08/2026: My experience at this place was horrible. We arrived around 8:00 PM and ordered pizzas. An hour passed and the pizzas hadn't arrived, the people who arrived after us were already eating, and we, who were first, still didn't have any pizzas. We asked for them and they told us they were in the oven, but we still waited a good half hour. We also had a small child who was hungry... but we looked invisible!! Plus, the pizza wasn't anything special. Then the restaurant dog came and happily made a mess in the middle of the tables, and no one bothered to clean up. It's barely an excuse, we would have had dessert and coffee, but we preferred to leave. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

08/12/2025: We went for lunch on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. The refuge is a welcoming gathering place next to a roaring fireplace, run by an all-female team, all fantastic. The cuisine is truly authentic and rooted in tradition, with generous portions to say the least. It's exactly the place you'd want to stop after a hike on one of the many trails nearby. It's our go-to place when we're in Ascoli Piceno. Long live the Rifugio Paci!

07/12/2025: Unacceptable experience. We had booked well in advance for eight people; three paying guests later joined, and despite numerous attempts to call to let them know, the restaurant never responded. Upon arrival, we showed up with a small, well-behaved dog—and this was in a restaurant where other dogs were clearly allowed. The staff's reaction was immediately hostile and unreasonable: they yelled at us that the dog was "not allowed," with no willingness to engage in discussion or inconsistency with what was already happening in the restaurant. The attitude was totally unprofessional, rude, and lacking any attention to the customer. They ruined the lunch of a group of ten, demonstrating poor management skills and a clear disregard for the quality of service. Absolutely not recommended.

13/08/2026: We went for the first time and the manner wasn't the best... too much familiarity right away... the food was good. We came back two days later and it was worse... out of four grilled dishes, two were incomplete and two were burnt... for me it was done on purpose because he wanted to bring a grilled dish for everyone and then Ascoli olives, but we said no because we each preferred our own grilled dish like they do in all normal places!!!!!! You can see he was annoyed by the way he was... anyway, never again... you don't behave like that with customers because he's the only one who loses... anyway, I repeat, never again... My son left still hungry because his grilled dish was burnt 🤮 P.S.: Your answer reflects the person you are and your place... I have no reason to lie... I don't get any money, it's just the truth 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

07/08/2026: A small, ancient, very welcoming trattoria, you can have a super appetizer (€15) with which you will be satisfied given the quantity of products they serve you, then really good Ascoli olives and super arrosticini 😋 (said by someone who doesn't really like meat), the owner is the classic Marche native who knows how to entertain with an exaggerated kindness, the table service is carried out by two nice and polite boys (the sons of the owner) it is worth a stop

17/03/2026: I've been to Sushi Kaiten in Ascoli Piceno several times over the years. The concept remains appealing, and the atmosphere is informal, perfect for a casual dinner. The service is fast and organized, and the staff is courteous. What I've noticed, however, is a decline in quality compared to the early days. The sushi remains good, but less attention to detail and combinations. Some dishes seemed more standardized, with less attention to detail. It's not a negative experience; it's simply not at the level I remembered.

25/08/2026: Rude. I went to order and they turned their backs on me, telling me they could make me pizzas in an hour. I even called them, telling them I'm not from the area, asking if they could make me pizzas. Without asking for home delivery, I was told not to even think about home delivery, which I hadn't even asked for.

01/07/2026: If you're in Comunanza or the surrounding area and want a snack or a good pizza, you absolutely must try the ones at "Pizza al volo."

16/08/2026: We were planning on getting a quick pizza and then going for a walk in the park to look at the stars... I think if another 10 minutes had passed, it wouldn't have been a wait, but rather "kidnapping in a public place": almost an hour and a half with three or four other tables occupied, so not a full house. The wait staff was completely absent and uninterested. The atmosphere was uncomfortable; with only 20 people in the room, it was hard to talk without raising our voices. Too bad, the pizza was very good, as were the Ascoli olives: they alone would be worth the trip. Excellent value for money.

17/08/2026: The pizza by the slice was excellent, as was the beer. The girl who served me was very friendly. It was a shame that the conversation from the few diners present was far too loud, and that the tables weren't the cleanest.

13/08/2026: The best pizza in the area! Super light dough that doesn't swell, and top-quality ingredients. The gourmet pizzas were delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant with super-friendly staff. A well-deserved five stars! We'll be back for takeout pizza, too.

17/03/2026: Clean bar and very friendly owners, aperitif with delicious appetizers. A welcoming place worth trying 😘🤩

24/02/2026: It was a disappointment. I ordered half a chicken, a turkey leg, and a potato. The chicken was very soft, you could only taste the spices. The potatoes were cold. The turkey was only cooked on the outside, but raw on the inside. I won't be going back.

28/07/2026: Maybe it was the time (after 9 PM), but besides pizza by the slice, there was nothing else available. Ordinary pizza, nothing special. Average prices.

12/07/2026: A very interesting pizzeria. The pizza is good. The service is efficient. Excellent value for money.

05/07/2026: The buffalo mozzarella Margherita pizza was outrageous, dry, and had nonexistent mozzarella. They're frozen pizzas cooked in an electric oven... the ones at Eurospin are better! Otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff at the tables were great!

22/06/2026: The croissant and coffee were delicious, but the service was a bit slow and there was no first-come, first-served service.

18/04/2026: We stopped for lunch two days in a row. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, with the right music and the right volume. Efficient and friendly service, excellent food, and an incredible price of less than €10 per person for a first course, side dish, a liter of water, a quart of wine, and coffee.

23/12/2025: And after we went to Saturnia for 15 years, Saturnia is also closing 😢
