Pizzeria La Scaletta In Ascoli piceno

A great pizzeria on the outskirts of Ascoli Piceno. They also serve gluten-free pizza with pre-made bases.

We had a great time! The staff was friendly and helpful. They waited on us even though it was late! Delicious fried food, delicious pizzas! Excellent value for money! Next time we're in Ascoli, we'll be back at La Scaletta!

I don't want to give a low review because the pizza is decent but yesterday's tiramisu was embarrassing: two biscuits with cream on top and a sprinkling of cocoa, not a tiramisu so a total disappointment.

Good pizza, and overall a positive experience. The place is pleasant and the food is good; considering what's often found around here, I'd say you'll leave satisfied. The only thing I'd improve is the noise level in the place: the buzz was already quite loud, and the two large TVs playing the game further increased the confusion, so much so that people had to raise their voices to talk at the table. Personally, I'd prefer a quieter atmosphere, perhaps with some background music and some acoustic solutions instead of the televisions.

We had dippers, which aren't usually available in pizzerias, and two pizzas with "granaria" dough, which we really liked; we'll probably go back to try more.

The pizza was delicious, their Gran Aria dough is definitely worth trying. The staff is incredibly friendly, I'll definitely be back! Thank you all so much.
