06/09/2025: I'm giving 5 stars only because I can't give more. We arrived on vacation last Saturday and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We decided to stop in and had a mussel appetizer, two first courses, and a half-liter of wine, finishing with two coffees. Needless to say, everything was delicious, and the service was super friendly and impeccable. We tried other restaurants during the week, but we couldn't end our vacation without returning here. It's absolutely the best restaurant in the area. If you're passing through Grottammare, you can't miss it. We returned again today, Saturday, September 6th, having an appetizer, two gnocchi (DE LI ZIO YES!!) as a first course, and a perfectly fried calamari, prawns, and vegetables (especially because the vegetables and fish are fried separately, preserving their full flavor), finishing with a not-at-all heavy tiramisu. What can I say? One of the best restaurants and sublime service. The quality-price ratio was more than excellent for the size of the portions served and the number of dishes ordered. The bill was significantly less than we expected. If we ever come back to Grottammare it will be our first stop.

02/09/2025: You come to Savana and always come back. The friendliness and service are always top-notch, despite the large number of customers. Gnocchi with fish sauce and mixed fried fish with vegetables are a real treat!

26/07/2026: The best Ascoli olives I've ever eaten! If you're passing through, don't miss this place. We were walking through the historic center of Ascoli Piceno and saw the sign for this delicious deli, and, enticed by the "own production" slogan, we approached. The lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind. We ordered a mix of traditional olives, truffle olives, lemon cremini, and Annisetta olives, and we also tasted her own handmade olives and fried cheese...delicious, just like a friend's homemade treats, made with love. As for me, the lemon cremini were sublime. We'll definitely be making an expedition to try these delicacies at home. The prices were reasonable for everything we ate. Thanks again for these delicious treats.

11/07/2026: Exceptional quality!! The olives are delicious, the ingredients and workmanship are superb, I'd say superior to other places I've tried in Ascoli Piceno. Very kind and welcoming.

17/03/2026: I've been to Sushi Kaiten in Ascoli Piceno several times over the years. The concept remains appealing, and the atmosphere is informal, perfect for a casual dinner. The service is fast and organized, and the staff is courteous. What I've noticed, however, is a decline in quality compared to the early days. The sushi remains good, but less attention to detail and combinations. Some dishes seemed more standardized, with less attention to detail. It's not a negative experience; it's simply not at the level I remembered.

10/05/2026: The food impressed us in every way. The tagliata di tonno was divine, the frittura mista was crispy, fresh, and surprisingly light. The wine was a perfect match. The service was very friendly; we arrived late for lunch and were still served. The owner is a true host – warm, attentive, and incredibly personable.

The service is excellent; the staff are incredibly kind and attentive, and the owner is truly a wonderful person. And what about the food? Excellent!! The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the dishes are truly thoughtful and delicious!

21/07/2026: Needs a rethink. Staff unaccustomed to customers' dietary needs (intolerances). Clean but dated facilities. The highlight is dining at a table with your feet in the sand, single rows of umbrellas, and online reservations.

18/07/2026: This has always been our favorite restaurant in Grottammare. Everything is delicious, from appetizers to main courses, especially the ravioli, which are delicious! Thanks to Matteo, the owner, and all his kind and professional staff.

18/07/2026: We had dinner here and had a really great time. The appetizers were delicious: the Ascoli olives and the Montanara olives are a must-try, truly excellent! Special praise also goes to the staff, who were super courteous, helpful, and always smiling. A place we'll definitely return to. Highly recommended!

04/04/2026: Disappointing experience across the board. We arrived shortly after lunchtime, and there was no food offered, not even bread or a slice of cold cut at the table. The ice creams were sold out, and the spritz tasted like water with a drop of still wine. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Lack of professionalism, zero flexibility, and availability, and zero desire to offer hospitality. We won't be returning.

11/06/2026: It's a shame, a beautiful chalet, but the food isn't good. The octopus was tough and tasteless. The salmon and ice cream were canned, supermarket quality.

01/06/2026: La Risacca, a corner of culinary paradise overlooking the Adriatic Sea - My family and I have been frequenting this restaurant for decades. It's where I celebrated my two children's baptisms, and all the relatives, both Italian and international, appreciated the quality of the fish and the chef's culinary skills. My husband, whose work often finds him dining at highly regarded restaurants, considers La Risacca one of his favorite places and puts it on his must-see list every time he visits from London. The appetizer buffet is a feast for the eyes and the mouth, thanks to the immense variety and authentic flavors. Here, you eat real fish, no fakes. The first courses are mouth-watering, even if you're on a diet for once, and the second courses are unmissable classics! Even the desserts are captivating, with homemade tarts made just like grandma's. A family-run restaurant with a touch of yesteryear, perfect for an unforgettable meal in a blue setting with a bright sea view. Lucia Ciccioli
