30/06/2026: While passing through Grottammare, we had dinner at this little restaurant across the street from the hotel where we were staying. The owner was very kind and helpful, and managed to get us a table even though we hadn't booked. We had seafood salad, spaghetti with seafood, and mixed grilled fish. It was good, but there's always room for improvement. The wait staff was a bit inexperienced. Prices were moderately high for the quality.

The rooms were unsuitable, with windows overlooking the street (we heard everything, cars, etc.); the bathroom had cracks in the wall, and there was no shower. The property is very dated. The only positive was the kindness of the staff.

The menu offers a glimpse into the culinary traditions of central Italy, while also incorporating a touch of innovation. The appetizers and first courses are very interesting; I recommend trying their meat dishes, which are made with high-quality ingredients. The dessert menu is also certainly worth a visit, especially the tiramisu and crème brulee. This restaurant is worth a visit for its good food and friendly atmosphere. It's also ideal for enjoying a glass of wine with friends. Impeccable service. We'll be back.

We were here for a wedding, and everything would have been perfect if the civil ceremony had taken place in a different setting. Let me explain: it's mid-June, and I think it's unthinkable to have people—including the bride and groom and the civil officiant—stay under the scorching sun just because there's no pergola or similar structure suitable for the purpose. Last year, we were in Puglia for a similar event, and the ceremony took place under a pergola, which, with its plants and curtains, was both cool and elegant. Sometimes, it really doesn't take much to transform a situation from excellent to exceptional!

21/06/2026: We had a truly wonderful time. The Ascoli olives were exceptional: crispy on the outside, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Special thanks to the owner, who welcomed us with great warmth and professionalism, making us feel immediately at ease. He was very helpful and passionately explained both the dishes and the restaurant's specialties. A pleasant experience in every way. If you're passing through, it's definitely worth a visit!

08/07/2026: Let's see, let's start with the assumption that I'm biased because they listen. Seeing Simonetta prepare the olives before my eyes while I explained what I wanted my drink to be, gave me a homely feel I hadn't felt in a restaurant in years. The olives arrived in the blink of an eye, right after Francesco prepared my "Italian" cocktail at the bar. He was a great presence and a great prophecy, perfectly paired. I immediately found myself with spaghetti cooked al dente (perfectly) with Ascoli sauce, just like my aunt used to make it for me. And to finish, a chicken ncip e nciop. I apologize for the lack of photos, but it wasn't all that good and beautiful to look at that I snatched it up. I'll leave just the photo of the chicken because I was almost cooked by then. The quality/price ratio was excellent, as was the hospitality.
