30/12/2025: We stumbled upon this grill restaurant by chance, rolling south! It's located a short distance from the A14/Pedaso exit on State Road 16. The place is beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly; Matilde (the owner) knows her job, and you can tell, even from a distance, that she was born to do this! Smiling and attentive to everything! The food is SUPERLATIVE! The meat is exquisite and of excellent quality, as are the cured meats and the homemade bread, served hot! The charcoal-fired one is delicious! The Porchetta, also served hot, has a crispy, bubbly crust. I'm very critical of porchetta; I grew up eating the kind made in my hometown (in Abruzzo) and I prefer that... but it's just a matter of taste! For side dishes, baked potatoes and sautéed vegetables! The wine list is excellent, and there's a beer passport! Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the desserts; we were too full. 🫣 The only downside... the coffee! Macchiato and others... let's just say it's questionable... but as a dear friend told me a long time ago: "Never drink coffee where you eat well, because they'll make it terrible!" 😊 We'll definitely be back when we have the chance!

21/12/2025: Matigusta is a restaurant with a quiet, refined atmosphere, tastefully decorated, where you can truly converse and enjoy the evening without the hustle and bustle. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable, always attentive but never intrusive. We chose a tasting of raw fish, an excellent 1.4 kg cut of Italian beef, and desserts. The passion, expertise, and love for this work are evident. It's one of those places that would have nothing to envy of restaurants in a big city. Sincere compliments.

10/05/2026: I celebrated my second child's first communion once again. A family that welcomes you into their home, willing to do anything to make you feel good, and I've made plenty of requests. Gourmet cuisine, but to fill your belly. Synonymous with quality, the guarantee of the products you eat are strictly seasonal.

26/04/2026: Homemade cuisine, handmade pasta, and simple yet delicious sauces. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and the place is simple yet clean. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional cuisine in the Loro Piceno hills.

05/02/2026: Pizzeria adjacent to the square, so very convenient for parking. Very fast service, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. We had the Ascoli olives, saltimbocca, and several other pizzas. Fresh ingredients, thin-crust pizza, and very good quality. Fair prices and excellent food. I'd like to compliment the two waiters, who were truly superb. I highly recommend them.

16/11/2025: After a hike along the Li Vurgacci trail in Pioraco, we stopped here for lunch, and it was a delightful surprise. The place is truly spectacular, especially the veranda overlooking the surrounding nature. We chose the "Piccola Cerimonia" menu: €26 for a comprehensive and truly well-prepared menu. The appetizers and first courses were excellent and plentiful. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and make you feel at ease. A lovely discovery, we'll definitely return.

04/05/2026: Terrible, especially for the service, which they even charged for. They took our plate away while we were still eating, and when we pointed it out, the waitress even gave us a rude response. If that's what they wanted, we won't be back again!

23/04/2026: I had a spritz about 3 weeks ago with something to nibble on for 8 euros. Today, same time, same day, same food and the same spritz for 12.50?????? Too much.

03/05/2026: Terrible experience! The waitress was rude, didn't adequately explain the menu, and refused to bring what she requested, saying it wasn't available for lunch, but then served the requested food to others. The owner was even worse!!! Never again!

03/05/2026: We had lunch for six, including two out-of-town guests, and we had a problem with one of the waitresses who wouldn't let us order what one of the other diners had requested (crescia and mixed cold cuts), claiming that it wasn't available for Sunday lunch, but we later saw it being served at another table. At the end of the meal, we reported the matter to the owner, who said, "I wasn't there, so I can't say who's right." (!?) It would have been much more elegant and appropriate to apologize for what happened and perhaps offer the three coffees we'd had or suggest a grappa. Regardless of the problem and the value of the gift that should have been offered, these gestures would make the difference between a good restaurant and a small-town trattoria. Remember, Signora, that a good plate of tagliatelle or a mixed grill is easy to find in our area; courtesy and attention to customers would make the difference.
