20/05/2025: Excellent restaurant a stone's throw from the Porto San Giorgio seafront. Seafood, meat and pizza menus are available. Having chosen fish, I can say I'm satisfied. Good food at a reasonable price. Efficient, professional and kind staff. I highly recommend it, but if you go on the weekend, it's best to book in advance.

04/01/2025: We had dinner with friends at the legendary Rolando, master of dialect cuisine, writer, painter, but above all it is always a pleasure to spend time in his company. Restaurant that spans the history of cuisine over the last 50 years, with strictly typical dishes of the area and excellent wines. An excellent dinner in a refined and familiar environment and service. Very good to recommend

02/06/2025: I had heard about this place and I was happy to try it especially in view of two important events that I am organizing for the summer and for which I am looking for a restaurant. Well, what can I say... We sat down at 1pm (having RESERVED of course), we started eating at 2.15pm (I counted the people present in the whole place: 24). I asked for a grill with rare tagliata, the waiter offered me the "blue cooking" (quote) or in his opinion, just seared. Perfect. Well, the grill arrived at 2.50pm, the tagliata was anything but "blue" cooked, in fact, I would say medium if not a couple of pieces, but above all COLD. The rest of the meat was cold, the sausage inedible. All for an amount I would say exaggerated for a paper tablecloth and terrible service. Too bad. They saw me for the first and last time. For the events mentioned above...well...not even thinking about it. Too bad because the atmosphere wouldn't be bad either. P.s. seating children at 1pm and bringing them a first course to share between two at 2.10pm is truly shameful, especially if there are 24 people in total in the room.

28/05/2025: So … • Super cool and welcoming place but the cleanliness needs to be reviewed, cobwebs everywhere especially in the lamps above the tables where the diners / customers dine. • indecent service almost in a hurry for no reason given the amount of customers, it is not an all you can eat and not even a fast-food ... so I would say that the wine should have been opened and poured, even if you don't let them taste it, but placing it together with the water on the table in a hurry can be a bit brusque and unprofessional. Orders taken while walking and running, Even while you are dining and talking is it bad to hear everything is fine? Attention to the customer is fine but I think it was more rushing than paying attention to a customer, because if I am chewing and talking I cannot interrupt my conversations with the other diners or at least chewing to answer you yes thank you!! I was asked at least 4 times in 1 hour of dinner. I'm still eating and you want to clear the table at all costs... we need to review the basic restaurant service a bit. Last table we're still finishing our drinks, it's 10:40 pm and you allow yourself to bang the chairs on the adjacent tables to "fix things" by putting them upside down on the tables and turn off the music... be patient, you're a bit fed up with your job but it's not the customers' fault... •This job is difficult and I understand it very well but every now and then a smile together with good, kind service will surely make your customers come back. •excellent, quality food, excellent meat and average price for what I ate

24/04/2025: Corte del Sole is a farmhouse located a stone's throw (literally) from the main road, so it is easy to find it but you will still be far from the chaos of traffic. Once you arrive, you can leave your car in the large free car park that the Casale offers for its guests. You will be pleased to notice the care, cleanliness and also the greenery that characterizes the entire structure. Il Casale del Sole, despite being ancient, has been well renovated both inside and outside. In fact, you don't have the feeling of staying in an "old" place. Indeed, the older elements are well embedded in the structure. For example, the counter where breakfast is served has been well maintained and restored and has a certain charm. On the floor of my room (the first) there is a beautiful antique Singer sewing machine. There is a lift to reach the upper floors and it is also large. The breakfast consists of very good products. Don't miss the tarts but above all the jam-filled pastries (those that look like Mulino Bianco Saccottini, so to speak). The latter were delicious. The room I stayed in (102) was really spacious, with simple but refined furnishings and some paintings (modern art I think) that give personality to everything. Furthermore, the presence of two chairs inside the room, a large wardrobe full of hangers (also for trousers) with an attached safe and a small fridge are an extra touch of comfort. I was surprised by the bathroom, very comfortable and with a large shower. Basically, here you can take a shower just like at home. Finally, I would also like to mention the quality of the windows. The soundproofing level is very high. Don't be fooled by my photos. From these, in fact, the room may seem a little crowded and restricted. But I want to point out that we took a double room and only later did we add a single bed. This also suggests the great availability of the staff, which you will find throughout your stay. If you are looking for a structure that offers you an excellent service but that doesn't cost a fortune, in a strategic point, from which you can reach Ascoli Piceno or San Benedetto del Tronto with a short car trip, Casale del Sole is what's right for you. I would definitely stay here again!

09/06/2025: Homely trattoria, but everything, too, exaggeratedly, greasy. Too bad because the location would be great. 1.Tortellini with ragù: homemade pasta with a filling that is too "strong", in my opinion, and in an approximate way. I found 4 little bones in the filling. 2.Side dish of roasted tomatoes floating in oil to forget.

08/06/2025: a leap into the past.... a location from another era where family management makes the difference!! Returning after a few years we found the fabulous first courses, where quantity and quality make the difference... Their fantastic homemade gnocchi, even now, are only made on Thursdays despite us trying to "bribe" their young and professional waiter. We will definitely return, maybe on Thursday.... 19/05/2025: Refined gourmet restaurant with some excellent mushroom dishes. Refined atmosphere. Helpful, very kind staff, knows the dishes and wines perfectly. Good desserts but not up to the standard of the rest. Accepts dogs.

27/05/2025: Discovered thanks to the advice of a colleague, minimal but very pleasant environment, kind and impeccable service and the pizza guys, absolutely top in my opinion. I have eaten so many pizzas in my life, all over Italy believe me, I will definitely return to try other doughs and other types of cooking but I think it is the perfect candidate to climb to the top of the ranking of the best pizza I have eaten. I will confirm soon.

08/03/2025: In the alley of Castel San Giorgio, one of the most historic and important streets of Porto San Giorgio, there is La LOCURA BISTROT: their sandwiches and their Kentucky chicken are exceptional accompanied by TOP draft beers and to finish off with a flourish, a homemade dessert cannot be missing.... FANTASTIC ⭐️💯

18/01/2025: Great burger and good beer. Good choice of different burgers and other options. The place is small and cute and has a porch outside. We spent c.a. €30 p.p. for hamburger+beer+shared fried food+dessert.

10/12/2024: I ate at this place for the first time a few days ago and I was pleasantly surprised. truly beautiful and tastefully furnished location with an intimate restaurant room where a lit fireplace welcomes guests. the staff is extremely kind, helpful and attentive to customer needs. the food and wines offered are top-notch, highly recommended!
