06/04/2026: I went to Pongetti restaurant for Easter Monday lunch with friends and had a truly positive experience. The appetizers were very good, with fresh, well-prepared fish. I also enjoyed the first courses, which were tasty and carefully prepared. The fried fish was the highlight: excellent and truly light, not at all heavy, perfect even for a holiday lunch.
The sorbet was also noteworthy, special and ideal for ending the meal. The waiters were kind and helpful despite the restaurant being busy for the holiday.
The restaurant is a bit dated and not on the beach, but that's less impressive than the quality of the food. Recommended!

09/07/2026: Excellent self-service lunch spot featuring organic, vegetarian, and vegan food. Prices are average. Once inside, you can also do your shopping. I go there often when I'm in the Duomo area. Historical note: in the 1980s and 1990s, the location was a nightclub called Mistral. The dance floor was located in the area where there are now restaurant tables. What memories! 😎🤣

The strong point is undoubtedly the quality-price ratio, which is truly hard to beat in the area: generous portions, fresh ingredients, and carefully prepared dishes, all at more than fair prices. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, ideal for both a dinner with friends and a relaxing evening by the sea.
A special mention goes to the owner, Alfredo, always present, kind, and professional: he knows how to put guests at ease and helps create a family atmosphere that makes them want to return.
A sincere place, where you eat well, spend a fair amount, and always feel welcome. Highly recommended.

We always watched the host prepare the pasta or gnocchi fresh.
The food is so plentiful, but it's impossible not to finish it all; it's prepared with so much love.
Breakfast is a delight, and the coffee is simply delicious. The wine selection is perfectly adequate and very reasonably priced.
The pool, like all the grounds, is very well-maintained and offers everyone their own private spot.
We have rarely slept and eaten so well.

09/04/2026: The ice cream is excellent and tasty, with fresh, flavorful ingredients and a variety of flavors, from classic to more elaborate, you'll be spoiled for choice. I discovered it a few years ago, and now every time I come to San Benedetto, I can't miss out on a good ice cream. The staff is friendly and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

31/01/2026: Four of us (my husband and two kids) had dinner at Desiderio this evening. The pizza was excellent... it's always been excellent! We were served by a really nice waiter. I don't know his name, but we had a table right in front of the pizza counter. He was really kind and patient, even helping one of the kids decide on ice cream when he couldn't decide. Highly recommended!
