13/01/2025: We have been going to this restaurant for years and have a great time. Sciatt and special pizzoccheri, but the other dishes are also really good. Friendly, friendly and attentive staff.

19/01/2025: Fabulous food, obviously the best pizzoccheri I've ever eaten! A la carte menu or possibility of following 4 types of menus where typical and local products are offered.
Light and very good wine produced by them. Excellent value for money, if you are in the area you absolutely must go there, it is worth it.
08/01/2025: I have already been twice to this restaurant with a particular atmosphere, it feels like entering a house!!
The pizzoccheri are good, a peculiarity: there they make them without potatoes! But they are still excellent

04/02/2025: Comfortable restaurant and friendly staff. Sliced without praise or infamy, the pizzoccheri are good, well done, the sciat a little bland, but not greasy! I didn't like the desserts, in my opinion they are not homemade and are too cloying. I didn't take the second one because the portions are generous. Nothing to say about the price, it is in line with the offer
01/02/2025: For years I have been frequenting Teglio, changing places from time to time.....today for the second time I ate the Valtellina menu and I can say that I ate the best pizzoccheri here

26/11/2024: A beautiful farmhouse surrounded by greenery, fixed menu consisting of sciatt and cold cuts, pizzoccheri, second course of meat, desserts and moka coffee. All very good and at really competitive prices, around 25 euros per person. We will definitely be back!

09/02/2025: We stayed in this hotel on an organized trip, one night with dinner included. I must say it was a discovery! Delightful room with mezzanine, children's play area, bar service for aperitifs (very plentiful), very good typical dinner and course to teach us how to make pizzoccheri.

06/01/2025: Wine like vinegar, very greasy pizzoccheri but I haven't eaten worse ones yet! Prices not displayed, paid a fortune for what we ate, never again! Good ribs, good scatts! But still overpriced for a place like this and for what we ate. Good pizzoccheri for sure not there.

03/02/2025: Since 2019, every time we pass through Teglio, we stop to eat at the Bellavista restaurant: delicious food, generous portions and always courteous and helpful staff make you feel at home!
Ps the pizzoccheri are fabulous, it's impossible not to have an encore!
02/02/2025: We had dinner here with some excellent pizzoccheri. Typical cuisine and fast service. The staff was extremely kind.
If we return to these parts, we will definitely stop here again.

24/08/2024: Ci è stato consigliato dal B&B in cui dormivamo, chiedendo dove mangiare i pizzoccheri. Il locale è fermo agli anni 70/80 e fa sorridere. Pizzoccheri molto buoni. Il resto nella norma, senza infamia e senza lode.
22/08/2024: Come ogni anno siamo tornati al Combolo per degustare i loro famosi pizzoccheri e non siamo stati delusi. Abbiamo scelto sciatt su letto di cicorino che erano fantastici sicuramente i migliori che abbiamo mangiato e a seguire pizzoccheri neri fantastici dal sapore indescrivibile. Per terminare sorbetto al Braulio buonissimo. Il tutto annaffiato da un ottimo vino valtellinese selezione Combolo. Siamo stati serviti dal cameriere Fabrizio che conosciamo da anni sempre bravo, cordiale e puntuale. Tutto ottimo, complimenti!

30/09/2024: We used this refuge as a base for a trip to Lake Palabione. Very good food (pizzoccheri to be booked) and in abundant but not excessive quantities: 1 mixed platter, pizzoccheri for 2, children's menu with polenta (a little burnt) and melted cheese, house cake and coffee affogato, beer and water at €80. Very friendly and relaxed service. After lunch we lay down on the lawn in front of the restaurant

15/02/2025: We were positively impressed by the excellent dinner and the way the bedroom was, too bad it was only one day. But we will be back on holiday.
02/02/2025: Let's save what can be saved, namely the size of the room and the apparent cleanliness.
Let's start with the booking: we call at 11am to book the same day we wanted to arrive for 6pm having seen availability on Booking. The lady, yes there is room, it costs 129 euros but since I don't get the deposit in time you have to get it on Booking for 144 (ah ok).
Having no alternatives, this is what we do.
We arrive and the owner opens her eyes wide at the two children (the age is clearly indicated on Booking). It was 6.10pm reception like this is the key you don't need anything else since you have children. If you want dinner in the restaurant from 7.30pm but by reservation by 7pm. (But the restaurant is à la carte and also open to third parties, what does this mean??). You have children, it's late, don't you want to stop? Ok and off to show...80 euros for a dinner with 2 first courses, 2 cutlets with chips, 2 bottles of water, 1 dessert and a quarter of unspeakable wine (4 euros for water and 2.5 euros cover charge). All in a 70s atmosphere complete with a TV on channel 5 which says a lot about the characters. Ah, luckily we were guests of the hotel.
In summary:
- 0 soundproofing
- Pillows and mattresses that are not very commentable
- The owner is unsympathetic, especially with children. She tells you for no reason to keep them quiet after 10pm but she doesn't care if there are other people than people hanging out in the corridors at 11.30pm.
- Questionable breakfast with cakes among other things in plain sight on the counter all evening in the restaurant room.
- Avoid dining there

26/10/2024: Buongiorno, ogni volta che vengo a Teglio, è inevitabile un pranzo al Castello. Ottima cucina infatti mi trovo qui proprio in questo momento l!!!!!
02/10/2024: Menù ottimo, servizio impeccabile, le cameriere molto veloci e cordiali...lo consiglio... tornerò presto per la sagra dei funghi porcini
