05/05/2025: Through our journey around Italy, it was the worst meal out of all of them. TLDR look at the pictures yourself. Absolute scam of a place. Food: - Coperto charge is normalised around this touristy area, but this was the only place to bring cheap crackers in plastic bags from grocery store for it - Food is bland, ingridients are cheap and tasteless. Sauce is disguising, everything tastes like cheap can food. - 1 shrimp teared in pieces and a tiny chunk of burrata is just laughable, look at the picture - In fact, it was the only time in my life I have returned dish after one bite. My partner forced some of her meal in, but then had to give up as well and return it Atmosphere: - While it has some good sea views, keep in need all the mosquitos you will have to deal with on a date night here. They are everywhere Service: - Younger staff were doing very well. Older man for some reason was actively ignoring us and didn’t have any manners from the moment we arrived. He would talk to someone else while at our table and wouldn’t even look at us or say a single word at all. Mind you, place wasn’t packed and it was not busy. - No refunds offered for bad meals, we wouldn’t beg it either 👍🏼 To conclude, I fully understand the concept of touristy places being overpriced. We were ready to pay extra, but at least to get nice meal and service. Instead of that, we were absolutely scammed here. Unfortunately, that’s the only possible way to put it.

03/05/2025: Most points are awarded for the ambience. Everything is very traditional and dignified. The location and the terrace are uniquely beautiful. Unfortunately the service wasn't too friendly. My glass with some more drink fell over. A monosyllable apology was given, but no compensation or compensation was provided. The salad as a side dish was a bit bland, especially since you have to season it yourself. Once we ordered without tomatoes and only green leaves came. I would come back because of the location.

09/05/2025: The food was very tasty. But charging €3.50 per person so you can eat on site is a disgrace. We were not made aware of this beforehand.

09/05/2025: Our group came here for lunch. The food is fresh, well prepared but a bit plain and not so tasty. The portaion of the same dish is not consistant. We wete quite surprised. We ordered some bottle of wine, but were given water cups instead of wine glasses. The food should be well prepared before our arrival but we had to wait for some time.

25/05/2025: Locale al centro di Sirmione pulito e molto organizzato a partire dal personale ho mangiato molto bene e ol prezzo nella norma a Sirmione di d'olio si spende molto di più consigliatissimo

21/05/2025: Absolutamente fabulosa comida aquí! Un cálido saludo, rápido, servicio amable y la comida era increíble. Un menú grande y variado, pero con comida muy fresca y muchas opciones caseras. Realmente disfruté de la noche!

22/03/2025: Sólo vaya. Llegamos para un almuerzo rápido tarde y mantuvieron un restaurante abierto solo para nosotros y a pesar de que dijimos que comemos solo pizza, recibieron una sopa para nuestro pequeño, y fue genial! ¡PERO! ¡Eso nos llevó a volver al día siguiente para una cena que fue una experiencia para recordar! Hermosa trufa tagliatelle (probamos 3 lugares diferentes calificados mejor en Sirmione) este era uno para recordar! ! Y en cuanto al plato principal, el cerdo ibérico fue cocinado a la perfección, ¡simplemente increíble! Y para colmo todo era un gran vino Valapocilella Ripasso y, por supuesto, un pastel de queso pistacho desierto - ligero pero cremoso como un sabor de nube! Big KUDOS para la cocina para hacer platos tan grandes durante un par de días seguidos, pero también el personal de espera es un gran equipo, se puede ver que les importa que el plato se adapte a su gusto! ¡Fuimos dos veces y volvemos por más!

22/03/2025: Locale in centro a Sirmione vista lago. Tavoli molto ravvicinati e arredati con gusto,porzioni cibo piccine,ottime le polpette di baccalà.

14/04/2025: Nuestro último día y vinimos aquí para almorzar. No podíamos fallar. Para mí el mejor tiramisú de la historia y he tenido uno todos los días! Un montón de "mejor" dicho por todos. Excelente servicio al cliente también y una vista para morirse.

04/05/2025: The food is good… what arrived. I understand the start of the season, I understand people but 2 hours for a boat seems a bit much to me. Seeing all the other tables being served, the glovoo courier leaving loaded before us... and last but not least the waiter eating the end-of-service dish without having eaten us in the dining room... it seems a bit much to me. As far as the food is concerned, everything is positive but the service needs to be reviewed. I hope it's just a slip up from the start of the season

03/05/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante rapiti dal bel terrazzo e dalla vista lago. Dal menù i piatti sembravano interessanti ma di fatto cena deludente. Spaghetti alle vongole brodosi, San Pietro insapore, 2 maccheroni al pomodoro, presi per i bambini (16 euro a piatto), praticamente conditi con passata di pomodoro...conto forse in linea con gli altri ristoranti di Sirmione, ma eccessivo come abbiamo mangiato.

11/04/2025: Tuvimos la mejor cena. Todo era perfecto: camareros y gerente acogedores, hermoso interior y vista desde el restaurante en el lago y el castillo, la comida era súper sabrosa y servida en el momento adecuado. Estábamos con nuestro pequeño bebé, e incluso esperaron un momento perfecto cuando el bebé es alimentado y yo estaba listo para disfrutar de mi cena. He estado en muchos restaurantes galardonados con estrellas Michelin y puedo dar fe de que il Grifone merece al menos uno seguro. Mi marido es un experto en pescado y confirmó que todos los mariscos que pedimos eran excelentes. Teníamos lucio, vieiras, camarones azules, langosta al estilo catalán y chuletas de cordero, de postre teníamos fondant de chocolate y tiramisú. El marisco fue maridado con Rosado, cordero con Cabernet Sauvignon. ¡Perfecto! Además de eso , en comparación con los precios de vuelta en Islandia , esta cena era realmente barata para esta calidad de comida y servicio. Gracias por una velada mágica. Definitivamente volviendo

18/05/2025: We went there for a quick family lunch without a reservation and that's it! Fast service, good food quality, great price for being a stone's throw from the center of Sirmione, convenient because it also has parking. Tasty grilled salmon steak, excellent pizza, good spaghetti with clams, I also recommend the mussel sauté, one of the best! Recommended for quality, price and location!

18/05/2025: We ate 3 main courses and a pizza and we ate well, we found a bottle of water expensive at 3.50 and the house prosecco at 19 euros brought in a carafe without product details

01/05/2025: We had a quick snack before noon. Ate paninis and drank water. 7€ for a decent sized sandwich was ok. Nothing special very basic. Safe choice for a quick snack.
