12/04/2026: Food was amazing, we went twice. Loved the authentic background music and enjoyed the outside seating. Sweet and sour duck was perfection.

For my wife's 10th birthday, planned three weeks in advance, the head waiter, who only spoke English or Italian, informed me two hours before our reservation that he only accepted cash, claiming the card terminal was broken! Being abroad, carrying cash was out of the question with all the pickpockets in Sirmione.
Completely unacceptable for a Michelin-starred restaurant! I strongly advise against it. As a result, we spent our evening at Villa Cortine, which was far more romantic and elegant!
19/05/2026: Andrea and Diego have been a delight.
The food was not only delicious but complex and the dessert was indescifrable in the best way possible. A work of art!
As argentinian we were just able to call it an elevated mantecol, tho it was so much more than that. Our regards to the chef!

31/05/2026: This is a bistro inside the Migros supermarket in Sirmione, some very rude staff, you ask for ingredients of a product that no one knows anything about because the chef who prepared the dish is not there, you ask for coffee which is usually served with a biscuit and you are told that they have run out and therefore nothing, decent products, nice mezzanine floor but there is a lot to improve.

Our accommodation was in the same building, which was obviously the main reason for coming here.
€9 for strong cocktails is reasonable.
What's really noteworthy is the generous selection of snacks that come with your drinks; you don't usually get that in Germany.
Chips, olives, cookies, nuts, carrots, mini sandwiches, etc.
The staff seem a bit grim at first glance, but that impression fades as you go.
They also show football on a small TV in a corner of the bar, without disturbing anyone else who doesn't want to hear it.
The music is, of course, a matter of taste.
03/03/2026: Hospitality isn't their strong point, and if you add to that the incredibly high prices for a couple of drinks, the damage is done....

18/05/2026: The owner was very rude and insulted me. The cutlets were raw. I paid anyway, but instead of apologizing, she didn't give me a receipt and attacked me because I didn't want the same cutlet again. A terrible experience, I wouldn't recommend it. The waiters were very kind.

04/06/2026: We went to this restaurant for dinner at 6 pm today. Besides us, there was only one other older couple there. The young "assistant" or waiter was awful... the order took forever.
The waitress served us with such reluctance, as if she were saying, "I don't want any customers." I won't be coming back. Please and thank you, or at least a smile, should be possible in every language.
31/05/2026: The food is really good and the price is reasonable.
Customer service was really bad, The employees seemed like they didn't care about the customers at all. My food was missing shrimp and there was a hair in it.

06/05/2026: Initially a good place and nice atmosphere, then after the food order went down, I ordered a pizza with sausages on top, in my opinion frozen pizza and 4/5 sausages on top, (there was also pizza with pineapple on the menu...) the prices do not reflect reality at all, a classic tourist trap
06/05/2026: the staff is very rude, we were told after we already ate that we connor split the bill, afterwards i was told to shut up!
then suddenly it was possible to split the bill.
all in all - the food was tolerable BUT the service is inacceptable and i will definitely NEVER retour again!!!🤬

23/10/2025: The food is mediocre, nothing special, but not bad either. It's a mix of a bistro and a restaurant. I highly recommend the restaurant for a quick bite to eat. But the view is unmissable. The ambiance (outside) is lovely. The waitress who served us was nice, polite, and professional.
15/09/2025: We had a wonderful time at Restaurant Essentia. The cuisine is excellent, refined, and sophisticated. The service is perfect, and the setting is calm and relaxing, surrounded by greenery and with a slight view of Lake Garda.

I would like to make a complaint about the service we received. The waiter was rude, aggressive, and did not want to serve us properly. We were given the wrong food, he refused to change it, and we were charged for food we did not eat.
This experience was very disappointing, and I hope you will look into this matter.
08/05/2026: Disappointing service as it is the ideal spot for a drink when strolling the streets, but the woman servicing us had no interest. She did not want to ask us if we wanted anything and even when we payed she just pointed and tapped the card machine very unprofessional. In addition she had earphones in throughout. Hoping the management team will see this and address it for the future as the location is excellent

31/10/2025: We stayed in a double room for two and had a great time. The staff was very friendly. I'd say the value for money was very good. It's 5-7 minutes from the center.
26/10/2025: Extremely welcoming staff, Mrs. Melita was very kind, charming, and truly helpful. The location was excellent for exploring this part of the lake. There were a few small things about the room that could be improved, but overall it was very clean and nice.
