07/10/2023: We’d just arrived in Italy and Sirmione, looking around this lovely peninsula and wanted a small bit to eat. The menu is extensive here, with loads of different snacks as well as main meals. I chose the salmon bruschetta with poppy seeds. I expected a tiny morsel, but instead got a toast the size of a dinner plate, covered in tasty salmon. Only paid €9, complete bargain. We warned, they don’t give you an itemised bill and we noticed they added a few euros to our published spend, which is sharp practice. It could be we charged us a “sitting fee”, which I’ve seen before in this part of the world. Anyway, service is rather slow and haphazard, but the food here is nice.

01/10/2023: Locale visibilmente molto turistico dunque ci siamo fermati a mangiare con aspettative bassissime. Aspettative deluse pesantemente. Non mi soffermo sulla scarsa igiene e qualità del cibo. La cosa peggiore di questo pranzo è stato assistere a litigi tra la - presunta - caposala e i suoi colleghi ed altri clienti. Maleducazione unica. Potendo lascerei 0 stelle
