Mediocre food for these high prices; ate pizza. A cheese pizza was half cheese and was neatly replaced after a comment about this, but the rest had almost finished eating when the new one arrived.
We found the pizzas dry. (Had different types)
You basically cut away a large dry crust all around, leaving a much smaller pizza.
You paid 3 euros extra per person for a set table and the sandwiches offered as a starter turned out not to be included. They had to be paid for later, it turned out.
Schnitzel with pommes was tasty. Salad also but quite pricey.
Compared to other restaurants where we have eaten, we found this one mediocre.
The staff is highly rated.
04/05/2024: Good focaccia and coffee, pasta was average and quite expensive, the service was slow, I think I was served by 6 people in total, but overall it was efficient, quick and the dishes were warm.

28/03/2024: Really great ice cream parlor with fantastic flavors. 2 "ice balls" are 4 German balls. Extremely delicious. 2 balls in a 30cm bag cost €10, but it's worth it. The mascarpone variety is particularly recommended. We'd love to come back.
16/03/2024: We wanted to have ice cream, but due to the unfriendly style and attitude of the seller, we turned away and instead visited a place where we were welcomed.

09/05/2024: The lasagna was flat, a layer of pasta and a tomato sauce that had no taste. (I didn't take a photo because I was so disgusted). There were 4 of us and none of the dishes had any taste. The kitchen (which is non-existent) was shabby, no sound of pans... A restaurant? Did you really cook? One wonders. Absolutely avoid!!
09/05/2024: Really wish we had read reviews before deciding to waste our money here. Sat down, given menus, restaurant probably half full. Clearly not enough staff working. Couldn’t get attention of waitress to order . Finally decided to just buy a bruschetta to take out. Really wish we hadn’t bothered. We were asked if we’d like it warming up- yes please. Only the outer edge was warm, the centre was ‘fridge cold’ and soggy. Completely tasteless, threw half of it in the bin. There are loads of places to eat nearby, recommend going to one of those instead.

06/04/2024: Very nice restaurant, nice service good food. Good wine. Only minus is the toilet, I don't understand why you don't have seats on the toilet, and why you don't clean it more often ..
04/04/2024: Very bad, the waiters should know at least a minimum of English otherwise there will be a big misunderstanding like this overpriced bill for 3 ice creams.
The toilet is desperate, stinks and flooded.

01/01/2024: Super capodanno ai Pioppi. Bellissimo ambiente in riva al lago, speso il giusto con il menu alla carta. Piatti presentati bene e dall ottimo gusto. Ho mangiato una tartare di gamberi rossi sublime, ottimo anche lo spaghetto alle vongole e bottarga. Servizio molto veloce e gentile.
17/12/2023: Hotel situato in una posizione invidiabile. Villa Liberty di uno splendore d’altri tempi unità da strutture moderne con camere ampie e con splendida vista sulla piscina e sul lago.Terrazza per colazioni e cene molto ampia e pontile privato per poter attraccare la barca.
Luogo ideale dove trascorre le vacanze o un week end in perfetto relax.

07/04/2024: Terrible! One ice cream two ice creams for CHILD 5 euros! Exaggerated amount of medium ice cream. I spent 25 euros for 5 ice creams that weren't even eaten because they were too big or wrong. Too much confusion, waitress who barely understands Italian and served the wrong flavour. To be avoided

Reported to the municipal police, and to encourage their control, I reserved the right to make a general civic access to the documents following my complaint.
20/03/2024: Absolute impudence and complete unfriendliness. If you drink a coffee at the counter, you are not allowed to use the toilet! And the owner's statement that we should use the public toilet came on top. Please keep away!

28/01/2024: Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo fatto il terribile errore di non cercare il posto su TripAdvisor.
Non era molto invitate già al primo impatto, però un po’ affamati e con gli altri locali circostanti pieni, abbiamo deciso di pranzare qui.
Abbiamo mangiato due toast e una porzione di patatine, per la prima volta in vita mia ho mandato indietro un piatto perché immangiabile. Le patatine erano fredde e mescolate tra patatine vecchie del giorno prima con patatine crude. Hanno praticamente riportato le stesse riscaldate.
Due domande dovevamo farcele quando durante la nostra oretta di permanenza in questo posto abbiamo visto ben due coppie dopo essersi accomodate ai tavoli, prendere le proprie cose e andarsene. Errore nostro.
06/11/2023: Appena vi sedete vi verrà chiesto se volete dell'acqua, prima ancora che portino il menù. Un litro d'acqua lo pagherete 4 euro.
Il coperto 1,5 euro a testa, consiste in una tovaglietta di plastica pulita con uno straccio appena vi alzate. Pizza di gomma e tostone misero. Errore nostro a non aver consultato TripAdvisor prima di entrare. State alla larga

04/01/2024: Qualità del cibo pessima - tagliere di salumi di scarsa qualità- le pietanze sono arrivate fredde- sconsigliamo vivamente!!!
03/01/2024: Pranzato spendendo troppo mangiando niente!! Abbiamo preso paccheri ai frutti di mare pagando 18€ al piatto che poteva pure starci se il piatto fosse stato abbondante, ma la porzione era come un antipasto. Cinque paccheri (contati) con un po' di sugo di pesce che sicuramente era surgelato. Sconsigliato vivamente

25/10/2023: Arnaque totale. Les prix affichés sont corrects mais on s'en sort pour 8 € par personne. Quantité généreuse trompeuse : Rien de naturel, glaces pas bonnes du tout, nous leur avons ramenées tellement nous nous sommes sentis arnaqués. Piège à touriste à éviter.
25/10/2023: Ce commerçant, soit disant artisanal, propose une infinité de parfums, ce qui donne envie à des enfants d’en goûter au moins deux. Les glaces sont industrielles et avec des goûts d’arômes chimiques sans aucune saveur réelle. Problème, c’est la quantité de parfums qui fait le prix, pas la taille, et les tarifs ne sont pas affichés face au client, mais dans son dos. Résultat 24 euros dépensés pour 3 glaces énormes, toutes jetées après en avoir mangé 3 cuillerées. Une arnaque totale !!!!!
