Although the restaurants in Sirmione are 99% tourist, we were pleasantly satisfied with lunch, a menu with salmon penne and mixed fried vegetables and a Sicilian pizza.
The classic penne with cream and salmon, cooked al dente and with a sauce that is difficult to make mistakes due to the cream (unfortunately)
The fried food is good, dry, varied, plentiful and fresh.
The pizza cooked in a stone oven was fragrant, well seasoned and not at all burnt at the bottom or at the edges, the mozzarella was of good quality and even at the end of consumption it was not heavy or chewy.
Super friendly staff.

Cibo buono ma prezzi alti. Ok che siamo a Sirmione ma un piatto di spaghetti al pomodoro per il bambino 11 euro mi sembra esagerato. Pizza buona, ben cotta ma anche lì una 4 formaggi 13 euro. Per il resto locale pulito, personale gentile e servizio veloce.

Our dishes were not of excellent quality, perhaps due to the out of season, but you can see that they are organized to give much more. Let's hope see you next time.

Un’ottimo posto per una pausa pranzo dalla visita della città. Abbiamo ordinato una pasta con speck, radicchio e provola, nonostante che l’impiattamento non era il massimo il sapore era molto buono. La cotoletta alla milanese invece era croccante e buona, l’unica cosa è che ci aspettavo una porzione più abbondante di patatine fritte. Il personale è stato molto gentile e cordiale.

Despite reading some bad reviews we ventured into this restaurant as they had a range of interesting sounding vegetarian option, and we received a nice welcome from our waiter. The location on a piazza near the harbour is very pleasant.
We ordered two starters for the two of us to share: grilled vegetables with pine nuts, and an usual bruschetta with beetroot hummus and burrata. There was a nice variety of vegetables and the pine nuts provided a nice crunch. The bruschetta was fabulous, with very fresh burrata. We followed with pasta: penne with broccoli which were ok but nothing special, tagliatelle porcini for me. The flaked porcini had a live earthy flavour, but I would have appreciated a slightly bigger quantity. We were too full for dessert.
I had a Campari Spritz as an aperitivo, and my husband a glass of Bardolino from nearby, followed by some very nice Valpolicella with our food.
Service was polite, and jovial. Our EUR86 bill was average for Sirmione, where everything is overpriced, starting with a ridiculous EUR3 cover charge per person. Nice food, ok service, but too expensive - that’s how it is in Sirmione, and you just have to budget for it!
